The known issue with hybrids currently is if you change the occult status of a Sim in CAS. Like if you download a Sim from the gallery and then change them before taking to CAS or if you use a cheat to edit the occult status in CAS.
You say it was randomly generated but I want to make sure you didn't do anything of that kind ?
The easiest is probably to just delete the Sim in the household manager, especially if it's a one time thing.
