I have noticed that when playing, I often encounter a bug which makes sims not be able to walk anywhere or they have the bubble above their heads saying that there is something in the way which I have checked on and off build mode and nothing is there. When I use the mailbox cheat "make all sims happy" it works but then all sims are frozen in place and I debug everything and the household becomes unplayable. I spend weeks making households perfect and they become unplayable in a few hours.
I have just begun to experience this myself. Usually, I can go into B/B mode and click on the item, move it a bit, go back into the game and it is fine. But there are times nothing seems to work. Sometimes, I go back to B/B and delete the item and buy another. That occasionally works too. I had this happen AFTER my sim had put clothes into the dryer. When I sent her to retrieve them from the dryer so the clothing in the washer could be moved, I got this bubble too. At first, since I had just gotten "Bust the Dust" & "Laundry Day Stuff" I thought it was possibly related to one of the packs, but I no longer think so. 🤷♀️
