Hi,
I had this on PC after the July 1st patch but I do not use the gallery much. This wont help console players but I just moved out all of my files .txt from sims4 folder and restarted the game which regenerated new files. This worked short term. I went on the gallery a day ago and I got the connection error on PC. I rebooted the game and I was able to connect to the gallery again but this has happened more than once in July.
It’s happening on ps4 too, there’s no gallery option at all for me :/
Same for me on ps4. I cant continue the event because of this :/
Sometimes they reset the options so I went to the "other" settings to click the box, there is no longer a box to click. It was fine before the patch.
I went into settings and relinked the ea account, the game crashed but when I reloaded the gallery came back.
I have the same issue! I'm on PS4. I just managed to get unstuck from a goal on the Nature event, and then I couldn't claim the rewards. Then I saw I had no gallery.

My ea account was already linked, and on the ps4, there is no option to relink it to ea. But I think the issue got resolved on it's own, because I jumped back in to look for that option, and it's connected. On ps4, I think people have to click "Online Social Features Access" and or "Auto-Reconnect" if it isn't already clicked. Those options were completely missing earlier.
Go into your game options and under “other”, click link account
Just so people can see, you just have to sign back in with your account by going into the game options and into “other”, the button should be there. It will restart the game so save if you’re playing. Weird that it signed us all out lol
