I had this issue on my PS5. I know that my ea account was linked before, but tonight I had to link it again in order to get my rewards and use the gallery. Upon linking there was an updated user agreement I had to agree to (so maybe accounts have been unlinked to ensure people agree with this? I don't know).
I had a hard time finding where to relink my account though, and it took me a while to even figure out that this was the problem. I couldn't figure anything out in the save I was playing, and finally saw what was wrong and re-linked the account from the main menu.
