[XB/PS] Can't Claim event rewards/Connect to gallery/No Gallery

When I go to claim the rewards it says that I must be connected to the internet. I am connected to the internet and I've checked the settings and everything else. I should be able to claim them but n...

I have items on the reward track that are claimable. When I go to claim them, the game sends me an Error Message.

The message states: 

Online Connection is Required.

Please go online to save your Event progress and receive rewards. 

I am online.

I seen that you had to connect your EA account to fix this. It would not work in the options of the game for us. But I logged into EA using my PlayStation account and it fixed it. My wife’s said hers was already linked so we unlinked the account then logged into EA with her PlayStation account and it fixed the problem.
