I had just booted up the game and loaded up my save when I went to interact with the computer. The interaction menu thing for the computer came up and I could use the left stick freely to move around...

I am asking for some assistance. This is my first bug report ever- I am playing on my ps5 and I have two major bugs that are preventing me from playing the game. 1. Random fire in the ceiling when the game starts. 2. The controller buttons won’t work for longer than 5 minutes. Results into having to close the game and start all over repeating the game play until it stops again.
im very frustrated it has been a week and i cant play the game.

Yeah same I'm trying to play today and it keeps doing it and I keep restarting my ps5 and it still doing it. Yesterday I did this process and it eventually worked but toke ages very frustrating. Please fix ea I need my chill sims time :(

i’m having the same problem on xbox - my buttons just completely stop working. i tried playing offline and that worked so i would try that temporarily till they fix. x
Started last night on my Xbox and the game is basically unplayable now. I've checked multiple saves and even tried starting a new game.
I’m having the controller not work every few minutes as well. The game is unplayable. Any time I go in the inventory or push something with the pie menu, I can’t get out of those options and the mouse won’t let me back out, reload, or do anything else in the game. The controller works fine using everything except The Sims.
Same problem. Also Ps5. The buttons aren't working. First minutes, now seconds. Unplayable.
