I had just booted up the game and loaded up my save when I went to interact with the computer. The interaction menu thing for the computer came up and I could use the left stick freely to move around...

I play on ps5 and this has happened every time I wanted to play today. The buttons are not working for anything. I can only exit the game by pressing the PlayStation button, but this means I have to close down the game and lose any progress I’ve made. Icons and objects are highlighting but none of the buttons on the controller are working other than the analog sticks.
this is not an issue with the actual controller as I’m able to navigate the PlayStation with no problems

This was happening for me last night. Thought I'd try again today to see if it's still a thing and, yep, doesn't appear to have been resolved. Last night it was happening about 10 min into gameplay and today, it happened as soon as the game loaded.
Same issue with me on Xbox! EA please fix! :(
