I have encountered many console control related issues lately. Sometimes the controls just stop responding and sometimes the controls don't respond at all on certain actions.
Most common for me are:
the back/cancel button failing to respond in BB Mode but after multiple presses it finally works which makes building a nightmare because you try to test different objects or colour swatches as you build but then you can't back out and put it away so you can put something else down.
The swatch button and also the eye drop button just stop responding sometimes.
The L1/R1 triggers in CAS don't switch outfit categories at all. They don't respond ever for me which means more cursor movements and back and forth instead of being able to flip back and forth with triggers on the controls.
Lastly in Milestones you can't navigate past what you see in the panel to other milestones. The cursor just won't snap to any of the milestones so you can't scroll down through them. I've only seen this happen on console.
