[XB/PS] Can't Claim event rewards/Connect to gallery/No Gallery

When I go to claim the rewards it says that I must be connected to the internet. I am connected to the internet and I've checked the settings and everything else. I should be able to claim them but n...

I have items on the reward track that are claimable. When I go to claim them, the game sends me an Error Message.

The message states: 

Online Connection is Required.

Please go online to save your Event progress and receive rewards. 

I am online.

My wife and I are having the same problem. She started the even and now can’t claim the rewards and the gallery is not showing up. The event and the gallery are not even showing up for me.
