I've seen a lot of other people having issues with this event, but not specifically in the way I am. When I click on the event UI and then click on claim rewards, it says I need to be online to receive the rewards, but I am connected to the internet and I have no idea why it would say this. I've turned off my mods too, so I don't know what else to do.
I also had trouble with the Grim reaper event and a few other, so this is disappointing (to say the least) that these kind of events constantly don't work.
I also have this issue. Was working fine until the recent update.
