[XB/PS] Not being able to scroll in CAS

If you're on PC or Mac, do you have any mods installed?

I have this problem for both clothing and hair so I can't even change the way my sims look. So I was continue playing the game but no I don't want to because all my sims children are aging up and I can't fix their hair or clothes. So it very frustrating. Restart the game doesnt fix this either. I play on play station 5

I made an account just to say I am experiencing the same issue. I had no problems with CAS before the update and now it won't let me select certain hairstyles, or shirts, etc. It's in the menu of subcategories once you have selected the main category. 

OMFG every single update that has happened since this STUPID AND UNNECESSARY marketplace/gallery bs, IT IS MAKING THE GAME UNPLAYABLE. First, I cannot place my households that have already been created because the buttons won't allow you to click anything on the gallery menu. Just stays right there. AND NOW AFTER THIS LATEST UPDATE, I can't change my sims hair or clothes, it won't scroll through the items AT ALL. All I can do is back out. THIS IS BEYOND FRUSTRATING BECAUSE I JUST WANT TO PLAY MY **bleep** GAME AND IT KEEPS BEING RUINED. You didn't fix a single bug, just made everything worse. Is AI being used or something because you all suck at keep this game afloat. 

Can no longer Scroll in CAS unless the sim is not wearing the asset you are trying to scroll through. For example if my sim is wearing a dress I can not scroll through dresses unless I take the dress of her. 

I’m also having the same Issue on Xbox Series X.

After some messing around, I think the “freezing” has something to do with the cursor locking onto the item you have equipped in the catalog. Whenever the catalog freezes, holding up/down on the d-pad ALWAYS unfreezes it whenever the cursor would reach the top or bottom of said catalog.

So, for example, if your Sim has a hat equipped, going into the hat catalog WILL freeze the menu, but if you unequip the hat before pressing into the catalog, it won’t freeze until you leave and trying entering it again (if you have a hat equipped). This has been very consistent for me.

Chiming in with same. CAS and Gallery are pretty much unusable for most console players. Freezes, can’t scroll, can’t select items, etc. Hope there’s a hot fix soon. 

I’m on Xbox and am experiencing the same thing. Can’t scroll through t-shirts, pants, show all options, and long hair. Guess I’m not playing until it’s fixed. 🤦🏽‍♀️ 

I just updated my sims 4 on console. The CAS is broken, i can't change bracelets or full body outfits on my sims. I also can't change anything on the sims face Features.
