[XB/PS] Not being able to scroll/select in CAS

Sameeee. I’m on Xbox and it was working fine before this new stupid update and if I didn’t spend as much money on this game as I did, id delete it and not touch it again. Which also makes me mad. If we’re putting money into this game lets have it run smoothly please and stop adding stuff instead of fixing what’s already wrong with it 🫠

This is happening to me on ps4 too! They need to patch this ASAP!! Cas is like my favorite part so if i cant use it the game is useless 😭😭

When i click on the infinity-symbol for clothing , it is shown, but  a am not able to do one thing (for example scroll).

New - since last update 12. Mai 2026 .

In addition , the cas generally shows noticeable longer loading times.

Since the update my game crashed 4 times in 2 hours, cas won’t let me select anything unless I search by colour or pack, and so far the doctor and acting career are  completely broken

I’m going through the exact same thing. I really hope that they fix this soon. What has been helping me in CAS is constantly using my right stick (I play on PS5) to randomize what ever I can’t use my cursor to access. It could’ve hair, tops, whatever. That’s the only way I get it to work. I try moving my left stick at the same time to. That’s the only thing that has made CAS playable. I’m very disappointed. 

I am dealing with a problem where I can’t select any clothes to put on in the all outfits category.I have to go to each clothing style individually like trousers or blouses and even then, sometimes after being in that section and I go to another one, when coming back to that other section I’m unable to click any of the items or change my clothes in that section.It seems like there’s no way to fix it.I genuinely cannot deal with this as I just fixed the cursor being missing bug… 

I'm also experiencing this after the 12 May update.

All packs except vampires and werewolves

Steps to reproduce: 

1. Edit a Sim in CAS

2. Select an item to change like shirt or pants 

3. Choose ∞ (Show All) 

4. From here, you'll see the only thing you can do is adjust your filters. You can't scroll, there's nothing selected and it doesn't automatically pop you to the piece your sim is currently wearing. 

Expected behavior: if the Sim is wearing an item in the displayed results, the view should take you to that piece in the right frame and you should be able to navigate up, down, left, and right through the options from there, and select an item to equip.

If your sim isn't wearing a piece from the selection on the right, the top left most item will be pre selected, but the navigation is the same as above 

It looks like the work around OP mentioned doesn't work if the Sim is currently wearing the specific item type (for example, if my sim is wearing a long dress, I can use all the filters like skirts, sets, etc without issue, but if I select long dresses, I get the behavior described when you select Show All.

Please note: This is a really impactful bug that is causing a really poor user experience and is actually preventing a basic function in the game that will lead to many disgruntled Simmers 

Please don't sleep on this one!

I can't click on any hair. And when it does finally let me one and I decide I don't like that hairstyle, it won't let me pick anything else. 

The gallery is infinitely loading when I try to load in a tattoo.

Eyebrows, can't choose different eyebrows

Say I want to change my sims lips, I have to repeatedly click on the lips for it to maybe work. Most of the time it doesn't. 

Can't get the all shirts, pants, shoes options to load, it won't do anything.

I can't change skin colors, eye colores or different facial feature shapes.

So basically everything in C.A.S will not work, I haven't even been able to play in game because I can't hardly get my sims created, and by the time I do, I'm too frustrated to even play.
