laptop recommendations
hi everyone! i’m looking for some advice as i am thinking of purchasing a laptop strictly for gaming purposes (mainly sims 4 but maybe also some roblox + minecraft). i am not at a point in life just yet where i can invest in a desktop pc set up or a crazy expensive gaming laptop. the most i am probably comfortable spending is about £680 and even then i am wary as i do not want to waste my money on anything that may run into problems. i have a few options currently but am open to other reccomendations and also would like to hear if there would be any issues with my picks so far. (i am in the uk btw) thanks for the help!
Game cashes w/o mods
Hi. I just updated my game but it was cashing before that. I toke my mods out and ran the game I was able to get to main menu and I stayed there for like 25 minutes or so and the game was fine but the when I clicked resume it was loading but cashed before getting to live mode and when I had my mom in I made it to live mode before it cashed. I have been having this problem for more than a week now and I’m so tired.I stopped playing the game for a while and when I came back I updated the one before the 5/27/25 update and it had been cashing since then I idk what to do. Can someone plssss help me 😭😭😭UI broken?
After I exit build mode, the only ui that is on my screen are the ones on the top right hand corner. And the only thing I can click on is the up and down buttons, wall cutaway view, center on current lot, and the help and support system. The other ones I can click on it but when I do nothing pops up. I do use some mods. I use UI cheats and mc command center. And I do use custom content. All of my mods and cc are the most up to date they can be. I can’t even save my game because when I click it nothing pops up, when when I click Esc on my keyboard. I did provide a photo.
freezing while saving
every time I go to save my game it freezes on the save screen. it happens when I save and exit or just save the game. I do have mods, I have cleared my cache, organized through my mods folder, and deleted conflicting mods. I have not checked my cursed forge mods. I have tried saving once every 10 minutes, it allows me to save around 5 times before freezing again. I tried this to save a bit at a time and not overload my game. makes no sense it only allows me to save a couple times before freezing again. getting so tired of restarting every day please help!
The Sims 4 Crashing
I have no idea what the issue is. I have a gaming laptop that can handle just about anything. The specs are immaculate and i own just about every pack except Bantuu. I've taken out every single mod and custom content in my game and every save that i have just to make sure there weren't any corrupt files and it STILL CRASHED 💔. I've repaired the game over and over and it is still doing it. I'm starting to think it's just the sims game at this point. Is anybody else having this problem? If so can you please give me some advise or help? I don't even want to play the game anymore because i can't figure it out. Anything will help. Thank you!! ❤️My game will not load/work
My game will not load no matter what I have done. I've taken all my mods out but none of my loaded games will not load. Better exception has told me something called "state" is what might be causing the issue. I've taken all cc out and my game will still not load up, when i place all my cc mods back it will only load the mange worlds and I can't play any of my family's
