Unable to load households - Mac OS 15.7.5
Hello everyone, I can't load any households into my game. The last time I played was in June 2025. I tried restarting the game in March 2026 (after installing the latest update) and encountered this problem. I gave up, thinking I'd try again after a future update. So I started trying again a few days ago, and the problem persists. I can access the world, but I can't load any household. I've tried: launching without my mods -> same problem launching with a "new" Sims 4 file (after moving the previous one), then restoring Saves and Tray -> same problem launching the game without Saves and Tray -> the newly created household loads correctly. I therefore conclude that the problem stems from my save file, but why? Everything was working fine the last time I played, in June 2025. Is there any way to fix this? I tried using the few older save files the game offered, but it didn't change anything. If necessary, I should also be able to find older save files on an external hard drive. Thanks in advance for your help. NB : During my multiple attempts, I ended up once with a "lastexception" file, which you will find attached.
Indie Sims 3 CC Creator!
I have been making CC for about a month now, and I wanted to try, humbly, to get some more engagement! I know Sims 3 is a pretty niche and tight-knit (one reason I decided to join) so I thought why not get accustomed to the modding side of things! I will post my Tumblr for anyone who's interested. My house disappeared
I loaded into my save, and the entire apartment in San Myshuno had disappeared. This has also happened in my other saves, and I can’t figure out what’s causing it. Any insight on how to fix this issue would be greatly appreciated. I really don’t want to keep starting over again and again.
Zombie Pack
What if they made game pack that was zombies? It could include tarnished clothing, junk jewelry, new skin details, apocalypse style building materials and furniture, etc. They could eat brains in a can, like the plasma bags for vampires. They could either harvest from other sims and make them zombies too or have a brain plant they can harvest from. They could have a whole skill tree of super strength, hungry less often, or even a boost in skill from eating brains from people with certain traits, or even a boost in the skill with the highest level of the sim they ate the brain from. They could have weaknesses as well, eating brains from other sims could make them more likely to zombie out and attack other sims, or super strength makes them hungrier more often. New jobs could be zombie hunter, containment officer, or medical researcher. They could become zombies from a virus from the research facility or disrespecting grim/gravestones. They could even have them have 2 forms - their disguise and their zombie form. Just a really cool idea that I thought about. Maybe someone good at making mods could do something like this. I know there is a few out there already, but I think I am wanting a "Friendlier" version for some game play ideas I have. I want the zombies to be more occult like and have a wider game play to them.
No save files will load
Since the update on 12/5/26 none of my saves will load, will just take me back to world map after trying to load for 5 minutes. I have repaired all mods, removed mod file and tried to load (still nothing) repaired game in the EA app and still nothing. I've ran plumbuddy and removed any duplicate mods and anything that's out of date. I'm scared to clear cache in case I lose all saved files, and a save I've had for years with multiple generation.
Mc Command Center Last Exception
Hello Everyone, For several months, I have been trying to determine the meaning of this error and identify which mod it originates from. I have no custom career mods, yet I continue to receive a Last Exception, and despite my efforts, I cannot pinpoint the cause. Does anyone know which mod might be responsible for this error? [SE] Mt. Komorebi Ofuro bathtub: Water not transparent
I do have mods and cc installed, but I have tested without them. As far as i know this is the ONLY tub that is affected by this bug, all other tubs are fine (at least in my game.) only this one is like this... As you can see the water is not transparent like it's supposed to be. Not a huge bug, but annoying nonetheless, especially since I use that tub very often. :/ Edit By Crinrict: Adjusted Title to better reflect the issue
