Game crashes randomly during gameplay

Hi, i really need some help. I'm not sure why but the game keeps on crashing randomly during my gameplay, sometimes when i start a game or during CAS or some random moments. I've attached DxDiag and lastcrash log files.

It seems i'm unable to share the lastcrash file so i'm sharing the link from my cloud drive.

  • NIGHT-XZ0  Are you getting BlueScreens while you play?  There are quite a few listed in your dxdiag, but not enough context to tell when they happen.  Some of them are related to the graphics driver though, so I'd suggest doing a clean uninstall and reinstall of the driver.  Here's how:

    https://crinrict.com/blog/2019/02/clean-re-install-of-graphics-drivers-with-display-driver-uninstaller-ddu.html

I also see that your page file is very large and almost all in use, or at least it was when you ran the dxdiag.  That suggests you have a lot of background apps running, and it could also be why Sims 4 crashes—the game could be running out of memory despite your computer's substantial resources.  The page file is where the processor stores data that would normally be in RAM but doesn't fit or isn't currently required, and you had 33 GB of data there at the time of the dxdiag.

Point is, try restarting your computer and closing background apps immediately before playing.  If RAM use is still high, go through the Task Manager's background processes list closing anything that doesn't need to be running.  The Task Manager will show you how much memory is in use overall, and it shouldn't be more than about 20% immediately after a restart and with nothing else open.

I've never seen any bluescreen during gameplay but yes, i do remember a lot of apps running during each instances. I've also cleaned installed my gpu drivers recently and yet it still happens so i'm not sure if its related to gpu.

  • NIGHT-XZ0  Did you use Display Driver Uninstaller to remove the driver?  If not, please do so now.  Other methods are mostly but not completely reliable.  If that still doesn't help, please post a new dxdiag.

Please also look for new errors in the Reliability Monitor.  Hit Windows key-R and enter "perfmon /rel" without quotes, and you'll see a chart of errors and updates with a column for each day.  Today is on the right.

Look for an error that happened at exactly the time of your most recent Sims 4 crash.  If you find one, double-click it to see more details, then copy that info and paste it into a reply here.  If you don't see a new error, check back in an hour or so—the Reliability Monitor doesn't always update right away.

I'd ideally like two or three of these, or a note that the same error happened two or three times, all after you've clean-uninstalled and reinstalled the graphics driver.
