EA customer service is OUTRAGEOUS
What is up with this company? I recently unlinked my account to my PS account and linked it to a new one, thinking I can link back to it after that. One, the initial person I was talking to never mentioned anything regarding a "Linking Pass" or the circumstances of using it (As seen in the screenshot of the chat). Then, when I proceeded to work this out easily the next day, it has proven to be an "impossible task" for these EA employees. They have never answered my questions, never been reasonable, and as you can see in many chats they just disconnect the chat, because they know its a simple task. They're acting like I'm stealing 50 percent of their shares or earnings from restoring my EA account back to its original PS account. In the most recent chat, the guy couldn't even tell what section is this Linking pass in or what article because I read it top to bottom and it never mentioned this. If anyone in EA sees this, just help me out. Its a simple fix, just return it to its original account please!!!!! I'm legit thinking of starting a civil lawsuit against them, because the rude behavior alone and dissatisfaction I've experienced is agonizing. FIVE CHATS and not a single bit of help. Don't they have supervisors too? I ASK FOR THEM EVERYTIME AND THEY ALWAYS dodge the question. Please, anyone just help me out. okay so i cant link my steam account, or play battlefield 6 because my steam account has been linked to an old email that has been deleted, and i cant unlink it for obvious reasons, i have spoken to ea support live chat, but they ask for the information on an email account that has been deactivated for over 5 years? like what would my phone number be back then or any associated accounts from back then, stupid **bleep** questions, last 4 digits of card number? what the one i used 5 years ago? like come on man what is this. can someone more higher up please get in contact with me coz no one else helping and i cant play a game that i wanna. one of the operators said the information was very close but a few things were wrong and that spelling mistakes could also class it as wrong, so my info was correct but he cant tell me what bits werent, stupid really, someone please helpSolved21Views1like1CommentEmails not received to Apple’s private email relay addresses
Emails will not be sent to Apple’s private email relay addresses, effectively blocking users from accessing/editing their account details and potentially risking account lock out. For now, when creating a new account, it’s safer to choose another sign up option until EA fixes this. For context, EA currently supports Apple as an identity provider when signing up for an account for the first time. When signing up with Apple, users are given a choice to either share their real email or a private relay address tied to the service’s domain. When opting for the latter, it’s currently observed that emails will not be sent, preventing users from accessing any of their account details due to an identity verification code screen. In the worst case, one may be completely locked out of their account if EA were to ever require verification post account login similar to Battle.net. Looking into this problem more, it appears EA’’s has failed to satisfy Apple’s requirements. According to Apple’s documentation, the emails sent are required to be authenticated and the organization must register its outbound email domains. Otherwise, no emails will be sent to those addresses. Given what’s outlined in the documentation, it’s evident that EA has insufficiently tested the sign up with Apple feature and has failed to properly satisfy its requirements. EA please tell me how I can sort this. I purchased the phantom edition of BF6 on PC, but the extras wasnt showing. So i clicked on the phantom upgrade thinking this would install the add on and I have been charged another £30 for it when I already paid the full price for the phantom edition. I dont seem to be able to refund the addon, and I have no idea how I can send a message to for help because it seems your website makes it very difficult to find a customer service contact. Probably due to me living in a country with several official languages - Belgium, we have three official languages - I receive my emails in the wrong one. My first language is French, my EA account is in English - same for my game - but I still receive my emails in Dutch.
