New Youtuber Issues
Hey guys! I know it sounds cringy but I really enjoy doing CAS more than actually playing the game(I know I'm gonna get hate thrown at me for this but it's fine, what I mean is that I'm passionate for the fashion i get to see among the CC, so it's hard to resist and not create so many looks!) B) ANYWAYS, back to the business... So I've been making CAS videos for two monthes now, trying to upload weekly but sometimes life+college+work happens and I can't make it. I know having a sustainable schedule is one of the most important things for a newbie youtuber, but there are a lot of other factors as well... I'd love to receive any type of criticism (YAS, I'm ready for the hate too! XD) It's all for my improvement, I need to know what I'm doing wrong, because in two monthes I couldn't gain more than 10 subscribers, among which there are my friends as well, lol! :D I'm not as good at editing, I know that and I'm working on it as much as I can. Also, sometimes I feel like I have to explain my choices as of why I thought this thing would look better over that etc etc, but I'm very insecure when it comes to my accent! XD Not only the accent but my voice sounds annoying itself and plus that... Besides these, is there anything I could do to improve my performance and maybe earn some attention? Here's my latest video : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i42prmLAAvQ&feature=youtu.be Feel free to criticise as much as you want and as detailed as you want ( or well, I want it this way) XD Thanks in advance! <3 Happy simming! o:)144Views1like7CommentsQuestion About Starting My First Video
I want to start a Simming channel but one of the blocks I have in doing so is actually beginning it. How did you introduce yourself to the world? Should I do some long drawn out awkward introduction about who I am and why I'm there or should I just start posting them as if I've always been making videos? I'm leaning toward the latter because the first sounds super unappealing but the second also seems impersonal. Thanks!64Views1like7CommentsMy sims got no wishes
So after my computer crashed, I fixed got win 10 on it, installed Sims 4 , my mods and loaded up an old save games. There is 1 sim in the household, a teenager. I changed her aspiration and now she never has any wishes. I played her over a week and she doesn't have a single wish. How do I make her have wishes again so I can get points?21Views1like0CommentsLooking for advice (Done)
casual - cute, formal - ambitious, sports - athlete, sleep - bed for fun only, swim - generic, summer - ready to swim, winter - same as casual Now, what about party? Why this one? (Should I change her shoes?) you might also add suggestions concerning hair (formal - winter)57Views1like2CommentsCopyrighted music from this game?
I try to avoid most music when I record for movies, in the settings ie the radio and dj booth are muted. But in the past I did record certain music in karaoke bars, street musicians etc. Now I wonder if there exists a list of what songs are original or traditional - or safe to use in movies without getting a copyright problem later on. Preferably a list by EA, but perhaps there is a certain pattern in it. Like holiday singing (Seasons) - are they all traditional songs? Street musicians and jamming? Practice singing? Etc? Anyone?474Views1like0CommentsNew to youtube, any advice?
Hello! I just started my channel yesterday and have uploaded 2 CAS and 1 Speedbuild. I am trying really hard and even just bought photoshop to make thumbnails. I am not asking for subs or likes but if one of you could check out my videos and see what I could improve upon that would be great! My channel is ThePinkPlumbob and my icon is a pink plumbob with pink sparkles around it (there are like 2 other channels with the same name, I should of done my research!) Thanks so much! PS. I am working with iMovie so I don't have very good edited skills and the video quality is not good (Never have edited videos before yesterday) I am also not comfortable with sharing my voice and I don't have a mic so that is why I don't talk. This is my newest video! SIMS 4 SPEEDBUILD: Willow Creek Fitness! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D69qM3Z0R2E612Views1like27CommentsThe Sims Youtube Channel - Any Advice?
Hey all! I've got a plan this semester. It's purpose is to destress as homework and photoshoots line up at the door and my list to finish everything with best grades possible lengthens! Likewise, part of my plan is to play the sims 3 for a couple hours every Friday, and post videos accordingly on my new Sims only channel. Problem is i have no idea how to expand my channel. Attract viewers, push forward and continue to post videos, etc. I've had issues continuing previously because of failed equipment. In addition, a minute videos takes an hour to upload to youtube with my terrible home internet (school has EXCELLENT internet, so i'll be uploading from there). I'd love any advice! How do i attract viewers? How does one persevere and continue to post videos? Should I do a lets play on the individual expansion packs, or stick with challenges? (Because the expansion packs have been out for a very long time so i thought it would be a waste of time) Equipment shouldn't be a problem. I'm using my brothers set up, and he's a pretty good youtuber! He's been at this a long time and his channel is growing! (channel is HERE)1.7KViews1like16CommentsFear of starting a Youtube Channel
So, I have a youtube channel with 40 subscribers, not that many but ya know, some. I'm really scared of posting videos because of some of the people in my class are subscribed and make fun of me for the content I make. I don't want to start from scratch, but I also don't want to be ridiculed because of something I'm passionate about. Do any of you have ideas on how to help me and others in fear of putting our content online? If so please inform us. Also please feel free to advertise your channels!
