The Sims Youtube Channel - Any Advice?
Hey all! I've got a plan this semester. It's purpose is to destress as homework and photoshoots line up at the door and my list to finish everything with best grades possible lengthens! Likewise, part of my plan is to play the sims 3 for a couple hours every Friday, and post videos accordingly on my new Sims only channel. Problem is i have no idea how to expand my channel. Attract viewers, push forward and continue to post videos, etc. I've had issues continuing previously because of failed equipment. In addition, a minute videos takes an hour to upload to youtube with my terrible home internet (school has EXCELLENT internet, so i'll be uploading from there). I'd love any advice! How do i attract viewers? How does one persevere and continue to post videos? Should I do a lets play on the individual expansion packs, or stick with challenges? (Because the expansion packs have been out for a very long time so i thought it would be a waste of time) Equipment shouldn't be a problem. I'm using my brothers set up, and he's a pretty good youtuber! He's been at this a long time and his channel is growing! (channel is HERE)1.7KViews1like16CommentsNew to youtube, any advice?
Hello! I just started my channel yesterday and have uploaded 2 CAS and 1 Speedbuild. I am trying really hard and even just bought photoshop to make thumbnails. I am not asking for subs or likes but if one of you could check out my videos and see what I could improve upon that would be great! My channel is ThePinkPlumbob and my icon is a pink plumbob with pink sparkles around it (there are like 2 other channels with the same name, I should of done my research!) Thanks so much! PS. I am working with iMovie so I don't have very good edited skills and the video quality is not good (Never have edited videos before yesterday) I am also not comfortable with sharing my voice and I don't have a mic so that is why I don't talk. This is my newest video! SIMS 4 SPEEDBUILD: Willow Creek Fitness! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D69qM3Z0R2E612Views1like27CommentsHow did you get subscribers for your channel?
Hi! I've recently started a Youtube channel and I was just wondering if I could get some advice from other Youtubers on how you got subscribers for your channel. Any help would be greatly appreciated and if you want to check out my channel where I post videos of my Decades Challenge, Speed Builds, and Not So Berry Challenge...that would be even more appreciated! Who knows...you might like it. Sometimes I think I'm hilarious.. so it's worth checking out haha. Thanks!517Views1like4CommentsCopyrighted music from this game?
I try to avoid most music when I record for movies, in the settings ie the radio and dj booth are muted. But in the past I did record certain music in karaoke bars, street musicians etc. Now I wonder if there exists a list of what songs are original or traditional - or safe to use in movies without getting a copyright problem later on. Preferably a list by EA, but perhaps there is a certain pattern in it. Like holiday singing (Seasons) - are they all traditional songs? Street musicians and jamming? Practice singing? Etc? Anyone?474Views1like0CommentsLive Game Play Recording Software -- What Do I Need?
Hello, Simmers! :) I am looking into starting a Let's Play channel on YouTube (who isn't?) but I would like some advice on where to start. I am on Square One right now--I've only got my computer, my games, and my imagination. With that being said... What setup would y'all recommend? I would like options with the following software: Audio Recording Live Gameplay Video Editing I've done some research and have found that many Simmers use AUDACITY and OBS--to name free software. I have a Windows 10 computer with plenty of space. But I'd like to start out with free or inexpensive software (for budget reasons). But ANY and EVERY suggestions would be awesome! Please list your recording software and maybe a link or two on software tutorials. Thank you & Happy Simming! <3280Views0likes5CommentsFear of starting a Youtube Channel
So, I have a youtube channel with 40 subscribers, not that many but ya know, some. I'm really scared of posting videos because of some of the people in my class are subscribed and make fun of me for the content I make. I don't want to start from scratch, but I also don't want to be ridiculed because of something I'm passionate about. Do any of you have ideas on how to help me and others in fear of putting our content online? If so please inform us. Also please feel free to advertise your channels! Hi guys! I have a question about video editing apps for windows 10. I have tried a couple but don't seem to be able to work with the format of video capture of sims 4 or I cannot seem to add music to it. What are your recommendations for apps? I don't have much funds so free or low cost ones would be great183Views0likes10CommentsYoutuber simmers
A question for members (especially youtuber simmers) - I am wondering what programs are good for filming/recording sims, (especially editing, where you can hear the voice of the player). I am looking at getting something so i can put my videos together and even speak if necessary. Any ideas would be great. Thank you in advance i hope i made sense in my question.151Views0likes5Comments
