[HR] [W] [GRO] Premade townies missing from notice boards
In brand new saves I'm missing townies in several packs (Horse Ranch, Werewolves, San Sequoia), some townies are replaced while others are just missing from their notice boards. I've tested with mods turned off and without my mods folder, and Neighborhood Stories is completely turned off. I'm trying the plant-a-sim quest for the first time, and my plant Sims (I tried with 2) don't have the option to absorb solar energy from plants. I've tried on many different plants at different times of day, but they don't have the button for the interaction. At first I thought it was the genius trait on the first sim I tried, and that the "collect microscope sample" option was replacing it, but this is not the case, as tested by the other sim. I also tried removing all of my mods, and restarting the game(separately). I'm not sure what's causing the issue but I can't complete the quest without this interaction and can't find any record of anyone else having the same issue online. Every day i wakeup and my fairy toddler is raging with her emotional whiplash, and at the same time as i get the notice that her emotions are out of whack, the entire lot's appliances/plumbing/everything-thats-breakable breaks. This is a daily occurance now, and I can't even begin to work my sim's neuropath job which is sad. I get it, fairy toddlers break some things when they get angry, but not the ENTIRE LOT AT ONCE, this is craziness. I'm attaching my savedata pre-emptively so that you can get to work on this...hopefully it's an easy fix, because it's pretty much ruined my relationship with EBN after the whole thing with the Contagious Spread of Ailments and now this effecting toddlers... Never used Mods on any of the data this revolves around, but I do have some Custom Music Tracks which shouldn't effect anything loaded (nothing so grandious as "Modular Programming" though, just a couple of mp3's I copied into the custom music directory) other than that no CC has ever been used and the last time I touched actual mods was years ago on a different installation with a different PC. Also I wish you weren't so discriminatory about mods usage in the first place, it'd be enough I'd think to "Confirm your not using mods" instead of asking us to recall 10+ years of gaming experiences, over multiple PCs/Platforms (this was back when you were using Origin)/HDDs/Etc...5Views0likes1CommentEyes/Eyelids Issues (Patch 1.110.265/2.01)
Hello, Since my bug report been archived and lost in the deep mountain, I restart a new one with all the updated ressources. TESTED WITH AND WITHOUT MODS/CLEAN SAVE, THIS BUG OCCURS ALL THE TIME. I am a modder and an animator and it seems that the eyelids doesn't translate correctly in the game like it used to be since this bug was introduced, and it's still there with the new patch. When the sim looks downside, the bottom eyelids don't move at all, making sims looks creepy (the eyes go inside the eyelid). I did some animations with the eyelids moving down while the eyes are looking down, and the animation from the eyelids doesn't translate correctly in the game at all. It affects any animations in the game right now. This is an example using CAS with maxis animations, where the eyes aren't closing completely due to the eyelids animations not translating correctly in the game. Before the eyelashes patch, they were closing just fine. For this test, I did a simple sleeping pose I will use to demonstrate the bug, because unfortunately it's the only way to explain the issue more properly, by comparing in an animating program and then how it translates in the game. To achieve this result in the game with the eyes being closed like this : In a posing/animating program, I had to do this : There is clearly an error of how the eyelids translate in the game since the lovestruck patch. I'd like to know if maxis is aware of this issue and if they will fix this, as it affect every animations in the game. If I'm closing the eyes as usual in the program, this is the result I get in the game : And no, it's not the program fault. This happens since the lovestruck patch and again, it affects all the animations from the game, even the vanilla ones. I believe a data from the eyelids or something similar has been touched and it needs to be reverted back. My Sim was turned into a fairy through the Mother Nature Path. After he received his wings, I clicked on the button to go into CAS to edit his wings. However, no matter which pre-made wing color option I choose, his wings don't actually change color. They stay black regardless. I've tried doing CAS Full Edit Mode, and still the problem persists. There's no CC on this Sim at all. His husband, who also turned into a fairy via the same path, has wings that can change colors. I can choose any of the pre-made wing color options for his husband, and his wings will turn that color. Sims cannot WooHoo in bed. I ensured bed was placed without move objects, doors were unlocked, etc. The task shows when clicking on the bed, but will not generate in the Sim’s queue. I also tried reset object (debug) and restarting the game but nothing worked. I currently have no mods or cc installed either16Views0likes3CommentsItems Break Without Gremlins
The plumbing and appliances in my game are currently breaking every morning (around 4-5am) without the Gremlins lot trait. I thought it might be because of an ailment or my sims being imbalanced, but it's neither of those. It's happening every morning, but it's not every object in the house. Currently it's all plumbing in the downstairs (bathroom and kitchen sink) and the oven. The fridge doesn't break and neither do any radiators, fireplaces, or TVs. It doesn't seem to be connected to any mods and I don't have any CC in my game. If anyone has any idea what could be causing this please let me know :) I'm playing with all packs apart from Bust the Dust and Party Essentials kits, and I currently have three fairies and one human in my family.21Views0likes6Comments[V] Game is cloning existing sims as Vampires
You know how the game will generate new sims for you and put them in "Manage Households -> Other Households" ? For the a long time now, it's been generating households with the same name as households that I had previously deleted, either with completely different sims in them or with clones of a few of the sims from those deleted household. For example - Original Jones family (Bob, Jane, Nancy, Paul) was deleted. A household called Jones appears in "Other Households" either just with Bob in it or with one or more sims who are completely unrelated to the Jones family). I've just been deleting them because I didn't want them in my game. Now, for the past couple of weeks, the game generates a copy of one sim from a household that I am currently playing, in their own new household. And that cloned sim is a vampire. (It might help to know that I play rotationally.) Example - in my game Geoffrey and Nancy Landgraab got divorced and Geoffrey married Mila Munch. Mila changed her name to Mila Landgraab. A couple sim days later, I'm playing the Bailey-Moon household and Mila *Munch* (she's showing up with her old name) shows up at the door late at night. I'm suspicious so we don't answer. Then she starts with the vampire animations and turns into a bat. Why is this happening? How can I stop it? The only mod I use is MCCC and it happens with or without it.
