DirectX Error
So I've managed to play through the introductory bit, in the infirmary when trying to leave the game crashed with a DirectX error popup saying the following: See a few others have ran into this, any ideas on what to try? Reinstall the latest Nvidia driver?

Cas stuck on loading screen.
Since the new update and me downloading Lovestruck everytime I try to go into cas it gets stuck on the loading screen and I have to restart my PC each time, I have went through my mods folder deleting cc and mods to try and figure out what's affecting it, I need some help with what mod may be crashing it. I deleted more colums mod, Height sliders, mc command center, UI cheats, all my eyelashes, Tool mod, Better build buy, and any traits that could mess it up. anything that may interfere, but it just won't open cas no matter what I do, am I missing anything?

Can someone help me with this last crash text? Not sure why my game has crashed twice so far within a week. I am not sure what to even look for in this text. Where exactly does it say why the game crashed in this long text?

Analysis - freezing/crashing when trying to check into a resort
There seems to be a lot of freezing/crashing when trying to check into a resort happening. Not everyone has this problem. This thread is to try to find out the common factors of people with this problem. So if you use mods you need to update Overwatch now. ( July 3 2013) If those of us who do have problems with this could answer these questions and provide additional relevant information it may help us work this out. 1. Are you using any Custom Content or mods (If so, please remove all mods. I need it tested on a vanilla game or EA will say it's mod). 2. Which Patch Level are you at ? 3. Did you start a new game or are you playing an existing ones ? 4. Did you transfer an existing Sim over or are they new/Pre-Made ? 5. What town are you currently playing ? EA or Custom ? 6. What is your Operating System (Mac, XP, Vista, Win 7) ? 7. Do you have the download or DVD Version of the game ? 8. Are you reporting for the Uni-World, Home-World or WA-World ? And some extra questions please: 1. Which resort(s) are a problem for you 2. Are all Sims affected? Or is it just a certain one? 3. What career/job does your problem Sim have? 4. Does changing career get rid of the issue? 5. Is your whole household affected? Also other households if you change the active household? 6. What skills do your affected sims have (including collecting and consigning)? 7. Are you using a new or pre made sim?

The Sims 4 totally broke after update 23-7-24
My game totally broke after yesterdays update. It freezes after a minute, removes stuff from my inventory etc etc. Tried to restart the game a couple of times only to realize a lot of people experience the same issue. The game is unplayable.

Sept 2024 update broke loading screen to main menu and exiting cas
I carried out the update yesterday. Updated every mod I had that I was aware needed updating, at first I could get into the game but the game would crash going out of CAS whether it was live mode, from the household management or a new save etc so I went OK must be a mod. Dragged out the entire mod folder from my game to be sure, tested it. Still faulting. Removed the entire sims 4 folder so all saves, trays etc will be new, still happening while 100% vanilla. Uninstalled and reinstalled sims, repaired for probably the 07th time. Now when I try to go in (still vanilla, no saves or tray files etc, no mods at all) I get stuck at the loading screen like it can't progress to the main menu option. I've managed to get into the game, but after going into CAS still crashes on exit, ticked to use the direct x9 which seems to have rectified the cas issue except every second attempt im still stuck at the loading screen for the main menu to get into any saves. I've already done every basic troubleshooting method I can think of, just wanting to know if anyone else is stuck like this?

The Sims 4 CAS won't open after update.
Hello guys, My game ran the newest update and after loading up the game. Create A Sim will NOT work. It stays at the loading screen on a continuous loop. Is anyone else having this isse? I have had to force close the game each time because it simpley wont work. I used minimal MODS, I do have a lot of maxis match CC but everything was fine until after the update. HELP PLEASE:( !!

CAS STILL broken after newest update
Just came here to say, for the unfortunate 5th day in a row, that CAS is still causing my entire game to crash and I still have to force-exit through task manager (I describe the full issue in my previous post). Atp just give me my money back if I’m not allowed to play the game I paid money for. They’re not even addressing the CAS issue at all either, just the other bugs which they’ve already updated more than once. At least say you’re going to investigate this issue that hundreds of other people are experiencing instead of just ignoring it…

The Sims 3 and Intel 12th Gen CPU's - Workaround inside
Well the sims 3 and i9 12th gen don’t get on 😂 apparently the sims team are on it to make it work. The only way I know is I tried playing it today. The launcher loaded up pressed play and nothing no sims 3 intro or anything so had a look on EA and someone had the same problem and the EA bot said they knew of the problem and they were trying to sort it out.

Sims 4 crashing after Sept. 2024 update when I go into build/buy
My sims game has been crashing since the new update, first the menu screen was broken but I fixed it by removing More Columns and thepancake1 color sliders UI v2o more columns compatible mod. Now whenever I got into build/buy it crashes. I went to save a build and when I clicked on save nothing happened and then nothing worked when I clicked on it and when I went to manage worlds it went black and I can’t exit the game. I’m guessing another mod is the problem does anyone have any idea which one could be causing it?
