The Sims 4 totally broke after update 23-7-24
My game totally broke after yesterdays update. It freezes after a minute, removes stuff from my inventory etc etc. Tried to restart the game a couple of times only to realize a lot of people experience the same issue. The game is unplayable.7.5KViews160likes62Comments
*fixed*UI Bugs when opening the Simology Panel for teen/child-July 23rd Patch
Game UI bugs when I open the Simology panel for teens/kids already played including ones downloaded from the gallery that have saved skills/character values. The sims in question already have time played on them, their skill levels are up and character values are also up. When the UI bugs i am unable to travel, open up the game menu/settings and live mode. The only option that works is manage Worlds however it does not go out to the manage worlds screen once you save and exit or just exit. It remains as a black screen with sim icons and emotes going ( game is still running on the household) The bottom UI buttons for the sims themselves is fine to flip through, but if you'retrying to bring up a menu it goes no where eg on the phone to travel, bring up job options etc So far I have replicated the issue everytime in my game, noted below scenarios: Current household is one i downloaded from my gallery, the teens already had skills and character values against them. Added an elder to the household via create a sim to put them in the world. Elder sim similogy loaded without bugging, teen simology bugged the game. Loaded an old save with a teen sim in the family, opened a young adult, adult, elder and toddler simology panel- were fine teen however bugged out. Loaded an old save with a child in the household, both young adults Loaded fine but when I Loaded the child simology panel it glitches out. I am noting character values as when I get the teen/child simology panel opened, the top feature is their character values and they are going haywire by constantly changing when the teen/child themselves aren't doing anything. As long as I don't click simology the game runs fine (so far). This seems to be a bug with the new update and parenthood. I play without mods, I had to start fresh with a whole new sims 4 folder due to getting a constant error loading one of my sims family in my old sims 4 folder. Update broke my game (July 24th)
The update has broken my game, works for a few minutes then breaks and I experience the following issues. Issues encountered: can't go to manage worlds, build mode, or cas - if manage worlds is opened screen simply goes black cant open menu to save/exit game cheat bar cannot be opened teenage sims simology panel broken (can't access, if opened upon loading game it doesn't show traits) once any panel is closed cannot open any relationship panel completely not accessible Note: I don't have any mods or cc, have repaired game multiple times3.5KViews107likes42Comments
Cas stuck on loading screen.
Since the new update and me downloading Lovestruck everytime I try to go into cas it gets stuck on the loading screen and I have to restart my PC each time, I have went through my mods folder deleting cc and mods to try and figure out what's affecting it, I need some help with what mod may be crashing it. I deleted more colums mod, Height sliders, mc command center, UI cheats, all my eyelashes, Tool mod, Better build buy, and any traits that could mess it up. anything that may interfere, but it just won't open cas no matter what I do, am I missing anything?11KViews93likes70Comments
CAS STILL broken after newest update
Just came here to say, for the unfortunate 5th day in a row, that CAS is still causing my entire game to crash and I still have to force-exit through task manager (I describe the full issue in my previous post). Atp just give me my money back if I’m not allowed to play the game I paid money for. They’re not even addressing the CAS issue at all either, just the other bugs which they’ve already updated more than once. July 2024 update made game unplayable
The game stops working after I try to open the children's character menu. I can't go into build mode. I can't save. I can't interact with any of the menu buttons. Anytime I try to travel to these specific locations, the game crashes, and the error 'Game failed to load' pops up. I have reinstalled the add-on, as the problem occurs while traveling to lots from the "Discover University" pack. Hello guys, My game ran the newest update and after loading up the game. Create A Sim will NOT work. It stays at the loading screen on a continuous loop. Is anyone else having this isse? I have had to force close the game each time because it simpley wont work. I used minimal MODS, I do have a lot of maxis match CC but everything was fine until after the update.
