Crashing after hat tricks in be a pro mode
So I had this issue for a bit, then it was patched and fixed, was no longer having problems for the last 4 or 5 days. Looks like the new update (arcade mode added, I think) broke them again. Pretty frustrating, tbh. I only say "in be a pro mode" because that's all I play, so I don't know if it's happening in any other modes. Hopefully another hotfix coming?
NHL 25 - Be A Pro Hat Trick Crash
Game: I was playing in Be A Pro Mode and got my first hat trick at home arena and as the hat celebration is wrapping I start to get a few sound issues and then the screen went black and crashed back the XBOX main screen completely out of the game. I went back in and tried again and repeated the hat trick and same thing. I was able to recreate it 4 times. The last time I even tried deleting the saved game and starting over and it still happens. In other words it's repeatable.
Game configuration failed/Failed to retrieve data
Since Sunday 27th October, loading into online games has stopped working. In WOC I constantly get the message "game configuration failed" whenever I am loading into a game no matter which club is used for the session. In other modes, such as versus, I get the message "failed to retrieve data" along with the error code whenever I load into a game. Every single method the web can offer has been tested and the only correlation I can think of is the system update that sony rolled out during Friday 25th October but I did manage to play a few games right after the system update. Nothing in my settings has been changed at all The workaround has been to create both a new PSN and EA-account and it works as normal Platform: PS5 When does the error occur: When loading into any online game What game modes are affected: All online game modes Network Settings: NAT Type 2 - 1000/1000 connection - Wired - Default DNS
Never fails
Every single day, the same bug occurs as long as I'm dumb enough to stay on ones (not many choices since RP isn't different in drop ins or club...so you lose RP if your club team isn't online and you have to run with randoms in drop in...but, that's a separate topic). So, (usually) after winning the first two rounds, it will not let me search for a Finals round. The game will act as if it searched and didn't find an opponent, but this same (attached screen) message just keeps popping up telling me to press A. After spamming A to try and get it to search, it eventually just restarts the game as if I've just opened it. Now, this wouldn't be so bad if the lobbies worked the same as they did in NHL 24. In NHL 24, you could dashboard and load back into the same round in 1s if a bug occurred or you matched up with someone who just cheats the whole game. This year, it boots you back to the first round. This bug is SO FREQUENT, too. Deters me from ever attempting to go for a Ones Global Championship. (Probably) Every other tournament I play in, this occurs.
World of chel crashes
Since last night anytime me or one of my buddies try to enter a world of chel lobby we get an error code and kicked back to the dashboard immediately. Does anyone know how to fix this or how to get EA involved? It’s ridiculous how hundreds of people cannot play for unknown reasons.
