Launcher crashes when I open the downloads tab in Sims 3
Game launcher crashes when I open the downloads tab in Sims 3, maybe someone has ideas how to fix this problem. I play in Mac. I uninstalled everything and then reinstalled but unfortunately it didn't help. I bought a new world - Roaring Heights Gold Edition but I can't download it in my game when launcher crashes.
I can't access any of my maxis store content
Seeing all the sales for the maxis store towns in the EA Launcher is pretty darn infuriating since none of it works, because the game can't recognize the legitimacy of it all. 😠 I had to wrestle with the game in order to get it to download it all to the launcher, but even after that when i had installed it all, it then decided to delete it all as soon as i started the game, and it also disabled all my DLCs as well just to add the cherry on the top. These problems have been since the maxis store first launched and i am so sick and tired of doing the job of the Developers for them! And it's ten times worse now since the maxis store website have basically been abandoned. Not to forget that the last time i got it to actually work, it had some straight up broken content sold on the store. Like the castle kit which had it's walls wrongly scaled, preventing you from actually building with it, because nothing would actually attach to it, because it was all considered to be bigger then what it actually was by the game, And not to forget the actual castle advertised with the kit was not even included unlike how the builds was for most of the other kits. Another broken pack which i can unpleasantly remember is the World bundle, which would hardlock the whole game for most of those who bought it, and i think if i remember correctly it was because you could buy some of the content from it separately which messed up everything if you tried to download the town after that, and because of how the point system works for the maxis store meant that many would buy random bits and pieces of content here and there without realizing it. There should be a line of code which prevents duplicates from being downloaded, and another code to delete the old code and replace it with the new code in the right order since downloading them in the wrong order can mess up the game. When i pay for additional content for my games then i exspect it to work, the last thing i exspect is to be forced to do the work of the developers for them. I am genuinely considering to take this up with the court of the european commission for games. 👨⚖️sims 3 content

Mac user with basic sim 3 package No packs yet (maybe later when get more cash went to the exhange Ever since they switched over from orgin to ea I can get in with my account (wont post it here) with out having to change anything Just basic sims 3 package here no add ons.. Hi! Recently I bought Sims 3 base game that came with 2 packs: Late Night and High-End Loft Stuff. I started playing at sims 3 when I was 12 on a Windows laptop. Right now I'm 26 and I'm trying to play on my macbook Air 2012. EA added the Metal version, after asking them, and, yesterday, after 30 minutes playing, Sims 3 crashed and quit unexpectedly. I don't know what to do because this error is ruining my experience and I would like to find a good solution. I watched many videos Sims 3 recognizing the CPU but these are designed for windows users. I didn't find anything related for my macbook Air. Sims 3 Crashes On Loading Screen
Hello, I was experiencing issues with my Sims 3, specifically after installing new custom content (CC) and starting to use CC Magic. I would get to the loading screen, where the music would cut off, and the game would crash. I have since deleted and uninstalled CC Magic, and I have removed all mods from my Sims 3 mods folder. However, I am still getting the same result. I have also repaired the game and updated all my drivers, but I am still experiencing this issue. I tried the Alderlake patch with no improvement, all of my sims files are stored on my D drive. I have a Nvidia Geforce GTX 1060 graphics card in a ROG laptop. Processor is an Intel Core i7 - 8th gen. Would love to play these games for the nostalgia, plays sims 4 no problem with lots of expansions and CC.Sims 3 keeps crashing after 30 mins (dx diag included)
I accidentally updated my game to the newest 2025 version (1.69.47) a few days ago, and now my game wont run beyond 30 mins. My game used to run 3 - 4 hours with the highest settings, mods, and merged cc. I use RegulSaveCleaner and delete my saves regularly. I also make sure that I have enough running because I have the Task Manager open. Since the update, my game has been crashing. Things I've tried but did not work: playing in Windows 8 playing in Windows 7 repairing the game through the EA app removing core mods (Simler's Core Mod and Nraas error trap). These are still removed removed Smooth_Id patch/mod. This is still removed switched affinity to CPU 1 only before switching back to 'all processors' updating the graphics card (it is up to date) Not sure what it could be! My game was running perfectly fine before the update, and I have been playing in a large world (Alpine County, I think) for years. DXDIAG ATTACHED
