A Sincere Request for the Future of the SimCity Franchise
Dear EA Strategy and Maxis Development Teams I am writing this message as a loyal fan and a long time player of the SimCity series. I want to share my thoughts on why now is the perfect time for a new SimCity title. Since 2013 the city building genre has changed but there is still a big gap in the market for the unique feel that only SimCity can provide. We miss the sophisticated simulation the distinct art style and the amazing music that made the series so special. With todays powerful hardware and AI the technical limits of the past are gone. As a player I am looking for a new SimCity experience that includes larger maps that allow for real city growth and deeper social simulations. I also hope for a strong single player mode that works offline and modern graphics that make the world feel alive. SimCity is a legendary brand. Bringing it back to its former glory is not just my dream as a player but also a great opportunity for EA. We are ready to be Mayors again. When will Maxis be ready to give us the keys to the city again. I look forward to seeing SimCity return. Best regards
SimCity: Complete Edition Major Problem
SimCity™: Complete Edition includes: SimCity: Cities of Tomorrow expansion pack Amusement Park Airship Set Heroes and Villains Set French, British, and German City Sets Heroes and Villains Set IS NOT INCLUDEDED in the Complete Edition key that I redeemed to Origin many people have this problem. DLCs are not included in this version of the game. ORIGIN version used to have these DLCs EA SHOULD Give us the DLCs that we own as Complete edition owners. There is a bug or a Problem in the system that does not grant these Content to the Complete edition owners. EA should fix this and give us what we own and paid for. EA Support refuses to help us about this topic also there is no place to purchase the missing DLC.Sim City will not work past Maxis loading screen
I downloaded Sim City, complete edition, yesterday. It worked just fine and I played it for a while. I tried to open the game back up today, but it won't work past the Maxis loading screen. I can still hear the audio, but it is stuck. I'm not sure what to do to fix this problem.
SimCity 2013 not working
Hi, I bought the Sim City 5 Complete Edition on sale and I'm facing the following issue: When I click on the "Start Game" button, it says "Connecting to Update Server" and then displays the error message: ERROR CODE SMCY-25: Could not connect to the SimCity update server. Please try again or refer to the customer support link for assistance. I've already tried everything, including disabling the antivirus, checking compatibility with different Windows versions, and reinstalling everything I found on the internet. I live in Russia, and I understand that I won't be treated well, but I'm asking for help if anyone knows how to solve this problem. I've already tried using VPN and other methods to bypass the ^Russian^ blocks, but nothing worked. I bought the SimCity 2013 deluxe edition through epic store and yes, I downloaded and played at my old laptop, but I have to delete because I have to switch to a newer laptop. When I search my library at epic games it was not there anymore. so, I have to go to the website, but it wants me to pay again to play. then I open my manage account i went to history of recent purchase the SimCity 2013 that I bought is there. What to do plsss help....can anyone help?
Hello everyone, I have a physical copy of SimCity 2013 that I registered on the Origin platform over ten years ago. I haven’t played it for a long time and have forgotten my account details, including the password. Today, I tried uninstalling the Origin platform and reinstalling the game from the disc, but the installer forces me to run it through Origin (which, as everyone knows, has already been discontinued). As a result, even though I still have the physical game, I can’t use it anymore. Does anyone know if there’s a way for me to log in to the game again — even if it means playing offline or without launching it through the platform?
SimCity 4 compatibility
Hi guys, Not sure if i'm posting this to the correct forum, but I was trying to use the My Sim feature in SimCity 4 with the sims from the Legacy Collection, but the import tab in SimCity 4 is greyed out. I know that the installation directory was changed with the Legacy Collection, so not sure if that's an issue, but just wondering if any of you have had success with this?
