[HSY] Issues with active highschool UI/ Showing as Holiday UI
It seems like in the newest update High School Days got an update how it displays the school day, by making it like the Holidays from Seasons, I've found a few bugs with this, number 1: When clicking to leave there is no time left how long the school day will take, but there are empty spaces. Number 2: School Starts/Lunch ends... has no actual time when it ends And last 3: (Don't have a screenshot for this one) When you got a task complete the new one won't show up/it won't update till you switch to another sim and back. 6th Anniversary rewards are stuck
I have reached 5500 points for the anniversary rewards but I realized the items are not checked and for the past two days I can not progress and it will not give me my rewards. There is no point in playing if I can't get the stuff I earned and it isn't going to progress either way. I have tried on steam, EA app, and console and they are all stuck. I even reinstalled apex and that didn't help either
[CoL] All animals aging up/dying
This is an open bug that was archived. I am not sure if a new bug report is meant to be made. Animal aging is turned off in options. Aging is turned off for all sims. I have a save file I have played for a few seasons with another sim. I changed to a another sim family (an existing played family) that I have not touched for a long time and immediately Grim appeared and reaped a chicken. All chickens and the cow are aged to be "one...last...pet.." Crashes on Mainmenu
I just downloaded the recent update earlier in the day 4/29/25, which I presumed automatically turned off mods though I do play with a few script mods like UI cheats, MCCC, BBB and a UI color mod. After updating, it crashed upon launching the game from the EA app on my windows laptop. I immediately backed up saves and tried repairing, and rebooted. This led to the game launching and loading a bit, but before it loads into the main menu, it crashes. I figured it automatically turned off mods, but I deleted the script mods which I assume would've been broken anyway, just to make sure. This had no change and still seems like it's about to load the main menu but then it closes. I'm inclined to think the update is causing this, but want to know if it's a shared experience or isolated on my part. Edit By Crinrict: Adjusted Title Update 25/05/11 Did some testing on this and with the help of ChelleBelle716 save and mods folder (and insight), I think we were able to narrow it down to Custom tattoos (or better the lack of them) on mermaids So if you use any custom tattoos on your mermaid Sims (the ones you put in your mods folder), make sure you put them back. This issue will also happen if you disable a pack that brings a tattoo that you used on mermaids. Please let me know if that helps you. Instructions on how to get your game to work. Move the following folder to the desktop: Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > saves Start the game. If you still don't get to the main menu, please post in the tech forum of your platform, posting your specs. You have a different issue. Start a new save game and see if that works. Go to your options and turn mods/cc back on Close the game and delete the save game you just created. You won't need it anymore. It was just for testing. COPY the saves folder from your desktop back to the Sims folder. Also put your mods back if you removed them, especially custom tattoos. Do make sure they are up-to-date with the current patch version. Start the game. If your game still crashes, please post in this thread. If you do want to disable a pack or remove a custom cc from your game, you will need to remove them from all your mermaids first. You can then safely remove the cc/pack.
[LS] Sim from Cupid's Corner Gallery won't change after CAS edit
I cannot find another person who is reporting this issue.. just hoping I’m not alone! My sim opened and used Cupids Corner and found a compatible sim made by a community player. She invited him over and she really liked him. I decided to cheat cas.fulleditmode change his appearance. Now when I load him he reverts back to his appearance before. He will eventually go back to the way I made him in cas for for the first two minute he loads into a location he looks like he used to.. and he has a female voice… Is anyone also experiencing this? Hopefully EA sees this glitch. It’s super annoying honestly. - side note. I am really enjoying this pack otherwise. Issues with Tattoo categorization
Most lower arm tattoos are mistakenly put in the upper arm tattoos category, for both right and left arm. I would expect lower arm tattoos to be found in the lower arm categories.
