EA NextStep, a step back
I am starting to think that they know what they are doing, seeing that the forum was the only resource that popped up when I was researching a problem I was pleasantly surprised to see a "contact us" button at the bottom of the support page. Now I was fully expecting an AI assistant, at least before speaking with support staff or having a ticket created, but what EA has created is well beyond any other assistant I have ever had the displeasure of navigating. Every single prompt from EA NextStep comes with little to no regard of the information you entered into the window previously. Beyond stating your name multiple times be prepared to state your problem, game, and system multiple times in repeat. And for those of you as gullible as me, hoping, praying to at least have an actual ticket created and maybe get a chance to have another person review your problem, let me save you the effort. At the end of each session with EA NextStep it will prompt you to the EA "Self Help" guide where the AI chose an article for you to read and hopefully fix the problem yourself, the only problem, it doesn't actually listen to your problem. I was trying to solve the random EA app failure on PC and beyond having to give it all of the important information multiple times, I was offered a generic "game help" article, a "login help" article, and a "connectivity troubleshooting" article, none of which actually addressed the problem or the fact that I had attempted many of the steps those articles were suggesting before trying to find more help. If anyone has a solution to the EA app bug, I would be very appreciative, but I will not hold my breath on EA finding the solution, as the multitude of threads on and off of this site complaining about the exact issue I was having, and the EA proposed solution, if all else fails, factory reset, and the EA app and EA games are just not worth that effort.553Views4likes9Comments- 59Views0likes1Comment
Fc 27
Hello EA and FC community, first of all thank you for your efforts. I am a football fan who has been enjoying playing EA FC for a long time. Career Mode is especially the most important game mode for me. Among the rumors and leaks about the upcoming FC 27, the possibility of a Chairman Mode (Owner Mode) is what excites me the most. I have a few questions about this: Is it planned to add a “Chairman Mode” to FC 27 Career Mode, or is this purely a community rumor? If it is added, what kind of authority will we have as players in this mode—will we have full control over club finances, sponsorships, stadium management, youth development, and hiring managers? Is there any officially confirmed information or timeline from EA regarding the development of this mode? I believe this feature would bring a completely new level of strategy and depth to the game, and I would be very happy if any official statement or hint could be shared on this topic. Thank you in advance and best regards.275Views0likes1Comment6 Month Wait to Relink Account
I have paid for a lot of DLC for the sims 4 on steam. recently I created a family account on steam so my daughter could play games too. I didn't know that EA was even more greedy than I initially thought and that they have blocked any kind of family sharing in the hopes that you buy everything more than once. I accidently linked my daughters steam profile to my ea account not realizing that all my DCL would be blocked. now after spending days with "support" who cant actually do anything and just keep saying "try to understand" over and over I am told to wait 6 month to access content that I HAVE PAID FOR.Solved138Views0likes7CommentsApril Fools
I'm not amused with the Greg Jennings April Fools gag. This is crap. You are messing around with people's real money spent upgrading their team. Shame on the fool who thought this was a good idea. I knew when you got bought up your company philosophy could turn dark and I was correct. You take advantage of people. Shame. This on top of every time I spend $99 bucks on a store product I get nothing but duplicates. Buy something with eight players and you always get four duplicates. Keep getting rich on the backs of people just wanting to spend hard earned cash only to get abused by EA Sports.64Views0likes2CommentsCensorship issues and solutions to account ownership issues.
I don't have access to my old email. The account is over 10 years old. | EA Forums - 13122218 Hi guys! I'd like to raise a potential issue that's clearly present in EA product support. I'll use my example as an example. I'm not insulting anyone; I'm being constructive in this dialogue. My goal isn't to violate the forum rules, but rather to adhere to them. I came here because EA previously suggested I resolve the issue through the forum if I can't resolve the issue with EA products using the native tools. I've been a user of EA products for over 13 years. An old and loyal friend of EA. One fine day, EA introduced a rule requiring email verification by sending a code. This hadn't happened in 13 years, and I would have been caught off guard. Since I registered over 10 years ago, my email address has naturally changed, and I don't remember the information I provided. EA's CHAT tools ask me to answer 8 questions, which they believe confirm account ownership. But somehow, the chat keeps telling me there are discrepancies, and I don't know the reason for this. But there is other evidence!!! (Block 1) Other evidence includes: 1. Videos and photos from my games, going back 10 years. 2. EA files on my PC going back 10 years. 3. EA games on my Steam account, which includes Steam purchases of EA games. (Block 2) So you understand, the support chat asks me to provide them with the following information: my date of birth, what games I've purchased, when I last logged in, what EA services I've used, and what other shared accounts I have with other companies. I don't understand why Block 1 isn't enough to prove ownership of the disputed account? Why do I post on the forum, get blocked, banned, and write that I'm creating an unfriendly atmosphere. My inquiries about the text they found unfriendly have received no response. I view my ban as a tool of censorship used to punish undesirable and inconvenient users of EA Products. There have been no responses. It's up to the EA user community to judge. Please provide screenshots.Solved93Views0likes2CommentsBattlefield 6 (Phantom Edition), but my EA
On December 2, 2025, I upgraded from the free version of Battlefield REDSEC (Restricted Conflict) on the Steam platform to the full version of Battlefield 6 (Phantom Edition), but my EA account still only shows the free Battlefield REDSEC license, resulting in the multiplayer mode of Battlefield 6 being locked. Please assist in updating my license to the full version of Battlefield 6. Thank you.138Views0likes1Comment
