What happened in your game today?
Hi everyone! I hope you're all enjoying the new forum so far. I know I am!! I'm Charla, a big fan of The Sims 4! ☺️ I was going to join on the old one, but, as it only had a week left I decided to wait until today. I loved lurking on the what happened in your game today thread so I thought would create a new one here. So what's happened in your game today? Today in my game I was playing as a character I created, Lauren Lord. She's an young adult, who dreams of being an author and a mom. Currently she's working as a school teacher, but today she had no work, she stayed at home and played chess and tended to her plants (when it wasn't raining!). I also made this new Sim :) hope the pic works! Look forward to seeing what's happening in your games. X
dance pack idea
So here's an idea for a new expansion pack that I have probably put too much thought into, but a pack including all dancing related things like Ballet, Irish step dancing and hip hop/break dancing with multiple routines and the sim could possibly get like negative Moodlit if they don't stretch before they dance or one if they fail a move. For example: An uncomfortable one would be like 'twisted an ankle ouch'!. The pack could also in could a France inspired world and how we got with the "dance" skill in the Get Together pack instead of like something we could place down, it could be like unlocking different shoes and outfits like for the ballet skill it could be like one they reach level 8 they could unlock pointer shoes and the pack could be call something like Dancing Life and the symbol could be ballet shoes. 🩰
Basements not working properly
I play on an Xbox Series X & the last 2 expansion packs the camera doesn’t work properly in basements. That’s both Insagreen & Nordhaven. It works fine in all the old expansions. please fix it. You can’t even get close enough to your sims to be able to hear them talk. It’s ANNOYING! You should check out each individual town, there’s a few I haven’t checked to see if basements work yet like in, Ravenwood, & Ciudad Enamorada. Tamarang worked fine.
Fairies flying as bats
I updateded my sims 4 game today and now sometimes my fairies will turn into a bat and fly somewhere instead of using their fairy wings. At first i thought maybe it was just some kind of hybrid glitch because they both can fly but my sims parents are fairies so I'm not understanding why shes turning into a bat. Not related at all but hopefully hybrids are eventually added into the game
City living disappeared yet it says its downloaded? PS5
City living disappeared on my ps5 and I have to repurchase it yet it says its downloaded? When i go into my world, city living is locked, yet i purchased it through the sims 4. When i click on the world, it brings up the pack preview and says its downloaded and doesn't give me an option to repurchase it. When I go to the add on section through the Game library, it wants me to repurchase it. I haven't uninstalled anything, terrified to lose expensive packs. please help.
Script Call Failed
I have been receiving a Script Call Failed error since the Nature release. It is happening on only certain items though but is happening in all my houses. I am very thankful that all the items went into my storage so that I did not lose any items that were being displayed. I was using the Little Man Pedastal, Mucho Modern Display Shelves and S1M5-4 Test Tube Pedestal to display my collections of fossils, fish, crystals, metals, aliens, etc. All those items are in my household storage now. When I try to place one of the displays, I get the Script Call Failed error. But I can place others items and even the fossils, crystals, etc down without issues. I have even started remodeling this particular house and am not having any issues with any other items. I have tried to repurchase these items but even trying to purchase them new and place them gives me the Script Call Failed error. I did have mods but they were for pictures, hairstyles and some clothing, but I have removed all the mods and deleted the mod folder. I have even unchecked the Mods and script options in the game menu. I have cleared the cache and even went as far as deleting the folder to have Sims reproduce a new one. I have been repairing my game for 2 days now maybe 7 or 8 times to try to get past this Script Call Error. I am actually repairing again as I am typing this. Please let me know if you need more information.
