One Month One World One Year Challenge 2026
Hello and welcome. :) This challenge was started by Karababy52 (see more here) and I would like to continue it on for another year if I can. Hopefully more people can join in. The more the merrier! The premise of this challenge is pretty simple. The goal is to post one in-game screenshot once a day during the 2026 year. So, kind of like a 365 project for your sims. You will start out with a teen sim and pick your starting world. I'll share a list of suggestions, but really you can pick whatever you want. Your sim will be a teen for 3 real world months, then age-up to Young Adult in April. They will spend 4 months as a Young Adult, then age-up to Adult in July. They will spend 4 more months as an Adult, then age-up to Elder in December. Each month your sim will move to a new world to explore. I've taken all the rules and guidelines here and copied them over from Karababy52's 2023 post and edited them slightly. Rules/Guidelines: One screenshot post per real life day in this thread with a short text summary. One world per real life month - See monthly schedule of worlds in spoiler below. Optional: May change schedule of worlds to reflect your preferences. Your challenge Sim MUST be a teen to officially begin this challenge and post in the thread. Exception: If you are starting the challenge late, you may begin in the current month at whatever age the challenge is at, or you may start as a teen to quickly finish your aspiration and school, then fast forward to the current age. (Example - if you start in April you may hurry through the teen stage and age up to YA, or just start as YA). After three real life months have passed, your Sim will age up to young adult for four months, adult for four months and finally, age up to an elder for December. Timeline posted in spoiler below. Optional: How long your Sim stays in each life stage, teen-elder, is at your own discretion. However, they are required to be at minimum a young adult to attend Uni in Britechester. *Note: If you own the High School Years EP, your Sims may be offered early graduation. If they take the offer, your teen is allowed to apply, enroll, and attend university or join full-time adult careers. Begin Rags to Riches style on an empty lot with 0 simoleons. Optional: Use the 20,000 starting simoleons to buy a starter home and furnish it how you want. Aging off. Optional: May use long lifespan. All unplayed residential worlds are off limits for any kind of travel. Exception: Newcrest may be designated a 'neutral' world to place venues for your Sim to use regardless of their current world residence. Optional: Newcrest may be used to replace a pack you don't own instead. Optional: Your sim may travel to other worlds not used in the challenge if they get an invitation. Sims may take a vacation to any of the designated vacations worlds. Rental lots in unplayed residential worlds are off limits. Aspirations released with a world must be fulfilled first. May choose a base game or other pack aspiration not in the challenge to complete afterward. Optional: Only one aspiration released with a world must be completed before choosing base game or other pack aspirations. Willow Creek, Oasis Springs, Newcrest and Magnolia Promenade may be used in substitution for worlds listed in the challenge for packs you may not own. In that event, choose one or two base game or other packs aspirations not in the challenge to complete per world. Your Sim may marry and/or have children. Aging up children is at your own discretion. High School attendance is not required. May use cheats to fulfill daily/promotional task requirements. *Exception: Applicable only if you do not own the High School Years EP or if you do own it, but have elected not to have your Sim live in Copperdale and do the aspirations associated with the EP in your challenge. The beginning of each new month/world starts Rags to Riches style. Optional: Your Sim may keep everything they have accumulated and use their funds to buy or build a new house, or even move their house to their new world. If your challenge Sim dies, it's game over. Optional: You may bring them back to life and continue or use another existing Sim in the household to complete the challenge. Or, keep playing as a ghost! Occult states and Celebrity statuses must be removed when progressing to the next month/world. Optional: May keep acquired lifestates/statuses. *Note: Vampires can't get a suntan, which is a Beach Life aspiration task. If a new world is released with a new pack at any time during 2026, you have the option to swap the new world with another prior released world. Give yourself a break and don't stress over days missed due to internet outages, vacations/holidays, real life work/responsibilities or sickness. Extra story screenshots may be posted, but try to keep it to around 5-10 max. There's no limit for screenshots shared on your blog. May use satisfaction points to buy rewards. Exception: Money tree seeds are disallowed. Lottery tickets are disallowed for purchase. Beginning season, length of days and moon phases are your choice. May turn off or cheat away/change all Eco Lifestyle features applied to worlds. Exception: Must be turned on while living in Evergreen Harbor. May participate in all default Holidays, modify, delete and/or add your own. May include a link to your preferred Blog site with additional story text/screenshots, in addition to your Daily Post Pic/Text Summary. Mod friendly challenge! However, please use discretion when using them. Using a mod to fulfill an aspiration is disallowed. Exception: May be used to correct bugs and/or glitches. Worlds/Packs and Age-Up Timeline: *Note: Feel free to replace any pack you don't own with one of your choosing! Beginning Age: Teen January - Copperdale (Highschool Years) OR Nordhaven (Businesses and Hobbies) if you choose to do Copperdale third (I just feel like starting with it). February - Gibbi Point (Adventure Awaits) March - Nordhaven (Businesses and Hobbies) OR Copperdale (Highschool Years) April 1st: Age up to Young Adult April - Britechester (Discover University) May - Innisgreen (Enchanted by Nature) June - Ciudad Enamorada (Lovestruck) July - Tomarang (For Rent) August 1st: Age up to Adult August - Moonwood Mill (Werewolves) September - Tartosa (My Wedding Stories) October - Ondarion / vacation in Batuu (Royalty and Legacy / Star Wars) November - Evergreen Harbor (Eco Lifestyle) December 1st: Age up to Elder December - Ravenwood (Life and Death) Challenge End Date: December 31, 2026 Challenge Pack Aspirations (Pick one, or play them all): January - Live Fast, Admired Icon, Goal Oriented, Drama Llama *Note - Challengers who own HSY not living in Copperdale this month may complete the Live Fast and Drama Llama aspirations at any time as a teen. Joining teens at high school is not required to fulfill them. February - Critter Hunter March - Esteemed Entrepreneur, Master Mentor April - Academic May - Fairy Stories, Elixir Enthusiast June - Romantic Explorer, Paragon Partner July - Seeker of Secrets, Five-star Property Owner, Fount of Tomarani Knowledge, Discerning Dweller August - Complete Werewolf Initiate and pick 2 of the following; Emissary for the Collective, Wildfang Renegade, Lone Wolf, Cure Seeker Optional: Complete all aspirations September - Soulmate (I know, it's Basegame, but My Wedding Stories doesn't come with an aspiration...) Optional: Choose any aspiration if you don't want to do Soulmate October - Social Puppeteer, Hope Vs. Order, Galactic Privateer November - Master Maker, Eco Innovator December - Ghost Historian I chose the list of worlds based on my personal preferences and packs I haven't fully explored yet, so feel free to change it however you like. The main goal of the challenge is just to pick a new world each month and post one screenshot per real life day. I do have C&D on backburner Wishlist but I honestly want an update so I can have short legged dogs :P My furbaby is not represented XD Debating Laundry Day and Nifty Knitting, also. And lastly, if I should get (though not on sale) Wonderland Playroom (I do not play kids but I love the theme), before they move it to Marketplace. I just do not know if I will support it since the currency is purposely not to match a Kit price.

Hi everyone! I hope you're all enjoying the new forum so far. I know I am!! I'm Charla, a big fan of The Sims 4! ☺️ I was going to join on the old one, but, as it only had a week left I decided to wait until today. I loved lurking on the what happened in your game today thread so I thought would create a new one here. So what's happened in your game today? Today in my game I was playing as a character I created, Lauren Lord. She's an young adult, who dreams of being an author and a mom. Currently she's working as a school teacher, but today she had no work, she stayed at home and played chess and tended to her plants (when it wasn't raining!). I also made this new Sim :) hope the pic works! Look forward to seeing what's happening in your games. X
Natural Living skill interactions really need a pie menu [EBN]
I don't get why all the interactions from the Natural Living skill aren't grouped together just like occult/specific type interactions are. I find having all those interactions in the main pie menu when you click on the ground or on your sim really annoying, especially because you can raise that skill and unlock a lot more interactions even by accident while doing other actions. Can we please group them together 🙏🏻

ciao! ho scaricato l'espansione vita nel ranch e automaticamente una famiglia di quell'espansione si è trasferita in una mia casa. l'ho trasferita da un'altra parte PERCHÉ volevo modificare la casa, ma dopo aver fatto questo l'arredamento sparito. perché? io lo rivorrei indietro PERCHÉ ci ho messo tanto e non era ancora finita quella casa.

Bought a new expansion pack through loaded.com. My game wouldnt load i contacted support followed all the steps my saves wouldnt load. Removed my cc and the expansion pack and my older saves worked just fine but the one i used this morning wouldnt load. My game worked just fine before buying the expansion pack WITH the cc and the mods.
Calendar Update? Okay...The festivals & notifications...not okay...
I'm once again sending this out there in the world. I'm ready to petition and pitch this. Those who have multiple packs stacked up will get where I'm coming from. Due to the sheer amount of these packs such as Cottage Living, Snowy Escape, High School Years, Life & Death, and City Living...and maybe one or two I missed. I get notifications are cool to prompt to go to festivals, but not with all gameplays. Right now, I'm working to the top in the royalty chain with a nosy brother, and an unexpected jealous sister who will soon be outcast from the dynasty. I'd like to add that was a fun unexpected note the game slid in, she was becoming jealous of her sisters leadership...but,,,no room for that, so no tainted blood. Toodles... Through my mental story that the game aided it to become, what really breaks the fun out of it is all the notifications for these festivals and events. Really. No, I don't want to go to The Festival of Snow. No, I don't want to go to Afterlife Anonymous, No I don't want to go to Prom because my sim is a young adult. Don't get me started on the football one. It scares the hell out of me when the music plays. With all the packs that are now laid out, not every single gameplay I want to focus on these festivals. My main sim woman doesn't have kids so no to all youth festivals. I can't even see any of my Dynasty Sims touching dirt or an animal for Cottage Living. The sounds and notifications are ridiculous and stack up my notification wall alone when it comes every 5 minutes. If EA wants to update something, then update the calendar...pronto. Allow players to turn off notifications to their choosing such as how we can isolate Fae & werewolves in their designated world. (an update with vampires being designated to their world would be nice to.) Allow us to choose which ones we want or don't want on the calendar. Or...allow players to turn off notifications all together. It is such a break in the actual fun sometimes, where the festivals become such an annoyance that I have to turn off the game. I understand there is a mod that will remove everything from the calendar and add when you want too, frankly I have tried it and am very close to kicking it back into my mods folder because right now I don't want to attend any festivals. I hope other players agree, and I hope EA can get to the core of this to give players freedom to play how they want instead of placing a chokehold on these notifications to attend festivals. Cupids Corner is another. Sometimes the first thing I do in a save file when I don't want to use the social media is deactivate Social Bunny & Cupids Corner. Which that one is fine. Like with my Occult save file, I tend to use the phone as less as possible aside from travelling and/or ordering food. At the moment, Social Bunny is good to raise up friendships with multiple sims without having to visit them to get my dynasty girl in with the dynasties...errr.....become 'friends'.... 😇 The calendar needs to be reworked, or something has to be done with all these festivals. I, alone am going to go absolutely insane. The Pit Beast seems like a tempting alternative to jump into than deal with these festivals.
