What happened in your game today?
Hi everyone! I hope you're all enjoying the new forum so far. I know I am!! I'm Charla, a big fan of The Sims 4! ☺️ I was going to join on the old one, but, as it only had a week left I decided to wait until today. I loved lurking on the what happened in your game today thread so I thought would create a new one here. So what's happened in your game today? Today in my game I was playing as a character I created, Lauren Lord. She's an young adult, who dreams of being an author and a mom. Currently she's working as a school teacher, but today she had no work, she stayed at home and played chess and tended to her plants (when it wasn't raining!). I also made this new Sim :) hope the pic works! Look forward to seeing what's happening in your games. X82KViews103likes11317CommentsMermaids occults revisited

They should make expansion pack with heaven and underworld with Angels and demons occults since now we have ghost that can roam around now we can have the angels take the spirits to heaven or demons could take them to hell There should be two occults a Demon and angel occult with there own skill branch instead of sharing they can also hide there angel and demon form to look normal *Angels:* - Healing abilities, aging control, flight, and soul-saving capabilities would make them powerful and benevolent Sims. - The ability to cure occults or grant immortality would add interesting gameplay possibilities. - Turning Sims into other occult types like wizards, mermaids, or fairies would expand the game's supernatural options. *Demons:* Death's touch, soul deals, and aging control would make them formidable and intriguing Sims. - The concept of soul flasks and feeding off ghost energy would create a new dynamic. - Turning Sims into werewolves or vampires in exchange for their soul would add a dark, supernatural twist. Introducing *Faith* as a skill would add another layer of depth to the game. Here's how it could work: - *Faith levels:* Sims could develop their Faith skill through activities like prayer, meditation, or attending spiritual gatherings. - *Benefits:* High Faith levels could grant Sims benefits like increased resistance to demonic influences, improved relationships with angels, or enhanced spiritual abilities. - *Interactions:* Sims with high Faith levels could interact with angels and demons in unique ways, such as sensing their presence, communicating with them, or even influencing their actions. - *Consequences:* Low Faith levels could make Sims more susceptible to demonic influences or reduce their ability to interact with angels. The Faith skill would create new opportunities for gameplay and storytelling. For example: - *Spiritual quests:* Sims could embark on quests to develop their Faith, completing tasks or challenges to increase their spiritual abilities. - *Moral dilemmas:* Sims might face moral dilemmas that test their Faith, forcing them to choose between their spiritual values and personal desires. - *Angelic or demonic guidance:* Sims with high Faith levels could receive guidance from angels or demons, influencing their decisions and actions. *Rituals* - *Ritual types:* Sims could perform different types of rituals, such as: - *Angelic rituals:* Invoking angelic protection, healing, or guidance. - *Demonic rituals:* Summoning demonic powers, curses, or temptations. - *Neutral rituals:* Seeking balance, clarity, or spiritual growth. - *Ritual components:* Sims would need specific items, actions, or environments to perform rituals, such as: - *Sacred objects:* Candles, incense, holy water, or other symbolic items. - *Specific actions:* Reciting prayers, performing gestures, or using specific tools. - *Conducive environments:* Performing rituals in sacred spaces, like churches or altars, or in natural environments, like forests or mountains. - *Ritual outcomes:* Successful rituals could grant Sims benefits, such as: - *Angelic blessings:* Increased protection, healing, or guidance. - *Demonic powers:* Enhanced abilities, curses, or temptations. - *Spiritual growth:* Increased Faith, clarity, or balance. *Ritual failures* could add a layer of realism and challenge to the game. Here's how it could work: - *Failure consequences:* Sims might face negative consequences for botched rituals, such as: - *Angelic displeasure:* Loss of protection, decreased Faith, or even angelic wrath. - *Demonic backlash:* Increased curses, possession, or demonic influence. - *Spiritual imbalance:* Decreased spiritual growth, confusion, or emotional turmoil. - *Failure causes:* Rituals could fail due to various reasons, such as: - *Lack of preparation:* Insufficient skill, knowledge, or materials. - *Distractions:* Interruptions, emotional turmoil, or environmental factors. - *Hubris:* Overconfidence, arrogance, or disrespect towards the supernatural forces. Ritual - *Consequences:* Sims might need to deal with the consequences of their failed rituals, such as repairing relationships or seeking forgiveness. - *Learning opportunities:* Sims could learn from their mistakes, developing new skills or strategies to improve their ritual success. - *Risk vs. reward:* Players would need to weigh the risks and rewards of performing rituals, considering the potential consequences of failure. *Ritual mastery* - *Skill progression:* Sims could develop their Ritual mastery skill through practice, study, and experience. - *Benefits:* High Ritual mastery would grant Sims benefits like: - *Increased success rates:* Reduced risk of ritual failure. - *Improved outcomes:* Enhanced effects, increased potency, or more precise control. - *New abilities:* Access to more complex or powerful rituals. - *Specializations:* Sims could specialize in specific types of rituals, such as angelic, demonic, or neutral, and develop unique abilities or bonuses. Ritual mastery would create new opportunities for gameplay and storytelling. For example: - *Ritual challenges:* Sims could participate in ritual challenges or competitions, testing their skills and expertise. - *Mentorship:* Experienced Sims could mentor others, teaching them the intricacies of ritual mastery. - *Legacy:* Sims with high Ritual mastery could leave a lasting legacy, creating powerful artifacts or establishing a reputation as a master ritualist. When a demon turns a Sim into a vampire or werewolf, the Sim could gain some physical characteristics or traits that resemble the demon who transformed them. Here are some ideas: - *Demon's Mark*: The Sim gets a small mark or tattoo that resembles the demon's symbol or emblem. - *Eye Color Change*: The Sim's eye color changes to match the demon's eye color, such as glowing red or yellow. - *Horns or Fangs*: The Sim grows small horns or fangs that are similar to the demon's, but smaller or less pronounced. - *Skin Tone or Texture*: The Sim's skin tone or texture changes to resemble the demon's, such as getting a slightly scaly or shadowy complexion. - *Hair Change*: The Sim's hair changes color or style to match the demon's, such as getting wild, untamed hair or a bold, striking color. These physical changes could be subtle or more pronounced, depending on the game's art style and the demon's powers. The idea is to create a visual connection between the demon and the Sim they transformed, showing that they are now linked If an angel turns u into a fairy mermaid or wizard *Fairy-like Angel:* - *Wings*: Delicate, sparkling wings similar to those of angels, but with a more whimsical and nature-inspired design. - *Halo*: A soft, glowing aura surrounding their head, symbolizing their connection to the divine. - *Angelic Script*: Intricate, swirling patterns on their skin that resemble ancient angelic languages, such as Enochian ¹. *Mermaid-inspired Angel:* - *Scales with Iridescent Sheen*: Shimmering scales that reflect light like angel wings, giving them an ethereal appearance. - *Aquatic Wings*: Instead of traditional wings, they have flowing, fin-like appendages that allow them to swim and glide through water with ease. - *Oceanic Halo*: A soft blue glow surrounding their head, representing their connection to the ocean and its secrets. *Wizard-like Angel:* - *Magical Staff*: A staff that crackles with angelic energy, channeling their magical abilities and amplifying their spells. - *Celestial Robes*: Robes with intricate, angelic patterns that glow softly in the dark, symbolizing their connection to the heavens. - *Eyes of Wisdom*: Eyes that shine like stars, reflecting their deep understanding of the mysteries of the universe. *Soul Collection:* Each Sim who makes a deal with a demon and dies will have their own separate flask containing their soul. - Wild ghost Sims can be caught and will each have their own separate flask. - *Flask Tooltip:* When the cursor hovers over a flask, the name of the Sim trapped inside will be displayed Old one There should be two occults a Demon and angel occult with there own skill branch instead of sharing they can also hide there angel and demon form to look normal Angels Angels can have healing abilities can age the sims up or age then down they can fly and save the souls that are roaming around the map they can cure any occults or give a sim immortality they can turn u into a wizard mermaid or fairy Demons Demons can use deaths touch to take there soul or u can make deals with the demons to get certain buffs but they would have to sell there soul they could also fly around or if they souls wondering around u can take them to the underworld they can also age the sims older or younger and they can turn u into a werewolf or vampire for ur soul and should have a unique look Soul flasks When making a deal with a demon and when the sim passes away there ghost form will be put in a flask with there name labeled on it they can catch wild ghost that walk around or the little spirits that pop up. the flask is used to restore the demon energy like the fairy feeds off emotions it feeds off the ghost sims energy till they disappear or released or saved by an angel Soul prayers For angels when u save a ghost u get some energy from there happiness or being round people who are praying Angels and demons The angels and demons don't get along they will try and fight for the soul and the winner will take it or if there is a sim that past away the angel or demon can bring them back from the other side and since there cosmic entities they don't age once they hit that young adult Baby angel or demon If an angel gets a sim pregnant the sim would some times get an angelic glow and have good happy thought's If a demon gets a sim pregnant they would feel uncomfortable spook and have mean evil thought's and sometimes have like a funny uncomfortable evil laugh And when they give birth to the angel u will see light coming from the sky with harps playing When giving birth to a demon the room turns a light red with fancy fire spawning everywhere in the room that ur in and it will go away Grim reaper If the angels or demons are fighting over the ghost sim the grim reaper sometimes will show up to resolve the issue to restore balance or just to put then back in line or sometimes the angel or demon wins or sometimes the demon can lie to tip the scales or the reaper will just take the ghost himself Having custom wings halos harps and horns pitchforks U can customize the wings and Halos horns and pitchfork colors and costumes19Views0likes0CommentsSims 4 Imaginary Friends

So sorry I accidentally posted this in the mac forum first. Anyways. So I just bought Pets. I was told there was a way to turn off pets aging in the game options, and looking online told me to Open the Game Settings by clicking on the Settings icon in the top-right corner of the screen. Scroll down to the "Other" section and toggle off the "Animal Aging" option. Save your changes and exit the Settings menu. Only problem is I don’t have that option. It’s also not an option in any of the other settings. Can someone tell me if I’m missing something? Did a glitch remove the option? How do I stop my pets from dying?SolvedSUPERHEROS
It would be so cool to get an expansion pack for superheroes and villains and superpowers with quests to catching villains or for villains to commit crimes. Good VS Bad!!!! Build ur own headquarters or Villains lair and for CAS you get to make ur own Superhero or Villain and select ur power!!!15Views1like1CommentPlease let me deactivate worlds only - not packs
I don't like several of the worlds and want to have as few as possible (which is impossible if you want to buy expansion packs. Luckily (or unluckily maybe) that is basically the only feature of most expansion packs now anyways, so I can skip newer ones). I am content with Willow Creek, (Oasis Springs), Newcrest and Windenburg. I don't care about any other (though I do like StrangerVille a little bit.) I can be without for all the other ones, especially Mt. Komorebi, Sulani, San Myshuno, and Del Sol Valley. (If you can't tell by now I prefer the larger, older more green worlds.) I don't even own all expansions because I don't want more worlds (and the "gameplay" in them is not enough to entice me otherwise). I don't care that I would lose the ability to vacation in Sulani or ski in Mt. Komorebi. I don't like them, never have, never will. I also strongly dislike how they influence the sim population and generate a million useless townies that get used once, never to be seen again, while there already are a bunch of sims living in the worlds already that you can push to visit lots. I have deactivated the packs related to most of my disliked worlds, but since I have owned the packs for years it is quite annoying when that one hairstyle or pants, or plant is in a pack I deactivated. If I had never bought them in the first place I would not have missed them at all, but since I have owned them for a millennia by now, small dumb parts of them (like outfits) are used on sims I care about, or in my Legacys. You might also notice how there is no missing of "gameplay" for me when deactivating, only trivial things... I actually want to deactivate For Rent and Growing Together because I don't like the worlds. The only reason I don't is because of the business aspect of owning a rental, and the compatibility between sims in Growing Together... That's it. So much for expansion. Growing Together adds more headache than enjoyment, but so far I know I would miss the compatibility if deactivated, and I don't want to use mods to replace it because of game updates. I hate the worlds. I wish TS4 worked like TS3 with one larger world per save, and if I wanted to move sims to another world I could do that, but not have all million worlds "active" at once with Japanese sims everywhere and sandal wearing, hula-hula skirts, hawaii shirt wearing sims walking around in Willow Creek during winter, just chilling Anyway, that is my rant14Views0likes0Comments
