Portal Server Visibility/Matchmaking Issue (low player count regions)
Edit: Matchmaking (via the multiplayer tab) is currently horrendous in low player count regions. Players are scattered across different games/disbanded after a game ends. This often results in players being thrown into empty lobbies which are populated mostly by bots. This is especially an issue in regions that have a relatively low number of players. Portal is NOT a good alternative because the Portal servers have a much lower tickrate (30 Hz). Also, not all servers hosted on Portal are visible on the Portal server browser, and understandably so, because the browser would otherwise be cluttered. The problem is that players on South African servers struggle to find portal games because there is no option to select Africa as a search region. Please fix the portal visibility issue and the matchmaking. Edit 2: There are enough players in the low player count regions for full games. It's just that the current matchmaking algorithm is unnecessarily splitting those players into multiple games Dice plzzzSolved3.6KViews71likes101CommentsPlease add ConsoleOnly Crossplay (PS5+Xbox) PC players ruin the balance and fun
‼️LEAVE LIKES FOR REACH‼️ Hi EA / DICE team, I’d like to raise an issue that many console players are facing right now in Battlefield 6. The current cross-play system forces console users (PS5 + Xbox) into lobbies with PC players, and it’s honestly ruining the experience for many of us. Here’s why: Mouse and keyboard players have a big advantage in aim and reaction speed. There are still too many cheaters on PC, which makes fair play impossible. When we disable cross-play, we can only match within one platform (Xbox-only or PS-only) What we’re (Discord community) asking for: Please add an option for “Console-only crossplay” — where PS5 and Xbox players can play together without any PC players in the pool. This would keep matchmaking healthy while ensuring a fair and enjoyable experience for everyone using controllers. This feature has been requested by a huge part of the community, and it would really improve the balance and fun of the game. Thank you for listening — we love Battlefield, and we just want fair and competitive matches for all console players.. Best regards. TypowyNPC.. ‼️LEAVE LIKES FOR REACH‼️1.5KViews53likes58CommentsHardcore XP REMOVED
Hello fellow soldiers! After playing more than 60 hours in the game, I was fully glad that in Battlefield 6 we could play in Hardcore modes and obtain full XP, as I prefer this experience to normal matches, as in normal matches, soldiers seem to be sponges. But today, as I wanted to join a game, I saw that now we only will have the 150% XP at the end of the game. Please this must be changed!! I prefer the hardcore experience to my normal playruns, as I feel deeper into the game. Just please, EA, bear in mind that this is not an XP exploit; it is just an official game mode made for real Battlefield lovers. Thank you all.Solved2.6KViews43likes41CommentsAnother frustrating PORTAL change!(8-20 players to start)
They've made another unpleasant change... now, to play without bots with full experience, you need 20 people to start the server, which is unrealistic! Because in practice, it looks like- you start the server and wait, alone or with friends, at least an hour for just 10 people to join! and you still have to wait doing nothing for another 10 players... Now, to even play with bots and start the server, you need 8 players! Which is also unrealistic because many people don't want to play with bots! Congratulations on the idiotic changes DEVS. First, you ruined the helicopter, now it's PORTAL! You haven't touched anything important to fix the game since the release, you're just completely ruining this game. Now even create portal server is impossible because capacity is inflated by bot farm servers that nobody plays because it needs 8 players to start and they don't even take them down!even if you're lucky to create 1 after 1h you will get server in China or Africa always with 150 ping! EA/DICE give us full experience on servers where there are no bots included Custom Portal so people won't farm experience for free! and let servers start from 1-2 players because nobody likes to wait in a lobby doing nothing. If someone really loves to play with bots ,make it like is now - 8 players minimum ,so they will find people fast!Solved2.6KViews36likes64CommentsBroken PvZ Heroes server
Since PvZ Heroes stopped being updated, the game's online servers have stopped working properly when the game is in languages other than English. I am Brazilian, and when I try to play multiplayer, it simply gives a connection error or doesn't find a match. However, as I said before, if I change the language on my phone to English and consequently in the game, it works normally, meaning it's a problem/bug with the servers. Examples attached: . This problem is very significant because it makes multiplayer useless for any player who doesn't speak English, and it's extremely tiring to have to change the phone's language to play. The game has been updated again, we have a new ranked mode, but even so, these serious problems persist... Even though it's not necessary, my phone is a Samsung S25, a good recent phone, reinforcing that the problem is in the game itself. Please look into this and fix it as soon as possible, you are losing many players!Request to Bring Back the Beloved Game “Village Life”
Dear EA Team, I hope this message finds you well. I’m writing as a long-time fan of Village Life, a game that touched the hearts of many players around the world. As you have acquired Playdemic, the original developer of the game, we believe you now hold the legacy of this beloved title. Like thousands of others, I have incredibly fond memories of building families, growing villages, and watching generations flourish. Village Life stood out with its emotional depth, peaceful gameplay, and unique generational system—something we haven’t quite found in other games since. Even years after its removal, the community remains active—sharing screenshots, nostalgic memories, and hoping for its return. There are countless social media groups and forum threads filled with people who would wholeheartedly support a remaster or revival of the game. We understand that re-releasing a retired title is a major decision. However, the demand is real and the love for this game has only grown stronger with time. Whether it's a refreshed mobile version, a limited-time release, or even a spiritual successor, we’d be thrilled to see Village Life live on in some form. Thank you for taking the time to read this message and for carrying the torch of a game that meant so much to so many of us—not just as a game, but as a cherished part of our lives. Warm regards, Iremnur A lifelong Village Life fan3.6KViews32likes22CommentsAdd a Profanity Filter for BF6
Battlefield 6 is a brilliantly designed multiplayer game…even better than BF4 or BFV which is tough to beat. The only drawback I have found is when the f-word is yelled out by the in-game character each time they’re “knocked” and ask to be revived. Yelling an f-bomb every time is just unnecessary, and it doesn’t add to the gameplay experience whatsoever. I realize the game rating allows it, but that doesn’t mean its use is beneficial. I would only ask that EA look into adding a profanity filter to remove these profane phrases for those thousands/millions of fans that would enjoy the game that much more without it. But for those that enjoy the profanity…keep it in.3KViews30likes31CommentsUpdated: NHL Needs a Year Pass With PC Release – The Model That Out-Earns HUT
NHL should drop the outdated annual release with trickled out features and move to a Year Pass model that updates all season across PlayStation, Xbox, and PC. One yearly payment, not monthly. Crossplay. Weekly updates and three big drops tied to the hockey calendar. Franchise and Be A Pro finally grow because there’s no yearly reset. Money Talk: Why Year Pass Beats HUT Assumptions Year Pass price 99 dollars Base case assumes 1.2 to 1.3 million Year Pass buyers Conservative case assumes 600 thousand Year Pass buyers Seasonal Pass is three drops at 20 dollars each per buyer These figures are illustrative and separate from HUT, which continues Base case, conservative math Year Pass subs 118 to 130 million Seasonal Passes three by twenty 21 to 24 million Creator Marketplace cosmetic mods broadcast packages goalie masks 15 million Team Partner Packs licensed intros songs jerseys 4 to 6 million Esports and sponsors 5 to 8 million Total 163 to 183 million before any HUT spend Conservative case Year Pass subs 59 to 60 million Seasonal Passes three by twenty 12 million Creator Marketplace 7 million Team Partner Packs 2 to 3 million Esports and sponsors 3 to 4 million Total 83 to 86 million before any HUT spend HUT continues as a primary driver. If current HUT brings in roughly 100 to 150 million on its own, the Year Pass model adds a new guaranteed revenue stream on top. In the base case it likely exceeds the annual model before counting HUT, and in the conservative case it meaningfully supplements HUT. Instead the game stays alive through the entire off season. NHL Draft. A full authentic draft experience in June with cutscenes draft boards prospect interviews and trade chatter. Most first round prospects are face scanned and in the game at release with updates for the new class added immediately after. Free agency and off season moves. In July live updates roll out for big signings and trades. Studio panels and commentary debate roster moves like TSN or NHL Network. Training camps and rookie showcases. September brings prospect tournaments pre season camp battles and cutscenes around players making or missing the team. Season kickoff buzz. The NHL and NHLPA marketing push in October ties into the game. New intros presentation updates and live content drops make it feel like a fresh new season starting not just a stale roster update. This way fans stay hooked all summer. Franchise players immerse themselves in the league calendar. Be A Pro players live through the draft and free agency drama. Online GMs in Connected Leagues negotiate and trade through the off season. When the puck drops in October the game already feels hot with buzz from real world hockey. For the first time NHL does not just feel like a video game. It feels like being inside hockey twelve months a year. Why This Works for EA Guaranteed revenue. Every player must renew each year. PC adds new markets. Even 300 thousand PC subs equals about 27 to 30 million extra at 99 dollars. Offline depth improves retention. Franchise and Be A Pro players stick around longer and are more likely to try HUT. No cracks or free play. License validation with offline tokens controls piracy while respecting legit offline users. HUT strengthened. Bundled cosmetics and event rewards increase engagement without breaking the economy. Bottom Line This model makes more money than the annual release alone brings in new fans through PC and finally delivers the complete hockey game. EA wins with guaranteed revenue a bigger player base and a stronger HUT. Fans win with full customization mods offline depth and no more resets. This is how NHL stops feeling like a side project and starts leading sports gaming again.2.4KViews22likes55CommentsPlay PvE or PvP: Solo Start with Bots
This thread is for the person who is tired of matchmaking. For the person who is tired of joining rounds mid-game. For the person who is tired of having their party break at the end of matches and needing to leave games and recreate their party with their friends. For the person who is tired of playing attacker or defender over and over. For the person who is tired of playing maps in a random order. For the person who misses options and game modes that used to be in Battlefield games. For the person who is tired of sweats, or for the person who doesn't mind sweats. Every one of these experiences can be hosted and started with just one person. There is no need to queue up and wait for 4, 12, or 20 players to join. Each experience can be enjoyed with no other humans or as an experience that is full with only humans. Each one will fill with bots, as necessary, and then the bots will be replaced as humans join. You can either search for the experiences using the titles provided, or search for the experience code listed (the easier method). Battlefield Owners: "Casual Conquest..." : Solo-start (of course!) large scale conquest that is a faithful reproduction of the real thing, except with the ability to play against bots and level up your skill. Vehicles respawn quickly to get you back in the action. Bots will be replaced by humans, as humans join, but a minimum of 24 bots total will always be present, to give that casual feel. ZH6YV "Night Conquest..." : Three conquest experiences like the previous, but meant to give the perception of night gameplay. One is dark and blue, to mimic a full moon night as best as possible with the tools available. Another has a green NVG effect applied to make it brighter and make enemies easier to see. The third experience has IRNV (thermal) enabled the entire time. Dark (moonlit) mode: ZMQMZ NVG (toggle on) mode: ZMBXX IRNV (infrared white hot) mode: ZNT41 "Winter Conquest..." : Just like Casual Conquest, but all the maps are played in the blowing snow. ZGQ1G "Dust Storm Conquest..." : Just like Casual Conquest, but all the maps are played in a giant eerie dust storm. ZVCK7 "Heat of Battle..." : A bright and saturated version of conquest where a variety of colored flares appear each time someone spawns, kills, dies, or takes damage. This allows you to have the normal fun experience but also see and appreciate the battle playing out around you. It creates a broad heat map of activity; keep moving if you don't want to give away your position. ZTBJ1 "Large Vehicle TDM..." : Classic conquest maps with vehicles and everything, but no objectives. The only objective is to get to the top of the scoreboard, be on the winning team, have a sweet KDR, or have a killer streak. Bots backfill to maintain 26 players per team. ZMSS7 "Cairo Chaos..." : Seige of Cairo with a new twist. One street. One objective. 28 vs 28. A ton of cover has been added, plus a couple buildings for snipers to oversee the battlefield. Use of ladders to increase verticality and sustain the crazy number of players is encouraged. ZPQ25 "Hardcore Team Deathmatch - Small Maps - Bot Fill" : A rotation of small infantry maps with Hardcore settings. Experience the experience that EA forgot how to provide. Tons of fun and action! YKBXU Free to Play: "Little Bird TDM..." : A TDM server where the primary weapon is the Little Bird. The bots move around, fly, and don't just stand in one spot and wait for you to kill them. Players spawn randomly in empty Little Birds up to half the map away, or designated spawn points, in order to keep spawns unpredictable and reduce issues with spawn killing. ZTPWV "REDSEC - Free 2 Play - Casual Conquest...": Casual conquest for people who haven't purchased BF6. Bots will be replaced by humans, as humans join, but a minimum of 24 bots total will always be present, to give that casual feel. ZUCXE "REDSEC - Free 2 Play - Winter Casual Conquest...": Same as above, but in the blowing snow. ZUDCQ "REDSEC - Free 2 Play - Night Casual Conquest...": Same as casual conquest, but with a moonlight affect. ZUDD5 "Golf Course - King of the Hill - Clubhouse" : One objective at the top of the hill at the club house, with each side spawning on either side of the club house hill. Attackers try to advance up the hill and take control of the clubhouse, while defenders try to pick them off. Spawns are naturally protected by the map layout, with some additional protection provided. A sniper outpost is added in the form of a broken highway nearby. Hardcore: Z6ZFK Standard core: ZAEF4 "REDSEC - Team Deathmatch" : Golf Course, Tech Sector, and Marina map rotation of Team Deathmatch. Golf Course features the same design you see above. Deathmatch AI has a purpose and you will see them on a mission. Infantry-friendly vehicles are provided. Hardcore: Z3Q8X Standard core: Z91ZJ "Golf Course - Custom Bots - Infantry Conquest" : 20 v 20 infantry conquest at golf course with many objectives in close proximity. This is what we used to call "conquest small". This is the chaos some people crave. It is essentially "King of the Hill" described above, except with 4 more objectives. Hardcore: ZC34V Standard: ZC2RY "Friends vs Friends F2P TDM with Team Switching" : 20 vs 20 TDM to play against your friends. Bots can be turned off. Each spawn area has a sign you can interact with in order to switch to the other team, or turn bots on or off. Host it with a password if you don't want randoms to join. ZG383 "Friends vs Friends F2P Infantry Conquest with Team Switching" : 20 vs 20 conquest small at golf course to play against your friends. Bots can be turned off. Each spawn area has a sign you can interact with in order to switch to the other team, or to turn bots on or off. Host it with a password if you don't want randoms to join. ZGGTZ Please, if you are only looking for a PvE experience -- alone or with friends -- host the experiences with a password so that you can play with as many friends as you want, instead of kicking unwanted players who randomly join. Being kicked for randomly joining someone's hosted experience is not a good feeling. Note: "Free to Play" is subject to EA's wishes. Free-to-play experiences are hosted on REDSEC maps which were provided to players for free, but EA could revoke free-to-play access of those maps at any time. Additionally, amount of XP awarded and whether weapon unlocks or challenge progression is awarded is completely at the will of EA. Here are some very short demo videos. YouTube: NVG Demo YouTube: Conquest at Night and Bots being a Menace YouTube: Custom Golf Coarse Map Layout YouTube: Conquest Bot Play Go easy on me with the last one. My piloting was awful, but the purpose is to see that bot teammates jump in as gunner, are helpful, will heal, revive, and throw down ammo, and the bots keep activity going around the entire map. Thanks to utilizing these experiences, my piloting is now much better. Here are some images. Thank you for your time! ... oh... and we are all learning together! Ask for help or share your expertise. We all need eachother!2.7KViews21likes43CommentsVillage Life ; Childhood Game
I did some research and saw that EA bought Playdemic. I'm here to ask -- or practically beg EA to bring back a childhood game I and many others absolutely enjoyed, 'Village Life'. If even one person can see this and mention it to their higher ups I'd be so grateful. I severely enjoyed and miss this game. If there's another way I can contact EA and ask whether they would bring back such a classic, please let me know.Solved1.1KViews21likes15Comments
