Mass False Bans for “Balance Transfer” on PC
Throwback to 24.12.25, when EA’s automated detection system flagged thousands of PlayStation accounts for “balance transfer.” After 8–10 hours, they fixed the issue and unbanned everyone with a single click. Everyone thought the problem was resolved, the Wildcards promo continued, and the money kept flowing. Now, three weeks later, guess what’s happening on PC? Exactly the same thing that happened on Christmas Eve. Multiple accounts in my community have been banned over the span of just two days. Casual players, traders — you name it. I even tested the issue myself by hopping onto unused accounts, trading a few cards, and playing a couple of Rivals games. And guess what? After about 10 hours of normal gameplay, I got banned for literally no reason. We didn’t sell coins. Most of us didn’t use any external web app add-ons or bots. Just regular Weekend League gameplay with some trading on the side to improve our teams — literally using the in-game market as intended. My friends and I did some research to figure out what might have caused this. We reviewed the cards we bought and sold, as well as our profits and losses. Across all 14 accounts, there was exactly one common card purchased on every single account: Ibanez Winter Wildcard. The point of this post is to make this issue public and hopefully get it noticed by someone at EA. Many people have lost their time, money, and nerves. EA Help’s policy is based almost entirely on automated responses, so when you try to appeal a ban, you’re stuck resending the same message only to get rejected by a bot 24 hours later. It’s incredibly frustrating. I've already made a post on Reddit and X both got quite a big attention, but still no action by EA. So please, if you’re in the same situation, upvote this post. THIS ISSUE IS NOT ONLY IN RUSH!!!! Hello EA team, This issue has been ongoing for a long time, especially since you introduced RUSH mode into the game. It may sound complicated, but this is the reality: The problem has gotten much worse since last year, due to the major changes to the pitch size, angles, zoom height (now much higher), and the dynamic camera switching in RUSH. The issue is not only inside RUSH itself, but how the camera settings now affect the general gameplay experience in all other modes like Rivals or Squad Battles. In other words, the pitch changes, dimensions, and camera focus from RUSH also influence other Ultimate Team matches. The biggest factor: the camera. This is visible in player handling, first touch, passing, turning, and body orientation – which suddenly glitch when attacking near the goal. On top of that, gameplay is clearly different when pressing the camera focus button (PS5: touchpad, Xbox: “view/screen” button). Just like in RUSH, it switches focus from player to full pitch. The problem is that this function collides with and damages gameplay in other FUT modes, even when it’s not visually obvious – inputs and outputs change in a very noticeable way. Key observations: Passing and shooting reach: pressing the button alters reach drastically. Long passes: sometimes too short even with high power, or too long after switching focus. Short passes: can either hit a nearby opponent or suddenly fly 20 meters down the pitch. Shooting: Looks like long-distance shots (30–40m) even when standing just 15m from goal. Dribbling: The ball stays further from the foot, easier to lose. Defending: Tackling timing breaks due to “long focus” stretching the pitch. Narrow vs. Long focus: Narrow focus: more responsive short passes, tighter dribbling, tackles feel magnetic. Long focus: smoother look, faster flow, but unresponsive, with exaggerated animations. This creates imbalance: players who use the long focus gain unfair advantages (gliding movement, stronger long shots, faster pass execution). Camera setting collision (important): The collision is not only between RUSH and FUT modes – it also occurs between different in-game camera settings themselves. Switching between “Tele,” “Rush broadcast,” and others causes zoom/focus conflicts. These trigger the same gameplay inconsistencies (passing range, shooting, dribbling, tackling). Players can even meet in matches with different active camera focuses, which makes gameplay unequal. How to reproduce: Play one RUSH match on Rush Broadcast camera. Enter any FUT match (Rivals, Squad Battles, etc.). Use the camera focus button (PS5: touchpad, Xbox: “view/screen”). From here, the glitch activates permanently. Conclusion: The integration of RUSH camera logic into other modes has broken gameplay. It affects balance (passes, shots, dribbling, defending), input/output consistency, and the entire FUT experience. This issue used to be limited to RUSH/Rush Broadcast(and other rush cam's) , but now it extends further due to zoom changes, pitch dynamics, and coding mismatches (e.g., player distance vs. keeper is registered incorrectly). It’s disappointing to see such a core feature left unresolved, and I believe this has already cost EA many players who cannot accept a game that feels this inconsistent. Please can something be done about players quitting the game when they're losing and the opponent does not get the win. I play online Seasons and almost every game the opponent quits when I am in a winning position. They either wait till 80+ minutes to quit or if they're losing by a big scoreline, they will quit the game immediately and I will not get the win nor will there be a record to show I played that opponent. Sometimes they will cheat by pausing the game, do something to quit and a message will show "you have lost connection to your opponent..." Sometimes the disconnection will be immediately after you score (almost instantly) and you will not get the win and there will be no record of that game. And finally, they also cheat by stop playing after you score. The game will restart from the centre circle and the opponent will not move at all, then after approximately a minute you will lose connection to your opponent and not get the win etc. The level of frustration this causes when people are doing it almost every game is immense and I will not play online Seasons anymore until this issue is fixed. Many games i can't even access the team tactics, im completely locked out, AND i can't make assignments EVER, they reset as soon as i enter a match making me have women on corners to defend and stuff. This is getting really annoying and costing me so many games it's crazy, they need to **bleep**ing fix this im loosing my mind, have been in contact with ea help, last time i was in que for 7 hrs and didn't even get to talkC:\Users\Algip\Desktop\He made subs.png to anyone. I might be confused here but after the update are we not suppose to get the win if our opponent quits at 0-0 or at any point the game is drawn? it happened twice now during rivals where my opponent quit but I didn’t not get the win or get any points in rivals to progress. Opponent gets a goal in the 65min and quits at 1-1 but I didn’t get the win, now my opponent quit at the start of the game at 0-0 and I still didn’t get the win….am I missing something?FC 26 FACE SCAN/UPDATE

These players are becoming more popular and important for their clubs and national teams, and having real face scans would greatly improve realism and authenticity in the game. I’m posting this in the hope that someone at EA Canada sees it and considers looking into the current matchmaking system in Online Friendlies. I’ve been playing FIFA since 1995. I’m 35 now, and I’ve bought and played every version since then, including every iteration of Ultimate Team since FIFA 09. I only say that to make it clear I’m not new to the game. I’ve been with it for over two decades, so I’d like to think my feedback carries some weight. Every year, the gameplay changes. Sometimes for the better, sometimes not, but I’ve accepted that as part of the experience. Unlike many players, I don't complain about input lag, scripting, or DDA. I used to grind Weekend League every weekend until I realised my mental health wasn’t worth the stress. These days, I just play to complete objectives and earn rewards. That means Rush, Squad Battles, Online Friendlies, and the occasional Rivals match. Since I barely touch Rivals, I’m currently in Division 8. This week, I logged on to try and complete the TOTS Premier League Cup and earn the Honourable Mentions Mateta card. On Tuesday night, I played 9 games - lost every single one. I messaged each opponent afterward to ask what Rivals division they were in. Every reply I got said Division 3 or higher. Last night, I gave it another go. Played 14 more games, won 4, and lost 10. So that’s 23 games with only 4 wins. And that brings me to the real issue: matchmaking in Online Friendlies is completely unbalanced. I get that it’s supposed to be based on whether you finish matches and your win/loss ratio, but whatever the system is doing, it’s not working. When I load into a match, I expect to play someone close to my level, maybe slightly better or slightly worse. That makes for a balanced game where both players have a fair shot. But right now? I’m constantly being paired with elite-level players who completely wipe the floor with me. Some matches ended 6–1, 9–0, 5–0, it’s not even close. And honestly, it’s exhausting. After a long day at work, I want to unwind with a game I’ve loved most of my life. But lately, every session leaves me feeling worse. I’m not saying I need to win all the time, but if I’m losing 10+ games in a row, the fun is completely gone. Skill-based matchmaking in Online Friendlies is not working and needs serious attention going into FC26. TL;DR: Lifelong FIFA player here. Online Friendlies matchmaking in FC25 is totally broken.
