Elf Game Pack
i know the last Game Pack was a Werewolve one so if the team do decided to create a Game Pack later this year, other versions deserves to have them first but a few Game Packs later we do need an another occult Occults in order: Ghost, Aliens, Vampires, Mermaids, Spellcasters, Werewolves and (soon to be) Fairies that's where Elf occult comes in Elf never ever appeared in The Sims franchise so i'd like to change that i saw an idea which gives me the inspiration to do mine and one of them is an Elf occult and i agreed it was never been done before Another Occult idea thread | EA Forums - 11277683 and i was asking ChatGPT about some dancing ideas and one of the pack ideas mentioned Elf so that's all the more reasons why i decided to create this pack idea (this time as a Game Pack rather than an Expansion Pack, especially since this other occult called "Fairies" is gonna come out called "Enchanted By Nature" in less than a month, and Game Packs feels more complete since the focuss is completely based on a occult, 2 reasons why it's fair to have them as a Game Pack) at first glance Elf might look like normal sims except their pointy ears just like some occult Elf have its own needs (its in this link so i won't copy that one here before others accuse me of stealing someone elses ideas) this person mentioned a couple of things in this link but i do stumble into this when i asked for a dancing pack👇👇 Sims 4: Enchanted Dance Pack Theme: Fantasy-meets-dance — great for storytelling & occult Sims. For the Elvenkind shall rise—or fall—by your legacy.” ☝️these are the ones i stumbled into☝️ i don't know which version the team wants to work on a pack based on Elf but it will be completely new in The Sims franchise since it was never done in the earlier games before as for the screenshot ones: it will be a brand new occult if the team add the Elf in the game and in my opinion rather a Game Pack than an Expansion Pack (2 reasons i've mentioned from above) thumbs up for the longer hairs instead of half long hairs with the Elves based pack💪167Views3likes6CommentsStrangerville: Shadows in the Dust | A Manicpot8to LP
Something's off in strangerville, but no one's saying it out loud. The air buzzes with secrets, the neighbors act strange, and the military presence is just a little too strong for a sleepy desert town. This story follows three threads converging: A secretive base with an agenda no one's willing to explain. Gloria, a newcomer with nothing left to lose and a knack for noticing what others ignore. And Bo, a loner who came to find the truth while hiding a secret of her own. Each character is drawn here for different reasons. Some came seeking answers. Others? Planned only to pass through. But no matter the reason, they all stay... because something won't let them leave. All this unfolds across my custom Strangerville builds, and each update will reveal more of the mystery. Feel free to follow along, and I look forward to reading everyone's thoughts and theories! Next up: Meet the residents. Not all of them are what they seem. The expansion pack Businesses & Hobbies, should allow us to do more with pets and animals. I would love it if we could run our own pet salon. Sims with pets could ask for a certain hairstyle or give our sim the ability to freely customize however they like. For example, painting on the pets using the paint mode in CAS or letting our Sim surprise us with an option called "Freestyle" or "Freestyle CAS" for paint mode. Our Sim could learn new haircuts for each animal separately; the more we work on a certain animal, the more we will unlock for that animal. Sims with pets could also ask for certain grooming they want done for their pet besides fur styling. Some options could be bathing, de-shedding, ear and teeth cleaning, cutting nails, and brushing. Our Sims who run a pet salon would have to buy the right tools. Maybe cheaper tools don't work as well, and more expensive ones work best. The same would go for pet bathing stations and grooming tables. New CAS options could be grooming aprons and paint stencils for pets, kinda like the tattoos for Sims. New fur options and clothing options for pets as well. A new skill our Sims could learn could be Pet Grooming or Fur Stylist. That's all my ideas! Thanks for reading <319Views1like1CommentWhich EP's, GP's and SP's would you...
...Remove from your game if you had to, and why those ones? So, because my computer is neither the newest nor the best, it's been getting to the point lately that the regular The SIms 4 updates were requiring me to uninstall and remove other things from my computer, in order to stay updated. That, along with the fact that I found I wasn't crazy about some of the things added into the game with some of the EP's and GP's that I bought and had installed; made me do some serious thinking. SO, I decided to uninstall my Sims 4 game completely, then reinstall it but CHOOSE WHICH "add ons" I wanted to have in the game this time around. (I ALSO wanted to make sure I'd have room on my computer for the new "Enchanted By Nature" expansion pack coming out July 10th! I am SO excited about that one!) Here's the list of the ones I choose NOT to have downloaded/added into my game: Eco Lifestyle Expansion Pack. Get To Work Expansion Pack. High School Years Expansion Pack. Home Chef Hustle Stuff Pack. Star Wars: Journey To Batuu Game Pack. Lovestruck Expansion Pack. Snowy Escape Expansion Pack. StrangerVille (I think this one was a Game Pack?). My Wedding Stories Game Pack, For Rent Expansion Pack. Cats & Dogs Expansion Pack. Discover University Expansion Pack. The list of the EP's, GP's, SP's and kits I chose to have downloaded/added back into my game again, is simply TOO long for me to list. Suffice it to say I own all the EP'S, most of the GP'S and several of the SP'S as well as some kits! LOL! I find that I am NOT MISSING the packs of all types that I first listed, as choosing not to have them added back into my game. But I know there's some game features as well as much of the CAS and Build/Buy that I AM missing. I waver back and forth between wanting to add at least some of the ones that I chose not to have added back into my game again, for that reason alone. But...I don't think that ultimately, I will. Maybe a few, I've not decided...SEE how I waver back and forth, gah! LOL Again! So, my very long winded post is just basically asking; If YOU had to uninstall your game and then reinstall and choose which packs and kits you wanted to add back in and which to forgo (Mostly because of lack of room on your computer but also because you found that you didn't like some things about some of those packs)...Which ones would YOU choose to not add back into your game again and why? I look forward to reading everyone's replies and maybe sparking some discussion on the topic matter!167Views2likes12CommentsLast exception with no mods
I have no mods in my game currently and receiving a last exception. I do play with mods but I took them out to test as the game hasn't been loading past the play option. Removed my mod folder and immediately received a last exception that is attached. It just continues to load. Will not load the game at all. Attached is the last exception. Please help.Banking System, when?
Any pack, expansion, game, or stuff, could come with some kind of banking system! I never keep track of what is my teens' part-time job money and their parents; never. Yes, there's mods for this and I use them sometimes, but I stil think it should just be in game. If nothing else, this game is centered around the simoleon. From a piggy bank, penny jar, suitcase of cash to a bank account, loans, trusts, and credit cards, the household funds can still exist [as this is how you'd access build/buy] but it'd add options to either the item bought in live-mode or an option to set "pay with" on the sim to "pay with" my card, credit card, checks [for elder sims?], simoleons [maybe even a wallet/purse in inventory that works like the backpack and has its own inventory for loose simoleons, a debit/credit card, id, etc], or pay with house funds [possible arguments for adults and punishments/chastising if kids and teens don't ask permission and are caught] similar to the utensil setting. It'd come with a Bank Venue: one of the first things you'll want to do in a new save is set up a bank account - transfer household funds to the account and now you have the ability to pay bills from phone or computer [but if you don't, your game continues as is, mailing simoleons to pay bills] ++Having an account - set how much goes to whichever kind of account: checking, savings, business funds, household from royalties, paychecks, and businesses. Ability to create a separate crypto account [I guess, since it's in B&H], invest in stocks for non business sims that works better, donate to charity from accounts, student loans would go through the bank, set up allowance for kids with account access and trust funds, services can be paid from account or maybe pay the handyman in cash or in plumbing parts or a combination of both. ++Ability to take out loan or open credit card - which will charge interest and will call if your behind... maybe even show up if you took a loan from shady "bank" [a shark] or send the "nicer" repo man if you took the loan from a more legit establishment. ++Maybe even make this a possible business [though who wants to run a bank] - where sims will come and open accounts/trusts, take out loans, and your job is keeping their money safe; once your vault reaches a certain amount of money you'd need to find ways to protect it... by "send it off" via lending, investing, or offshore securing, if not... you'll frequently attract thieves. shrug. +++Operations and Required Items - desk staff, teller staff, security staff, with atms, safes, lockboxes, vaults needed on the lot to have a functioning bank, which will entice criminals & burglars [which of course can be a setting to be turned off]. +++Banks aren't safe - A - popups can occur off-lot alerting to thieves if you [1] have security staff or [2] an alarm system and they may be thwarted OR, if the thieves are bold, ON LOT THEFT, if [1&2] you have no security/alarm, [3] they fight you and you lose [need 8+fitness?], and/or [4] don't have a fully upgraded vault room... well... you're gonna have some angry account-holders or be in the negatives if you're not wealthy enough. Maybe forced to close or file for forgiveness to wipe slate clean [/if insured]? +++Banks aren't safe - B - chance of failed protection - bad/good loans, bad/good investments, and pirates/gangs attacking armored truck drivers or ships with your money will have chance cards popups to lose or make money. [Though sometimes I want to time a popup, so maybe a less urgent "check-in on funds" option from computer or phone which may result in a "smooth-sailing" report] ++Further gameplay: +++Shady sims can now heist a bank [active?], alone or with criminal partners [they can fight the security [5/6+ fitness], disarm the alarm [6+ logic, 5+ programming, 6+ handiness, one or all?] and break into personal safes [3/3/3], atms [4/4/4], bank safes/lockboxes [5/5/5], non-upgraded small vault [7/7/7], fully upgraded small vault [8/8/8], not upgraded large vault [9/9/9] and fully upgraded large vault [10/10/10] with of course payouts according to object and/or at random +++Criminal sims, if not already shady will have rabbithole and active heist capabilities, [both can click on vendors/stalls to rob or intimidate <- this just makes sense regardless of banking system]. +++Once placed on any lot, items such as atms, safes, vaults, even dressers, [couches, shelves, clocks?], & laundry baskets come with a chance of being pickpocketed or robbed autonomously by applicable NPC sims [shady, criminal, bad-mannered, mean, evil, etc] and yes, you can call cops on them, fight them, or [if 4R] blackmail them. +++Wallets/Purses could also come with a risk of being pickpocketed autonomously and/or robbed if left out of inventory [teens could take their parents card and get in trouble if caught or they realize] ++All ages gameplay - newborn to toddlers can be set as recipients of money in a will or trust fund, parents can get kids and teens their own youth accounts/card, give access to their debit/credit cards, set up allowance based on chores or grades, or the kids might just keep their money safe in a secret location in their dressers, a piggy bank, jar, book, antique clock, or in a couch cushion, and elders may prefer paying with checks [this causes longer buy and payment processes and slightly annoys teens and young adults] ++More for base game NPC Cop - arrest burglars/thieves/pickpocketers and if playing as criminal - chance to distract [7+ charisma], bribe [2k], or fight to get away [7+ fitness], or slip away [7+ mischief or 5+ handiness] . All of this doesn't NEED to be the main feature of a pack but a secondary draw and it will make tracking whoever's money easier for when splitting households, create bank gameplay for regular and schemer simmers, and create added challenge for sims who want a 350k house immediately without motherlode and don't mind the loan payments, on top of bills, and the possible consequences.79Views7likes7CommentsMissing Lots, Error Code 800
I've reached the point where I just can't play this game anymore, and honestly, it's pretty heartbreaking considering the time and money I’ve spent on this game . There’s something fundamentally wrong with it; it just doesn't work properly. I’ve gone through the process of starting about six different new games, expecting things to be different each time, but unfortunately, I keep running into the same issues. Every new game eventually becomes unplayable and begins in Willow Creek, and while the lot appears to be there initially, as soon as I try to visit it, it turns into an empty lot — no buildings, no sims, just an empty lot. The other lots, meanwhile, give me an 800 error code, which prevents me from visiting them altogether. It’s the same frustrating problem every single time, no matter what I do. I even try creating a new game, but the issue persists. Why is this happening? It’s especially confusing because, although the exclamation points indicating problems no longer show up, the underlying issues remain unresolved. I’ve gone to great lengths to troubleshoot: I started a complete fresh install of the game, deleted all my mods and custom content, removed households, and tried everything I could think of. Despite all that, just when things break a new expansion pack launches, and instead of fixing anything, I’m greeted with Hey, buy this new expansion so your game can break again. The expansion looks visually stunning, but honestly, that’s just superficial because the core game itself is simply not functional. It’s incredibly disappointing because I really wanted to enjoy this game, but at this point, it is completely broken and unplayable.New Careers
Now that we have the many packs and expansions like business, get to work and parent hood where kids loose their teeth and we have braces, etc. It would be nice e to see them add on knew career like nursery homes or dental offices and clinics for examples. You have fairies coming out so why not some new career opportunities.42Views3likes3Comments
