[CD] Pets don't eat from full bowls (Patch 1.69)
I fill my pets bowls and have a sim call the pets, the pets go to the bowl but do not eat from it. I have tried using different pet bowls and having them in different places but they still won't eat. I know Sims console is the most glitches game in the world, but I come to peace with that what I am not in peace with is having to buy expensive packs then having to buy them again so I have an old Xbox that runs every game slowly, of course one of them being Sims and occasionally it will crash or whatever but today was different. I noticed a few of my games werenāt loading so I decided to reset my Xbox and re-download my games again. I read out the sins and I noticed a lot of packs or missing. I uninstalled it and reinstall it again to make sure in a lot weāre still missing I checked, and it shows that I have to re-buy them again. I already spent hundreds of dollars on the game and youāre telling me I have to spend more absolutely not. I hope this reaches someone that can help me but for now I will not be supporting EA or anything that they do. They already took so much money from me.

Businesses & Hobbies shouldāve enhanced other gameplay (esp. Get to Work).
Iāll start this post by saying that while I love the Sims, I very much at times have a lot going on in life and therefore, I find I play Sims in bursts. There have been a lot of packs and kits coming out, and itās hard for me to get right into all the new content of a pack, so forgive me if Iām a little late sharing my disappointments with Businesses and Hobbies. That being said, Iām sure Iām missing so many things, as I spent sooooo long perfecting my build and then tried to play my business a few times and was so disappointed. So thereās probably a lot Iām missingā¦ With this pack, I thought I would finally be able to run a bakery/bookstore/cafe type of business, and after having played Get to Work, I thought that Businesses and Hobbies would have enhanced Get to Work features, and that they would be cross-compatible. After spending a lot of time building my Sims bakery and baking a ton of stuff, I have to say that this pack is so lacking and Iāve wasted so much time!!! only certain retail shelves work to display and sell goods, which really limits what can be sold and how things can be displayed. I would have thought any surface could have worked to display/sell goods. the retail freezer and food warmer from get to work donāt work in a businesses and hobbies store!! Sims will not come and freely buy from these items. Such a disappointment after spending so much time crafting items and stocking these items. I have to now change a lot of my business from this.. The ability to use the other coffee machines/espresso machines and stuff seem pretty limited in this pack- unless there is a way to incorporate them and actually sell product from them, kind of annoying! Like with the Bistro pack and Get to Work, I would have thought they would make a way to use all the coffee things in Businesses and hobbies. If i add a kettle or coffee maker then sims help themselves for free and dont order from the coffee bar from businesses and hobbies. Quite disappointing. the slots for the display cases are so frustrating when trying to place items. I wish they had better slotting options. Also, Often times I place the items and my sim canāt even interact with the food either (to add secret spice or decorate), it says she canāt access them. So everything has to be perfect before going in there (I guess that makes it super realistic but itās still annoying). why does the sweet treat display cases only come in one type of swatch- like why canāt there be different decorations ontop if I wanted to use them side to side? why canāt we restock sold items?!?! In get to work I liked the ability to see an empty shelf and interact with it and do a restock. In businesses and hobbies, do I seriously have to bake more goods, write more books, craft more goods? I canāt just do a quick restock if I wanted to?!?! the cash registers donāt work in businesses and hobbies and I find this so disappointing. Cash registers are so common in so many businesses and I liked interacting with them in get to work. Itās just so frustrating! sims arenāt coming into my business and buying anything!!!! They hover outside, rarely come in, and even with browse and buy items as the number one activity (and even tried it as the only activity), the game is so glitchy, thereās not a lot of sims spawned, and hardly anyone buys anything. This is so different from get to work. Why canāt we just run advertisements for the business? Why are sims not buying anything?! How come if I raise the price modifier at all, no one buys anything, and even after putting everything on a huge discount, sims arenāt buying anything?!?! if I put reading as an activity, for my cafe bookstore, thatās literally all they do and they leave books everywhere. WHY ARE THE BUSINESS BOOKSHELVES ATTACHED TO MY HOUSEHOLD BOOKSHELVES?! WHY ARE ALL THE FRIDGES IN SYNC?!? I want to store separate items in my sims business fridgeā¦why canāt we select a fridge as āpersonalā or ābusinessā?! my sim is constantly going to the business to use the sink (even when she is right next to her sink in her apartment), even when I designate all the sink types accordingly. Why canāt we select ābusiness sinkā for example. The same happens with the dishwashersā¦ When my sim bakes things in her business kitchen, instead of using the many counters available and free of clutter, she walks out into the businesses and puts things on the customer tables. Super annoying. it kinda goes without saying, but where the heck are the hobbies?! Iām sorry, I get it we got tattoos and pottery, but that doesnāt suffice a ābusiness AND hobbiesā pack. They could have added so many other hobbies and also upgraded and expanded features on other hobbies in the game already, such as crochet and knitting options, etc. I think it would have been MUCH better if we could choose price modifiers based on the shelves and displays rather than the whole store/have it tied to the entrance fee. What if I wanted one shelf of bestseller books to be more expensive, or one shelf of, idk like candles or goods or something to be āon saleā or as a āclearanceā for example. Itās stupid we canāt adjust the price modifiers individually for the shelves or displays. This would have made the game sooooo much more realistic. lastly, I havenāt been successful in being able to sell any of my duplicate baked goods (from that home hustle chef aspiration thing where it bakes two items that use premade ingredients). This has been an ongoing issue but surely I thought with a business focused pack they would have fixed that???? I will report back with further disappointments, Iām sure. And maybe Iām so late on the train that all of this has been said elsewhere, but I am just soā¦peeved. All that money spent and time spent, just to find out so many limitations. Honestly for the hype and the price point, I really think the Sims team needs to do so much betterā¦Sims 4 Pack Ideas (PLEASE)
Hi, I have two pack ideas I think would be a hit. One is dance. I remember this used to be an option in Sims 2. As a real life dancer, I loved this. A pack that includes dance studio options, a dance career (which would help with fame and be an aspiration or there could be a humble dance studio owner aspiration), and different genres beyond ballet (contemp, hip hop, tap, etc) would be a hit. You could even add dance hair styles and dance clothes. Next is a retirement pack for when Sims age. A random thing that bothers me is how Sims hair don't grey as they age, which I actually would appreciate but beyond that, I feel like its stagnant once they get older and having a pack where you can go to a retirement retreat or live in a retirement home or have vacation options and such would make me stay with that household a lot longer. I do hope this is actually considered but love this game regardless, thanks!
All of my Sims 4 content is missing (packs, kits-everything) Over $400
Hi. I'm reaching out because All of my Sims 4 content is missing from my library. (I'm also missing my Sims 3 content but my Sims 4 content cost me over $400. When I initially signed up for EA - moving away from ORIGIN as instructed, I had a little bit of problem setting it all up. But finally got it all installed. I had no issues playing. I stopped playing for a while and when I went to play again in March/April of 2023, I had to get help from y'all because all of my content was missing... similar to now. On Tuesday, October 7th, I went to play the Sims 4 & purchase Adventure Awaits only to find that NONE of my content was there. I was able to install base game Sims 4 but none of the additional content. I reported this to the team and I have not heard anything. My REPORT ID (for that day) is : Oaf2bb6e-477d-4ea6-86e3-1a5c890500d5 On my last saved game, dated 4/14/23, ("MY SAVED GAME 4", Riggins family, 11:00 pm on 4/14/23) you can see how many of the packs I used just in that game play. I really need help retrieving all of my Sims 4 content. It cost me way too much money to lose. Plus I have been playing sims for decades. Have been trying to purchase Adventure Awaits but it says itās āNot available for purchaseā and then when I look at the other packs theyāre not even there. Iāve tried everything I could think of- logging into EA on google and purchasing it there but even h the en it says not available for purchase. what do I do
