Pack that won't start even though the game screen says it was purchased.
I installed Sims4 from Steam. I was told that I could use the packs I purchased from EA even if I moved to Steam. As a result, the game screen says I purchased it and that I can use it if I install it, but when I look at Steam or at the EAapp, all I see is the words “Buy it” and I can't install it from anywhere. Because of this I can't use all the DLC packs. Where did my packs go? The first time I started up on Steam, a new account was created and linked to my New account, so I merged it with my old account. Could that possibly be the reason? Does this mean I have to repurchase all the packs?packs not showing
I've had a few packs for a couple years (city living, cottage living, cats & dogs, my first pet). I haven't been playing the past couple weeks and I opened the game only to find that my packs have completely disappeared- when I tried to load my game it says required.. and they're also aren't showing up in the purchase history, despite the fact that I did purchase them. I updated the game, repaired it a few times, and cleared cache in the EA app , but they're still not showing up. I really hope I can get the stuff back, because I paid money for it.Can we have a castle fantasy Game Pack?
I'm aware we have Castle Estate as kits but what if we can have a world with only castles in it instead of normal houses? We can have small shops, swimmingpool, a bar or cafe, a park and instead of rabbit-holes we can have buildings we can't change because it belongs to this certain building we can interract with (i rather have buildings we can interract with rather than rabbit-holes or buildings that's only there for decorations) We can have a museum that's centered on castles like maybe how the castles are made or something Not everyone is a pro at building castles and i'm one of these people so maybe it's usefull if we can have a world which is centered on castles as buildings only and it comes as a world I've thought about Expansion Pack but i realized it may be too small to make it an Expansion Pack unless you have ideas to make this work as an Expansion Pack and Game Packs doesn't come with personality traits and i have none for this pack idea either, it does comes with aspirations sometimes but i don't have any for this expansion pack idea On the survey ideas from last year it mentioned something about modern monarchy but i don't like the idea of that version, we need something unique but NOT this version of a pack idea, in my opinion it should be a spin-off for my taste My idea of a castle is none monarchy related based pack and more as a Game Pack rather than an Expansion PackSystem Requirements
I'm looking to upgrade to a new PC. My current one can't use all the expansions and game packs I'd like (I can't even use my cc anymore). I don't have much money, and I'm finding all the different processors and graphics cards very confusing. What do I need for CPU and GPU to run The Sims 4 with all expansions and a bunch of cc and mods?
The Sims 4 Crashing
I have no idea what the issue is. I have a gaming laptop that can handle just about anything. The specs are immaculate and i own just about every pack except Bantuu. I've taken out every single mod and custom content in my game and every save that i have just to make sure there weren't any corrupt files and it STILL CRASHED 💔. I've repaired the game over and over and it is still doing it. I'm starting to think it's just the sims game at this point. Is anybody else having this problem? If so can you please give me some advise or help? I don't even want to play the game anymore because i can't figure it out. Anything will help. Thank you!! ❤️Can't clear cache
All of my packs are saying "unowned", all of my purchase history is gone, and all of my playtime is gone. I've been trying to find a way to fix this and saw that clearing my cache on ea app might work but in every tutorial the app has three bars in the corner that you click on and it'll show "help", then you click clear cache or something like that. Mine does not have this and I've looked through literally everything and there is no where that I can clear my cache.School pack ideas
We have a school pack based on teenagers called "High School Years" and we kind of have a school for adult called "Discover University" but i want other versions aswell and one of them i made a topic based on little kids Here's the link: can we have a school pack based on children? | EA Forums - 11172051 I admit a few of them are already in one of the packs so these things with a ✅️ doesn't count (i created this topic by the time "High School Years" almost came out so i thought why not based on children?) i think a pack called "Elementary School Years" match with my ideas i think they should come with a british based world with this pack idea but i also want other school versions like maybe pre-teens that needs to get added and call it like "Middle School Years?" (we need a category between a child and a teen not only because of the school part but also because teens looks a lot like adults so it has a big age differences which is NOT realistic to me) Boarding school (can't think of any other than school uniforms and sleeping in a certain world only, i think it will be quite similair to "Discover University" you can't enter a house unless you sign up for it) The school we had in "The Sims 2" (basegame if not mistaken) you need to get an A+ to enter this type of school and you need to wear an uniform in this type of school and just like "The Sims 2" it should be rabbit holes (a bit similair to boarding school but different and smaller) i want a home schooling version since those exist and it became a popular thing during lockdown (i do think it should be an Game Pack instead of an Expansion Pack) and also it can be both for little kids and teens (and if pre-teens get added they should count this one too...infact pre-teens should be basegame just like infants and toddlers) edit: i just made homeschool pack idea in this link here home schooling game pack idea | EA Forums - 12109479 i also want some kind of a preschool for toddlers but unlike little kids (possibly preteen) and teenagers it should be optional for toddlers so it's not mandatory, i want the phone and/or computer option the parents can register the toddlers for preschool so toddlers can be with other toddlers from their age and have more existing skills options so they can learn (possibly a bit) faster i just made a toddlers pack idea and preschool is one of them on my list: can we have a toddler based pack? | EA Forums - 12111749 All these needs to come as a world if they're going to add this as an active school like "High School Years" did (well minus home schooling of course because you can do that in each sims worlds and same with a school we had in The Sims 2 with the uniform, i think both of them should be in a Game Pack WITHOUT a world) what do you think about school ideas on the packs?
Bundled Packs Question
Hi, so I purchased the Base game + Eco Lifestyle bundle used from GameStop.... however it didn't come with an activation key. Do The bundles not come with activation keys or did GameStop fumble? When I called them they couldn't find the activation key and instead gave me the phone number directly to EA offices which is clearly just a bot telling me to input my parties extension. otherwise, if there's no activation key, my console isn't auto starting this game or downloading. Can I get help or some advice? BC there's no other way to contact EA for support. There's no code on the inside cover, nowhere... and please forgive me for my ignorance BC I've not purchased a Sims Console disc since Sims 2 & recall the PC discs all having activation codes. Please help, as I purchased this used game 7 days ago from GameStop which is the limit to receive refunds on used items.
