Please reconsider The Sims 4 regional pricing in Ukraine — 70% price increase
Please reconsider The Sims 4 regional pricing in Ukraine — 70% price increase I would like to ask EA and Maxis to reconsider the current regional pricing of The Sims 4 DLC in Ukraine. Recently, the prices of The Sims 4 DLC on Steam in Ukraine were significantly increased across the catalogue. For example, The Sims 4 Get to Work increased from 999 UAH to 1699 UAH, which is an increase of approximately 70%. This is a very substantial increase for the Ukrainian market. I understand that EA may need to adjust prices due to currency fluctuations, inflation and changes in regional pricing recommendations. However, I believe the current Ukrainian prices should be reconsidered with the actual economic situation and purchasing power of Ukrainian consumers in mind. Ukraine is still experiencing a full-scale war, which has had a major impact on household incomes and expenses. Average wages and purchasing power remain significantly lower than in the United States and Western European countries, while the cost of essential goods and services continues to put considerable pressure on household budgets. At the same time, The Sims 4 has an unusually large amount of additional paid content. When prices increase across Expansion Packs, Game Packs, Stuff Packs and Kits simultaneously, the total cost of legitimately owning the game's content becomes extremely high relative to local incomes. This is particularly noticeable when comparing regional pricing. A price that may be reasonable for a consumer in a high-income country can represent a much larger financial burden for a Ukrainian player. I also believe that regional pricing should take into account the importance of keeping legitimate purchases accessible. I am not suggesting that piracy is justified — it isn't. However, when official content becomes disproportionately expensive compared with local purchasing power, some players may simply be unable to justify purchasing it legally. Fairer regional pricing could instead encourage more players to remain within the legitimate EA ecosystem and continue supporting the developers. I am therefore asking EA to review the current Ukrainian regional pricing and consider Ukrainian purchasing power, average income, the ongoing economic impact of the war, the difference between Ukrainian and Western markets, the cumulative cost of owning The Sims 4 DLC, and the importance of keeping legitimate purchases accessible. I am not asking for free DLC or special treatment. I am asking for regional pricing that reflects the economic reality of the Ukrainian market. The Sims 4 has a large and passionate community in Ukraine, and I hope EA and Maxis will consider reviewing these prices rather than simply applying the same pricing approach used for substantially wealthier markets. Thank you for taking the time to consider this feedback.2.1KViews145likes51Comments[AA] Missing Supervised Customer Role Criteria in Custom Venues/Getaways
There are multiple activities from small businesses recycled for custom venues and getaways such as "horses play and learn" "pets play and learn", etc. but there's no way to have the custom roles to actually be any of the pets or infants/toddlers. Please add this even if they don't spawn with caregivers. The whole point of Custom Venues is for us to decide how the lot functions.2KViews51likes36CommentsTheres nothing to do?
Why keep asking for feedback when you’ve listened to nothing that literally EVERY player has been begging for for years? You can’t even progress at your own pace, you finish all the boring easy challenges and have to wait for them to refresh the next day! Into the same soulless boring challenges on repeat! No story mode, fine. Didn’t listen to what anyone wanted and gave us an AI bot instead of pros, fine. But where are the game modes? Where is hall of meat? Where is skate? Where are death races? Where are any of the online MODES? Where is the mega park at lesst? Also regarding customisation why can’t we even get jewellery, tattoos, decide how to wear hats & hoods etc. everything we had on old skate games. The actual gameplay and physics is great but EVERYTHING IS MISSING!! Sorry but we waited 15 years for this game, this feels unacceptable.1.5KViews48likes31CommentsREQUEST: Calendar UI Changes
Table of Contents Clear-Cut Filtering Combine Add Event to Section Include Sulani Events Notification Toggle ADD Club Gathering SCHEDULE Vacation & PTO POST: IDEA: [S] Holiday Scope • Calendar UI Clear-Cut Filtering The useful Filter function of the Calendar is overshadowed by other more prominent features on the sidebar. To help make the Filter function more noticeable, how about using Calendar icons for the filter selection. This allows ease of convenience through one-click filtering. When clicked, each icon would toggle checked/unchecked, on/off, color/gray. Combine Add Event to Section If a player owns all the packs, the Calendar sidebar could list events for Holidays, Festivals, Weddings, Stay Overs, Vacations, Work Schedule - all on the same day, making for a very long sidebar of scheduled listings for that day. The Add Event options are found at the bottom of this (potentially long) sidebar list. Some event types have their own separate “Add” button, which affixes 4 more listings to the Calendar sidebar (ADD: Holiday, Event, Wedding Event, Stay Over). Instead of scrolling to the bottom of the events list, how about collecting all the “Add” buttons to a single sidebar element and move it to the top of the Calendar sidebar for convenience and better visibility. Use calendar icons as one-click Add buttons. Include Sulani Events Island Living comes with some great community events. However these events have no notifications on the Calendar. A Sim with the “Child of the Islands” Trait would very much appreciate being notified of these island events if they live outside of Sulani. Let’s add Sulani Events to the Calendar notifications and the Events filter. Notification Toggle Each Event listing has the option to Favorite it. But some events have weekly notifications that can become annoying. Depending on your played household, some events may not be relevant. An elder scientist with no teen children may not be interested in weekly notifications of Cheerleading Sports Day that comes with the High School Years expansion pack. Using the same function as the Favorite Event toggle, how about adding a Notifications toggle for each Event/Festival found below the Favorite toggle. If checked ON, then that household will receive notifications for that event. If checked OFF, those event notifications are muted. Default state: ON.2.1KViews41likes21CommentsSo Tired From Marrying Off My Unplayed Households
▪️Marriage: Sims should be able to marry autonomously, even if the player is not controlling their household. This would allow families to continue expanding without the player’s direct involvement. ▪️Divorce: Sims should be able to autonomously divorce if their relationship status changes. This would allow for more realistic family dynamics. ▪️Moving Out & Creating New Households: Teens and young adults should have the option to leave their households and create their own households, even without player intervention. This would allow Sims to continue to live their own lives, meet new Sims, and start their own families. ▪️Joining Another Household: Sims should be able to join other households, either through marriage or through other life changes. This could give rise to new family combinations and interactions. These additions would help make Neighborhood Stories more dynamic and allow Sims to live fuller lives without the player constantly managing every household. Sims could form relationships, start families, and grow old without needing direct control, allowing for organic development of family trees and more immersive storytelling. By adding these options The Sims 4 could bring a more realistic experience of life for all Sims, even those who are not being directly played. I got tired from marrying off my unplayed households... Also MC Command Center does that so I don't think this is hard to implement.2KViews38likes14CommentsRip Chips in new update
Why are the challenges back to giving only five rip chips per objective? When it was changed to 20 per, it made the smaller challenges actually worth it. Now there’s almost no point in doing any challenges since some boxes are over 400 rip chips 🤦♂️🤦♂️1.7KViews37likes52CommentsBecoming a Fairy- WAY too simple! (AND EVERYTHING ELSE, TOO!)
Watching James Turner play Enchanted by Nature. Fairies are ridiculously simple to become and then ridiculously overpowered. To become a fairy, you do a handful of simple steps that take 40 in-game minutes and you're set for life. Then you no longer have a Hunger or Bladder need ever again, and can use a single low-price fairy house object to fill all your needs whenever you want. So in just a few real world minutes any Sim can become basically permanently happy and all-powerful forever. What's the point of even playing the game then? You can buy an apothecary item for 20 simoleons that fills ALL your motives, removes ALL your negative moodlets, and fixes your balance. Enchanting a gnome to garden for you makes ALL your plants bloom INSTANTLY, and the gnome drops rare and expensive seed packets that can give you death flowers with literally no effort. None of this is balanced, this is all just cheating- there's no gameplay here, what are you doing? Why is none of this even attempting to be a video game anymore, this is all just play-around-whatever nonsense that completely destroys the GAME part of the game! -You get a seedling, either by...asking someone you just met to hand you one, or buying it on the computer -You plant the seed -You get a text box popup before planting the seed warning you that you're gonna summon mother nature IMMEDIATELY by doing so -The seed is placed on the ground, and sprouts instantly -The seed disappears and does not have to grow or anything -You drink a potion -You go swim in a pond and become a fairy Are you for real? This is worse than "Gather Motes" to become a spellcaster. There's no time investment whatsoever, there's no difficulty, you don't have to find the seed or do any quests or anything to get it, you literally ask for it (Or buy it on the COMPUTER? REALLY?) and you're a fairy within 40 seconds. This pack comes with another questing system, so why isn't something like this tied to quests? This occult requires a seedling and a plant, so why don't you have to prove your worth by successfully growing the plant? You're telling me an evil man who lives in an industrial neighborhood and has no skills or abilities or friends whatsoever can just throw a seed he got off the computer into the dirt, instantly have it germinate, and get magic fairy powers from mother nature who doesn't sense anything off about this request? There's no gameplay to this whatsoever, there might as well just be a "become a fairy" button you get when you click on your SIm. I rarely call content in games "lazy" but this is LAZY.4KViews34likes27Comments
