Battlefield 6 DirectX crashes can only be a problem with the game engine.
Battlefield 6 is crashing with DirectX errors on a wide range of systems. This has been happening since release and appears related to the game engine under heavy load. It needs an official fix. Many players are reporting the same behavior across different hardware and drivers. Some players say that the problem appears to have existed since Battlefield 2042. I can't confirm that myself, as I haven't played BF2042 for very long. Steps to reproduce: 1. Launch the game normally from Steam or EA App 2. Join RedSec or Conquest mode 3. Played it through heavy action for a few minutes to tens of minutes or Sometimes over one hours 4. Stutters, hiccups , framedrops i found the cause!! Edit***
So after hours of testing today, I found the cause of stutters, frame drops, etc. It's the Javelin anti-cheat, which overloads one or two CPU cores when you press WASD, 1, 2, or 3, the enter button, or certain letters. The CPU core goes to 100%, and this results in stutters. It's affecting all Battlefield titles, so please fix this, Dice! Edit** I noticed that pressing certain keyboard keys (like number keys or arrow keys) causes noticeable micro-stutters in BF1, BFV, and BF6. FPS stays high, GPU load is fine, and CPU cores aren’t maxed. Mouse movement or clicks don’t trigger this. It seems to happen only with keys that change the game state (weapon switch, zeroing, gadgets). Rapidly pressing these keys makes spikes worse (dpc latency.) Shader cache warm-up reduces it slightly, and capping FPS also helps mask the spikes. From what I can tell, the cause is kernel-level anti-cheat checks (Javelin/EA AC) validating discrete input. These checks temporarily block the main game thread, which shows up as micro-stutter, even though CPU/GPU aren’t overloaded. This isn’t a hardware or driver issue—it’s a side effect of the anti-cheat + Frostbite engine. please fix this soon!
Apex Legends download from the EA app is bugged

Seems like with the release of S25, Something is wrong with the installer. I do a fresh install of the game when a new update comes out because I've had some weird shader bugs in the past so now its just a habit with each release of a new season. This go round I and a few others have gotten a "The final stages of installation didn't go as planned." error message. I went through to do all suggested fixes and none of them worked. I just recently tried to install Sims and that, however, did work. Apex Legends Event, Challenges, Passes, Legend locker, and Store not loading.
The whole top menu of Apex legends isn't loading for me, restarted my console, rebooted the game, switched servers, still the same issue, I noticed that I finished all the 7th anniversary badge challenges and didn't get any badges, also my prize tracker for the event is stuck even though I finished it 2 days ago, it hasn't reset the challenges or the dailies, this really sucks for me as I bought all the even packs except the last one because I saw it free in the tracker and decided it was worth waiting a day or two to save 10 dollars, but now it will t load either and I can't get my heirloom shards. I've talked to everal other people on this issue, and I believe the problem to be the legend pass I bought for octane, as other people I have talked to on the topic say that that is something they have noticed with this bug. I just got a 4k badge on octane and want to equip it but again I can't access my Legend Locker, the only solution I've seen so far is someone said you can change your resolution after every match, which sounds like a pain, especially on Xbox, but I'm gonna give that a try, lmk if anyone else found any fixes.

However, I'm having a serious issue where every time I die, right as the death animation starts to play, the game freezes and crashes immediately with no error message. This happens in all modes. I've looked online and seen others with similar issues. Some reported that deleting the cache folder for the game helped, but it was only a temporary fix — the issue returned within 30–45 minutes. Since deleting the folder didn’t help, I decided to reinstall the game, even though it’s large. Unfortunately, the problem got slightly worse: it started freezing even faster, sometimes before the death animation even starts. I then consulted ChatGPT, which recommended analyzing the crash dump file using a program called WinDbg. I did so, and shared the analysis with ChatGPT to interpret the results. Hopefully someone from the developer team can help investigate further. And yes, before anyone asks — I did try switching the game to run in DirectX 11. The same issue persists. Madden 25 team builder: Cannot download user made team, "Try again later" error.
Gonna try and post this every day so this gets traction. Seeing it start to pop up more and more and can see it's been a consistent problem for awhile. Cannot download created team from madden, try and try and just get try again later error. I've reset my internet, repaired the game, recreated the team and nothing. Hope ea can fix this because my buddies and I want to do a 15+ man fantasy draft create a team franchise and most of them don't have it yet. Missing out on dough because you're too lazy to fix something. 3/17/25
