BF6 Beta PC Client Not Launching - Silent Crash After Startup
TPM 2.0 check, Safe boot check, drivers check. When pressing start on steam, the small window pops up, then goes away and steam stops running it, I know others are having this issue, but putting it out there to gather more attention for it CM edit: edited title for clarity.
"Authentication Failed" Error – Can’t Access Battlefield 6
Every time I load up the game and get to the queue it opens up this error message. I was playing just fine earlier today, and it started happening a few hours ago. Nothing I've done so far has worked (changing store platforms, manual dns settings, or restarting my computer) CM title edit
[CURRENT ISSUE] Anti-Virus blocking User Folder (Screenshots/Gallery/Mods..)
There's currently an issue where some virus programs (namely AVG and AVAST) are blocking the user folder. There are several symptoms currently for this issue Taking Screenshots and Videos doesn't work as the game is unable to write them to the screenshot/recorded video folder Mods/CC and other changes in the options stay how they currently are cause the game is unable to write the changes to the file Gallery has red X showing instead of pictures. I assume that's the same problem as the game is unable to download the thumbnail pictures to the cache folder GameVersion.txt shows the wrong game version To solve this you need to add the following files as an exception to your Antivirus Program (see instructions for your particular program on how to do this). C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\EA Desktop\EA Desktop\EADesktop.exe C:\Program Files\EA Games\The Sims 4\Game\Bin\TS4_x64.exe For DX9: C:\Program Files\EA Games\The Sims 4\Game\Bin\TS4_DX9_x64.exe Paths may vary depending on your installation. Both Avast/AVG have sections for Ransomware. You need to add it there. I launched the game but i get this error because of the AMD drivers i have the drivers updated on AMD Adrenalin with the version 25.5.1 , but when i open the game i get a different driver number with an error My config is Intel Xeon E5-2666 v3 AMD Radeon RX580 8gb 16gb RAM I know its a low budget PC and a old graphics card. But i can play most of the latest games in a low resolution, but the problem is the conflict with the drivers, who don´t allow the game to work. You guys have a fix for this, or pretend to fix for some old gpus?Managed to fix my problem where it crashes during launch after update
So I tried everything possible and that was recommended to do. But what worked for me, is to go to settings on your pc and then to display-graphic. From there you should scroll down till you see The Sims 4. Ones you see it, click on it and a button for ''alternative'' should appear. Click on it, and you will see what graphic perfromance the game is running on, whether it is Nividia or Intel for instance. For me it said that my game was running on Nividia, so I thought to myself maybe this graphic setting is causing it to crash. I then changed and set it to run on my Intel UHD Graphic. From then, I went on to launch the game to see if it made a difference, and it definitely did. My game is finally booting again and working as normal. I went back to settings to change to my dedicated graphic card (Nividia) to try and to see if the problem is still there. I tried launching the game with this setting, and it worked again. Try this method and see if it works for you too. If you have any questions, do ask.
EA App suddenly stopped opening on Windows 11
Hi everyone, About two days ago, the EA App suddenly stopped opening on my computer without any apparent reason. Until then, I was able to play my games normally, but now, when I try to launch the app, nothing happens — no error message, and the interface doesn’t show up. What I’ve tried so far: Ending all EA-related processes in Task Manager and trying again Adding an exception in the antivirus and even disabling it Running as administrator Changing compatibility settings Running EA App Recovery and EA App Update Submitting a report using EA Error Reporter (I have the ticket ID) Completely uninstalling and reinstalling the EA App Rolling back the latest Windows updates Still, the issue remains. Interestingly, the EA App appears as a running process in Task Manager, but the interface never loads. Even when trying to launch a game directly from its shortcut, neither the game nor the EA App starts. Additional info: Windows 11, version 24H2, build 26.100.3624 I work in IT and have technical knowledge, I’ve tried many solutions before reaching out here. No system changes or suspicious installations occurred between the time it was working and when it stopped. I honestly don’t know what else to do. Following a recent Windows update, an error has emerged preventing the launch of Battlefield 2042. Prior to the update, the game functioned without issue. Troubleshooting steps, including the complete reinstallation of both the NVIDIA drivers and Battlefield 2042, have not resolved the problem.
