Spearhead
100 years ago, Lapland's legendary "Niagara of the Nordics" was destroyed to make way for a hydroelectric power plant - residents were given emergency instructions in case of a dam break Tuomas The flow of a waterfall located in Swedish Lapland decreased by 97 percent with the establishment of a power plant Spearhead is a map of Battlefield 2042, introduced in Escalation season on November 22nd, 2022. The map takes place somewhere in Sweden, featuring a large natural area and several automated "mega-factories" producing weapons and tools by a company named "Nordvik". "You may know Nordvik weapons. Perhaps you have one waiting in your locker right now. Their claims of being a neutral party are false. We've discovered that they are the primary artillery provider for the American offensive. Reconnaissance has narrowed down the location of the Nordvik factory to a remote Scandanavian [sic] mountain. But U.S. forces know we are coming. Dress for the cold. Once you pierce their defense, we will move in and support you." — Russian Briefing [Edit, EN only here please - CM]💔 The Fatal Disappointment of Battlefield 2042: A Game That Was Abandoned.
It is with a frustration bordering on indignation that I write about Battlefield 2042. More than a broken game, it has become proof that DICE changed everything we loved and, worse, lost focus on the product it sold to fans. • Gigantic and Empty Maps: They forced a scale of 128 players to fill the space, but what they achieved are long walks, punishing infantry gameplay, and the feeling that the map is only there to be used by vehicles. • The Technical Breakdown: the bugs persist. It is not uncommon for the game to completely freeze and close on its own in the middle of the action, frustrating the player and breaking tradition. But the hardest blow is the feeling of abandonment. Instead of returning and improving the flawed foundation of 2042, we had the clear feeling that the team quickly shifted focus to the development of the next title — the so-called “Battlefield 6”. The consumer of 2042 was left with a finished game. It's a betrayal of trust: we bought a product hoping to see it evolve, but it seems it was just a stepping stone for the next big project.Iwo Jima Breakthrough 24/7 was really amazing
Hello, I wonder if there's a chance Iwo Jima Breakthrough 24/7 will return. It was so much fun to play that the other maps are now uninteresting. I played Iwo Jima Breakthrough almost every day, and it was one of the best experiences I’ve had in BF2042. Funny timing: my birthday was October 6, and right after that the Iwo Jima rotation and related events ended. Anyway thanks to the devs for that memorable content. I hope the map or a 24/7 rotation like that could come back more often.Clean up gamemodes
So since it seems we are not getting 1-player starts for any of the official game modes can we do something else to get people playing without having to spend too much time in waiting lobbies? How about reducing the player dispersion by limiting the number of game modes on offer? IMHO we only need 4 modes: Conquest 64 Breakthrough Rush TDM Taking Conquest as an example, currently there's Close Quarters Conquest, Conquest 64 and Conquest 128, and last week we even had Conquest Unlocked. I think it's just too much. And if you want to stick to seperating CQ from normal Conquest, could we then please remove those CQ maps (Redacted, Stadium and Haven) from the regular Conquest 64 rotation? Nothing more dissatisfying when I'm up for some all out warfare including vehicles and Stadium is loading. Bottom line I still want 1-player starts for all official modes though! If you have a problem with the BF 2042 game then don’t play it or don’t buy it?
That’s your opinion ok! It all started out with BF5 when it was really bad. But overall BF 2042 was the #1 worst game in the franchise! If you are having a hard time understanding me then, I could fix it myself. I have a small ENG like it’s Problems like autism ok, it’s one of them too. My English it’s more American and British.
