Of course every single update literally destroys my game and I have to spend hours biweekly deleting and re-adding mods, repairing EA files, and clearing caches. For a game that costs literally hundreds of dollars, it requires more maintenance than my car. Most recently, the "required gamebreaking update" from yesterday has done this to all menus: This just re-affirms my decision to let Sims 4 be the last version of this game I spend my money on. EA is obviously a bad company, but it seems at this point they do it on purpose by force pushing broken events (i.e. Reapers Rewards making the game unplayable for weeks at a time) to increase the metrics on hours played when the hours are spent moving things to desktop so we can fix their middle-school era coding. Anyone have a recommendation for good alternatives to Sims available on PC? I'm definitely more of a build/buy girlie than an actual playing one.

"Game loading is still in progress"
I cannot save or travel because even after waiting over an hour my menu showed: "game loading is in progress". More than half my mods will not load at start-up or at all, and yes I've tried every 'quick fix' posted throughout any online resource available. The game is unplayable. For a multibillion-dollar franchise, I feel we should be getting far better treatment than this. For a game to be completely glitching out in more ways than one is absolutely unacceptable.Update Frustration
I love the Sims but with every single update I have to fix my mods. For us who have A LOT of mods it can take hours. It makes me take a break from the game because i get so frustrated lol. I don’t know if there is an easier way to fix this issue but I feel like the Sims 4 should do something about this. None of my build mode items are there but are still all in my mods folder. Also, the build mode menu is all screwed up! From what I have read and seen almost everyone has this issue. It is very unfortunate.
Infinite loading screen on certain lots
Hello, since the Life and Death update I haven't been able to load into certain lots, not through clicking play or going into build mode from the map, I just get stuck on infinite loading screens that make me have to force quit the game. I assume it's a mod issue, but I've used the Better Exceptions mod by Twisted Mexi to find any broken mods, and everything looks fine. I tried to make a backup of that same save, but I can't load into the lots from there either. It's weird because I made a new save to see if it would work there and it works just fine. I'll try to repair the game, but if anyone has had this issue and knows the solution, I would appreciate the help! Thanks :)
