Huge Issues with Pro Clubs (AI players missing Roles and tactics not saving)
As mentioned in my Reddit posts (Post1, Post2), AI players in Clubs currently have no roles assigned, even though it appears otherwise in the "Edit Tactics" screen. When checking in-game as captain, it's clear that both AI players and our own pros have no roles — this is visible in the screenshots provided below This lack of roles causes AI players to behave erratically. They often wander aimlessly around the pitch, barely participating or contributing to gameplay, exactly as my video. As seen on the tactics screen, AI players are supposed to have roles, but in-game, the "Roles" section is completely empty. This isn't an isolated case — many players are facing the exact same issue, as evident in the post comments and multiple Reddit threads. I've reported this bug countless times since launch, yet I've received no response, no acknowledgment. This game cost me 100 dollars, and after over six months, this issue remains unresolved. No game studio that respects its community would allow a core feature like this to be broken for so long. To further illustrate the problem, I added an image of CR7's Roles tab so you can compare it directly to the AI in Clubs. Unlike CR7, Clubs AI players have no roles at all — and this severely breaks the gameplay for anyone not playing 11v11. It's frustrating and unplayable. This needs to be fixed immediately. We're 14 title updates in, and nothing has changed. Players can't even enjoy Clubs in its current state. My second post has gathered just as much attention, if not more, reporting this exact issue. It was even pinned on the Pro Clubs subreddit for more than a week, yet still — nothing. Additional Issue: EA_Aljo many players, including myself, have also noticed that tactics set in the Edit Tactics screen don't carry over into actual gameplay. Most notably, defensive depth is always reset to 39, no matter what value you set. It's becoming painfully obvious that Clubs was not tested properly before release. To ignore these bugs for months and then ban or silence players for speaking out is unacceptable and deeply disappointing. Fixing this would make the Pro Clubs experience way more enjoyable and fun, but you still refuse to do it... Edit: WhiteGamer7, a popular Pro Clubs youtuber just made a video about it. Hey everyone, A number of us in the community have run into a frustrating issue during the current Champions Finals objective in FC 25. The objective requires you to play 15 Champions Finals matches to earn a 1 of 5 93+ TOTS Player Pick reward — but for some players, a game-breaking problem has made this impossible to complete. During one of the 15 matches, players are randomly being kicked from the game with the error: “Connecting to Ultimate Team is not possible at the moment. You will now be returned to the Main Menu.” This error forfeits the match, counting it as a loss, and prevents progression toward the 15-match requirement — even if all 15 matches were attempted fairly. Important Points: There is no issue with players’ internet connections — the problem appears to be server-side, likely on EA’s end. This effectively locks players out of the 93+ Player Pick, through no fault of their own. It’s especially frustrating because the issue happens mid-match, after matchmaking, wasting time and effort. What We’re Asking: Recognition of this issue from the development/support team. Restoration of progress for affected players, or ideally, Compensation in the form of the 93+ Player Pick or equivalent rewards for those who completed 15 matches but were blocked by this server error. Gonna try and post this every day so this gets traction. Seeing it start to pop up more and more and can see it's been a consistent problem for awhile. Cannot download created team from madden, try and try and just get try again later error. I've reset my internet, repaired the game, recreated the team and nothing. Hope ea can fix this because my buddies and I want to do a 15+ man fantasy draft create a team franchise and most of them don't have it yet. fps cap is not working in setup file and ingame settings after the TU11. the game overwrite the fps and force you to play with uncapped fps and that gives a huge input delay and stuttering... This is getting beyond frustrating. I paid extra for early access to NHL 25 so I could actually enjoy the game early and get a head start, and yet here I am, completely unable to play anything. Meanwhile, everyone else is out there upgrading their teams and enjoying the early access events, and I’m stuck, missing out on everything. To make things worse, we’ve heard NOTHING from EA. No patch, no fix, no acknowledgment, and definitely no compensation. We deserve something for this disaster. I paid to get ahead, and now I’m being punished for it. I can’t play any online modes—HUT, World of Chel, Online VS, Nothing. The only thing that works is Franchise mode, and even that crashed right after my draft, so I lost all my progress. This is ridiculous, EA messes up an update and causes an issue, but instead of acknowledging and fixing the issue they act like there isn't an issue. The white logo and field is now heading into week 3. This is why having one company monopolize NFL and NCAA content is bad for consumers. They are the only game in town and they don't care if the product is mediocre or just plain bad. I don't give it too long before EA is sold or taken over by another gaming company due to falling revenue caused by bad business practices. Trust me this type of bad corporate practice in the gaming world never last. If that happens, the EA Sports management team will be let go. So keep up the bad work guys.
