DEAD SPACE 2 - failed to launch game
Hello, I just downloaded the game, and every time I try to launch it I get an error message that says: 'failed to launch game' an error on our end caused the launch to fail. try again a little later. What should I do? It has already been showing me the same message for 3 days since installation.
Broken achievements
Hey EA, It’s really frustrating that 4 achievements in Dead Space 3 are currently impossible to unlock: Survivalist, Aren’t You Thankful?, Pure Lunacy (DLC), and Supercharger (DLC). It feels like we’re being punished for playing your game properly. Please either fix these achievements so they can actually be earned, or just remove them. Leaving them broken like this is unfair and only hurts the player community. We’ve been enjoying your games for years, but stuff like this makes it feel like you don’t care about the players. Thanks for looking into it.
Unable to install Dead Space 3
What purpose does the forum or any "support" entity of EA even serve? In the information age, you cant get prompt responses on game-specific forums here, and of all the threads I have read in this area, the community managers basically say "there is nothing we can do." Why even run the things if you are either hamstrung into being unable to do anything, or are fundamentally unwilling to provide any help? I have a microsoft surface book 2 I am trying to launch Dead Space 3 on but am receiving an error "This game will not run in a virtual environment". Most surface devices you are not able to disable virtualization extensions. I am confused though because I also have a desktop running with vt-d enabled and it launches the game just fine. I've gone through a gauntlet of items turning windows features on and off trying to figure out how to get past this error but to no avail. Am I missing something about Microsoft surface devices that causes them to get flagged in error? DS3. Why is the game telling me that Hardcore and Survival modes are completed?
Hi! I’ve now completed both modes, but the game was telling me they were completed even before that. And I never received the achievements for them. The game shows me a ticker with my friend’s kill statistics. Am I correct in understanding that this data is stored on a remote server, just like the data about completing various modes? Hello, I would like to report along with MANY other players that the following achievements for Dead Space 3 do not unlock properly: Survivalist Supercharger Aren't You Thankful? The only reason I have "Aren't You Thankful?" is because I completed it before 2024. I cannot unlock Survivalist despite completing the entire main campaign on Pure Survival mode as shown in the screenshot attached. Supercharger does not unlock despite many attempts which were well under the 90 second limit to charge the reactor in the DLC. Please fix this as there are many players such as myself who would like to enjoy this game properly. You have removed the achievement for collecting all achievements, but then this bugged the entire game. Please implement another patch soon or simply remove these bugged achievements from the list. If you can remove one achievement, you do not need the original devs to remove the others. Thank you.Broken Achievements
Hello, I'm writing to inform you along with many others on Steam that 4 achievements in Dead Space 3 are currently impossible to unlock. The achievements are listed as the following: Survivalist, Aren't You Thankful?, Pure Lunacy (DLC), and Supercharger (DLC) I enjoy replaying my games and getting the most out of them for achievements and when they are broken it can remove the thrill of the game. Please either fix these achievements so they can be earned legitimately or just remove them. I understand this became an issue when you removed the achievement for earning all achievements for Dead Space 3 titled "Brave New World." This does not need the original dev team to be able to fix. Please also direct my message to EA_Shepard or any other community manager who is in charge and I'd be happy to explain more of this issue directly to them. Thank you and I appreciate you looking into this as I know MANY other Steam accounts are continuing to report this both on EA and within Steam.
Fix or remove broken achievements in Dead Space 3
For me Broken achievement is "Epic Tier 4 Engineer". But people on the forums say that 4 more achievements are broken: Survivalist, Aren’t You Thankful?, Pure Lunacy (DLC), and Supercharger (DLC). Just fix your achievements—what's so hard about that? Or delete them. Why should honest players suffer trying to get 100%?
