Sims 4 - Game License Invalid
So first I had an issue with my app even loading, it said I had no games in my library, I needed to buy EA Play which I haven't had in years with no issue, and wouldn't even show Sims 4 anywhere. Contacted the support chat, not sure if she fixed it or if I did because I found a way to clear my cache while waiting on her response which started working like normal once it relaunched. Then it just said I needed to download the game, which I have downloaded along with every pack (minus kits) downloaded as well, I did NOT want to have to redownload all of that, so I checked it a different way and it pulled up that I just needed to update. I updated the game and now it says my Game License is Invalid, always something right? The person in the chat couldn't help me, she just told me to post on here and she would report it on her end but that was it. Just like most people who enjoy Sims 4 I have 2500 hours in this game, a lot of money in it, and the game is a FREE game so how is my license invalid? I have clicked the repair button under MANAGE, and it repaired the base game along with all my add ons but I am still having the issue. I wish we would go back to Origins, I don't remember there be any issues with playing Sims 3 and it seems the EA app has issues too often. I just want to play my game and relax after a long day at work and can't.
[UPDATE] EA app Friends List, Invites, Cross-Play — What's Going On
Hi all, For last few weeks, the right side of the EA app is in indefinite loading screen. My profile pic, status and friend list are a part of this infinite loading screen, PFA. Because of this, in game friends who are online don't show up as well as I don't show as Online for my friends. I have no issue playing the game but I am no longer able to play with my friends. Tried the following but nothing helped: App uninstall and re-install. Delete reg edit entries, clear local data after EA uninstall and reinstall. Delete Apex legends and EA app, delete all involved folders, local data, reg edit entries and reinstall. Restart router. Also tried installing EA app in D: drive(custom location) but it keeps installing in C: drive. Not sure if this helps though.
App keeps uninstalling
Since the last update a few days ago the app works untill I play the Sims 4 I save & quit game & log out like normal but then when I go to use it again it is completely missing from my game & my games are still there & when I go to website to reinstall I have the option to launch or repair & I check repair now, still does the same thing & this has happened several times now. Also new problem looks like the app updated again because now it is blue instead of orange & now I get a message that my EA pro membership has ended so games have been removed (yes I already knew this especially since it way May of last year) But you also took away my special promo games that I earned when you use to have a game for free download once a month (without EA play membership) as well as other games I have purchased thru all the years! including content I do not see listed on the app anymore! It was already on my computer & now it has been deleted by your app even though I purchased it literally years ago all with out my consent on my personal property all my Sims 3 store content has been erased too & your Sims 3 website is no longer up & running to even download it! I want all my games & content back that I purchased all those years ago. Also the add on for Sims Medieval called Pirates & Nobles bonus content I can't even get back as that was a code you had to type in when purchased the game so I am up set about this too & add on game isn't even showing on your app to reinstall it either, btw this is one of the games you are trying to get me to buy again as well as some games that I literally bought when I had EA pro membership. And while I'm at it Why does Sims 4 content still seem so empty & lacking, I hardly have any item in my game even though I own all the expansion & stuff packs as well as all the kits! Why am I missing items! It's not my computer as I have no problem on other platforms where I am also a playtester & a lot of their requirements are much more demanding than the Sims 4. As well as other programs because I like to dabble with recolors & making my own meshes from time to time, which again require more specs & space than the Sims 4 yet they run just fine. Please fix this issue as soon as possible I want my games & my content back, all of it!
EA app deleted itself and now won't reinstall
I noticed that whenever I turned my computer on and tried to play Sims 4, it would say I didn't have the EA app installed. I would just reinstall with the installer, and I would be fine. But now whenever I use the installer, it fails and gives me error code: INST-3-1920. I have deleted all the files and retried, but no luck!
Cant complete Purschases
Hey Yall! Im having trouble completing purchases on ea, both in app and webstore. Ive been in contact with support 3 times now for long periods of time and nothing seems to fix this.. i get an error code wich is #53000 and says: ''We had a problem accesing your account information. Sign back into your account and try again.'', see screenshot. I keep getting the same message everywhere i try to do a purchase. Im kinda lost right now since not even support know whats wrong so any help would be much appreciated. Thanks! /Cheesy
