EA App suddenly stopped opening on Windows 11
Hi everyone, About two days ago, the EA App suddenly stopped opening on my computer without any apparent reason. Until then, I was able to play my games normally, but now, when I try to launch the app, nothing happens — no error message, and the interface doesn’t show up. What I’ve tried so far: Ending all EA-related processes in Task Manager and trying again Adding an exception in the antivirus and even disabling it Running as administrator Changing compatibility settings Running EA App Recovery and EA App Update Submitting a report using EA Error Reporter (I have the ticket ID) Completely uninstalling and reinstalling the EA App Rolling back the latest Windows updates Still, the issue remains. Interestingly, the EA App appears as a running process in Task Manager, but the interface never loads. Even when trying to launch a game directly from its shortcut, neither the game nor the EA App starts. Additional info: Windows 11, version 24H2, build 26.100.3624 I work in IT and have technical knowledge, I’ve tried many solutions before reaching out here. No system changes or suspicious installations occurred between the time it was working and when it stopped. I honestly don’t know what else to do. If anyone has faced this issue or knows of a fix, I’d really appreciate your help!2.9KViews23likes41Comments[UPDATE] EA app Friends List, Invites, Cross-Play — What's Going On
Hi all, For last few weeks, the right side of the EA app is in indefinite loading screen. My profile pic, status and friend list are a part of this infinite loading screen, PFA. Because of this, in game friends who are online don't show up as well as I don't show as Online for my friends. I have no issue playing the game but I am no longer able to play with my friends. Tried the following but nothing helped: App uninstall and re-install. Delete reg edit entries, clear local data after EA uninstall and reinstall. Delete Apex legends and EA app, delete all involved folders, local data, reg edit entries and reinstall. Restart router. Also tried installing EA app in D: drive(custom location) but it keeps installing in C: drive. Not sure if this helps though.Solved14KViews39likes355CommentsUnable to Launch EA Desktop App After Reinstallation
Hello EA Support, I had the EA Desktop App installed and working on my computer, but after needing to reinstall it, I now receive the following error: Windows cannot find 'C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\EA Desktop\EA Desktop\EALauncher.exe'. I’ve tried all the available troubleshooting steps, including reinstalling the app, but the issue persists. Could you help me resolve this? Thank you,410Views0likes2CommentsMy ea account is bugged

Tend to play Sims 4 offline. Played earlier in the day offline with no issue. Later on, I played online for a few minutes (mostly to browse the gallery) and exited the game to switch to offline. However, when clicking the game to launch once going offline, the EA App states that my game license expired with an Error Code 204. I switch to online and launch the game with no problem. I play on laptop so playing offline helps reduce background activity and stress on the system. Not sure why my "game license" expired, I have all the receipts from purchase. Both Sims 4 and EA App are updated to latest versions. Since the update this box keeps popping up whenever I log into my game. It has never happened before the update today. I have gone through my EA account and all required fields are completed. TS4 won't open the game unless it is in the Epic Games launcher, which I don't have installed and never have had installed on this laptop. It's frustrating because after the pop-up my game won't open, and theres a 5% chance the actual Sims 4 will open. I have tried removing mods, custom content, save lifes, reinstalling the game, restarting the EA app... everything! I'm going insane! This has been going on since New Years Eve.Sims 4 - Game License Invalid
So first I had an issue with my app even loading, it said I had no games in my library, I needed to buy EA Play which I haven't had in years with no issue, and wouldn't even show Sims 4 anywhere. Contacted the support chat, not sure if she fixed it or if I did because I found a way to clear my cache while waiting on her response which started working like normal once it relaunched. Then it just said I needed to download the game, which I have downloaded along with every pack (minus kits) downloaded as well, I did NOT want to have to redownload all of that, so I checked it a different way and it pulled up that I just needed to update. I updated the game and now it says my Game License is Invalid, always something right? The person in the chat couldn't help me, she just told me to post on here and she would report it on her end but that was it. Just like most people who enjoy Sims 4 I have 2500 hours in this game, a lot of money in it, and the game is a FREE game so how is my license invalid? I have clicked the repair button under MANAGE, and it repaired the base game along with all my add ons but I am still having the issue. I wish we would go back to Origins, I don't remember there be any issues with playing Sims 3 and it seems the EA app has issues too often. I just want to play my game and relax after a long day at work and can't.7.4KViews14likes353Comments
