EA App Not Connecting via Xbox App on PC – Tried Everything
Hey everyone, I’m having an issue where the Xbox App on PC can’t connect to the EA App. I get the message: We’re having trouble connecting to EA App. Try restarting the Xbox App or contacting EA App support. I’ve tried everything: -Reinstalled both Xbox and EA App -Cleared EA App cache (AppData\Local\EADesktop) -Repaired Gaming Services and Xbox App -Searched everywhere on internet -tried contacting EA and XBOX weren't helpfull -Launched EA App first, then Xbox App -Rebooted multiple times Basically anything you can think of... i want to connect it because i have game pass on xbox and play some games that are on there. Please anybody help my head is gonna explode from this, just makes no sense.
Error Code: EC:204 (can't play offline, says "game license has expired")
Whenever EA puts out a game update, I don't update immediately and switch to playing offline for a week or more (depending on how bad it is) while I wait for mods to be updated and for the worst of the new bugs and glitches to be resolved. I've done this since the EA App was released without issue. So the EA App updated shortly before the 7/23 game update and when I went to play offline last night, I discovered I suddenly couldn't. I click on "go offline" and it shows Sims 4 as an installed game, but now when I click play, instead of launching the game offline as usual, I'm getting an error message telling me that the game license has expired and that I need to launch the game to renew the license and gives the Error Code: EC:204. I've never had this issue before. So now I cannot play the game at all as I've seen how lit it is out on the bug report forum and there's no way I'm updating my game right now with all the issues the patch has created. And I can't go "online" with the game without it automatically pushing the update. Is anyone else having this issue with playing offline right now? And is anyone aware of a work around? (Note: I have already logged out and back in, uninstalled and reinstalled the EA App, cleared the cache, restarted my PC, and ensured by XBox and EA accounts aren't linked (they never were).)
EA Error code and failed payment when making purchase
hello, am i the only one for whom ordering a sims pack is impossible? i wanted to profit from the promos to buy spa day but after trying 4 times, disabling my VPN, going to EA app AND the site, trying with PayPal instead, i always fail. So I wanted to know if this has happened to anyone else and if you had any advice. The purchase is marked as failed 4 times in my order history, my monetary limit has dropped from 83 to 58€ and I haven't received any order confirmation in mailbox. I got error messages when the application asked me to enter the credit card verification code. I also received two error codes: 54001 and 54005. So my two questions are: 1. Will I be charged, knowing that the purchases failed? 2. how do I get back to being able to buy a sims 4 pack on the EA app platform? thank you very much. i've cleared the cache and searched for an update; i've also restarted my computer.Game not being redeemed
I recently tried to redeem a code on the EA app but it sent me a weird message (I didn't manage to screenshot it) it said something along the lines of "you can't download this game as it's not present on you game hub" I clicked "ok" on the message twice, and that was it, I still didn't get the game and now if I try to redeem it it says it's already been redeemed. What can I do?
