SBC Softban or something else?
Hey, Today I was grinding the SBC exchanges when all of a sudden I received this pop-up: “There was an error communicating with the Football Ultimate Team servers. Please try again.” Unaware that this was a softban, I kept trying to do the SBCs again, restarted the game — but nothing helped. After searching online, I figured out it must be a softban (never had one before). It happened about seven hours ago and I still can’t do any SBCs, so maybe something else is wrong… In a forum post from 9 months ago by the community manager (Re: I am just getting kicked out after i change something in my team in ut). I found a possible fix that other people have also mentioned: Possible workaround: 1.From Squad Management, remove your active Squad and create a new one. 2.Check if one of your players on the bench is also in the SBC Duplicate Storage. If yes, send it to your Club and try to start a new game. Unfortunately, this didn’t fix the issue for me. I see that many other people are also dealing with these softbans. I’d like to know how long a softban usually lasts — 1, 7, 10, or 24 hours? (considering this is my first one). EA, maybe it would help to clearly state when a softban has been given instead of showing a generic “error communicating with the server” message. Even better would be a timer so we, as end-users, know exactly what’s going on. P.S. Hello everyone After over a month straight of this (being generous) I just feel compelled to speak out. I mean seriously folks, you all have to chill with these ridiculously overpriced evolutions. I have a real life you know, and so do most (I hope) other players. You are not giving us enough coins for playing matches, or tradable packs to justify this. Now the players I've been using all year and evolving are being forcibly removed from contention due to the unaffordable nature of the evolution tab. What is the intention here, is what I don't understand. The premium pass cost 500k, only for the game to give me the worst possible outcome on every tradable pack, like a 90+×4 pack that somehow manages to randomly select only gold rare players rated 90 or higher. Then you have repeatable upgrades that give almost exclusively players that are at the minimum rating, or maybe 1 or 2 points higher. Then it's the designated duplicate, who else got Mukiele 6 times? Then for me personally and other people in my position, there is nothing to do since all of the rewards are geared towards online competition. And did I mention the 87+ player picks where I had the pleasure of picking Popp, Paredes, Sommer and Salah? Wow. But back to where I started, have the people that are pricing the evolutions taken a look at the market lately? Because if they have, then they are well aware that the upgrades provided do not justify the price according to the attributes of the players on the market. Having nothing to do, not being able to afford anything that I want, mediocre packs and dwindling rewards or motivation to play in my 'escape' was at least somewhat tolerable due to the evolutions becoming available to everyone, and actually having nice upgrades. I understand evolutions having prices, but I thought that they were sort of an alternative for people who can't afford or attain the most popular players to be able to create their own versions of these incredible talents at a reasonable price. But sadly, evolutions, just like everything else in ultimate team, is steadily turning into an exclusive club. I am just a customer that is asking to be heard. Please don't allow a game that stands for so many good things devolve into a greedy monopoly just like everything else. It's like the escape has become the same trap that haunts society outside of it. I haven't even stated every thing that causes this to feel so urgent, and I don't try to harp on flaws because I understand and appreciate what it takes to provide a great product like this, and it being so globally popular makes certain things significantly more difficult and complicated. But that's also why I really hope that feedback like this is treated with the same sense of urgency that it is being given with. These evolution prices, for example, are an easy fix. Please do not take offense to what I am saying, I mean none. I just want things to be fair for everyone. Please hear me and the other players. All the best to everyone!Sbc reward not received:
Hi all, I completed the Modrić sbc yesterday and didn’t receive the actual Modrić card itself, I have tried every way in which to find it however I haven’t received the card. I have linked below a screen recording of me going from this message into my companion to show that I’ve completed it, then into my players showing that I don’t have him. What is the point in having any sort of sbc grind if you are just going to stop me from doing them? I've been stopped 3 times today from doing repeatable SBC's and it's ridiculous. It's been 40 minutes since my last ban and I still can't do anymore. Why do you even have a limit for how many can be done, if they are infinitely repeatable? It's not like I'm getting anything good from them anyway. This is one of the worst things outside of actual gameplay that you have ever implemented, and a genuinely terrible idea. It feels like you don't want people to be able to get promo cards without being driven to the store, but that's the idea isn't it? It's not enough to give you the money for the game (which is objectively one of the worst ever) you want to try take every penny you can and you use manipulative tactics to do so.Sluggish and unresponsive
So I was in a promotional match few days ago but a had a connection problem which disconnected my win but after that my players have been sluggish and unresponsive has anyone else been getting the same effect it’s not WiFi nor skill issues sometimes my player does this mini shake and the ball gets intercepted from him it was all fine a week agoWinners celebration
Hello EA sports team Can you guys please at least give us a player pick from the 2 day promos you have been releasing? The pop-up message has been appearing, and I have packed 0 from Tottenham, 1 from Chelsea, 0 from PSG, 0 from Arsenal women, 0 from Portugal, I mean, this just doesn't feel much like a celebration at all. Please consider allowing us to participate instead of just being onlookers to items that are ridiculously pricey because of their rarity, can we all at least have one?
