Hi everyone! I hope you're all enjoying the new forum so far. I know I am!! I'm Charla, a big fan of The Sims 4! ☺️ I was going to join on the old one, but, as it only had a week left I decided to wait until today. I loved lurking on the what happened in your game today thread so I thought would create a new one here. So what's happened in your game today? Today in my game I was playing as a character I created, Lauren Lord. She's an young adult, who dreams of being an author and a mom. Currently she's working as a school teacher, but today she had no work, she stayed at home and played chess and tended to her plants (when it wasn't raining!). Sul Sul, Is it appropriate to say "it's that time again" if this is the first time on a new forum? The mind boggles. Nevertheless, it's now time to spin up ourofficial Lovestruck screenshot thread! Do you ever capture pictures from fun or awkward situations in your game? Often my sims will make me smile just because they did position weirdly, making a totally normal situation look funny. - Hello again, Hairdresser, I got a complaint! Your solution turned out to be unpractical. Are you sure I can't have a ponytail, without the horse?

[b]Welcome to BNS 185: Let's Play[/b] (Note: This is the long-delayed follow-up to BNS 180: Let it Snow, which introduced the elves and their quest to learn to build better doll houses and superhero lairs). You stretch out on your couch after a long weekend in the North Pole. You have really enjoyed your time teaching the elves about different types of architectural designs, but it has been a bit exhausting as well. You just wrapped up the teaching part of the job, and you’re pleased with the progress the elves have made. You have given them their "exam" requirements to build either a dollhouse or action figure/super hero lair using the techniques you have taught them. Now you have a whole month to relax before you have to go back to help "judge" their projects and offer final suggestions to the elves. The Brief: -the budget is $250,000 (this includes the lot cost). -the doll house or lair must have an "open" side, just like a real toy. -keep in mind that a "child" must be able to reach in and play in every room or space you create. -it should be at least two stories high with a staircase or ladder as well as a bathroom. -it should have at least 6 different rooms/spaces to play in. -don't forget to landscape. The Sim Challenge: -create a family or group of superheroes/action figures with at least 4 sims. -you can pick all traits, likes, dislikes, and other details. -show them enjoying the house or lair. Diary of a Country Girl
Hi everyone. 🙂 This is the continuation of a story I started back in March on the old Vanilla forum. If you were a regular follower of the 'What Happened In You Game Today' thread, you already know Aurora and her little family. Her save started out as just for fun. To explore things within the game that I never had before. I was just going to share a few screenshots with captions. The original idea for this save was to only be about Aurora and her sidekick, her Bernese, Piccolo. But I realized a couple of weeks ago that, yeah, it had become a story. And it deserved its own space here on the new forum. This post and the next couple will help those of you who aren't familiar, become familiar. And since the previous updates were scattered over like 75-100 pages of the old WHIYGT thread it's a nice reminder for everyone that had been following along. The title is also a hint at another change. I'm going to start writing each update like it was an entry in Aurora's diary. I may still write something here and there in a more traditional style with dialogue though. I'm also getting ready to start the reboot of my other story and by writing this one like a diary it's a lot easier to do both and still keep this interesting. So let me introduce you to everyone. Aurora Westbrook-Carter Aurora came back to her country roots. Her parents left Chestnut Ridge just as she entered her teens. She still came back to see her grandparents during the summers. She loved those visits and getting away from the city. After graduating high school she went to art school where she honed her painting and photography skills. But she never lost her love for the quiet country life in Chestnut Ridge. Now she's back where she feels most at home. Tre Carter Aurora's husband Tre came from an entirely different background. He grew up on the streets of Del Sol Valley just like his father. His mother came from Ciudad Enamorada. Yet Tre has always fascinated by the country life. He has an abiding love for horses too. Even if his first real life encounters weren't exactly smooth. Piccolo Aurora's loyal sidekick. Peanut (l), Nashville(back), and Spirit Peanut is Aurora's champion American Saddlebred. Best career outfit ever
Yesterday I started to play a new family. The mother of the family joined the social media career. At the end of the work day I noticed she had a career outfit that was quite ... different. This screenshot was taken in CAS just before I set her careeroutfit to something more senseble. If someone would ask me to make the weirdest career outfit ever, I honestly wouldn't be able to come up with a result like this.
