What happened in your game today?
Hi everyone! I hope you're all enjoying the new forum so far. I know I am!! I'm Charla, a big fan of The Sims 4! ☺️ I was going to join on the old one, but, as it only had a week left I decided to wait until today. I loved lurking on the what happened in your game today thread so I thought would create a new one here. So what's happened in your game today? Today in my game I was playing as a character I created, Lauren Lord. She's an young adult, who dreams of being an author and a mom. Currently she's working as a school teacher, but today she had no work, she stayed at home and played chess and tended to her plants (when it wasn't raining!). I also made this new Sim :) hope the pic works! Look forward to seeing what's happening in your games. X68KViews95likes9792CommentsFunny pics
Do you ever capture pictures from fun or awkward situations in your game? Often my sims will make me smile just because they did position weirdly, making a totally normal situation look funny. - Hello again, Hairdresser, I got a complaint! Your solution turned out to be unpractical. Are you sure I can't have a ponytail, without the horse?5.9KViews53likes622CommentsThe Sims 4: Lovestruck - Official Screenshot Thread!
Sul Sul, Is it appropriate to say "it's that time again" if this is the first time on a new forum? The mind boggles. Nevertheless, it's now time to spin up our official Lovestruck screenshot thread! I for one absolutely love, love, love what we've seen so far about Ciudad Enamorada and can't wait to jump in and explore more. The murals below were both personal highlights :) Show me what you got!4.9KViews30likes143CommentsThe Sims 4: Enchanted By Nature - Official Screenshot Thread!

Hi everyone. 🙂 This is the continuation of a story I started back in March on the old Vanilla forum. If you were a regular follower of the 'What Happened In You Game Today' thread, you already know Aurora and her little family. Her save started out as just for fun. To explore things within the game that I never had before. I was just going to share a few screenshots with captions. The original idea for this save was to only be about Aurora and her sidekick, her Bernese, Piccolo. But I realized a couple of weeks ago that, yeah, it had become a story. And it deserved its own space here on the new forum. This post and the next couple will help those of you who aren't familiar, become familiar. And since the previous updates were scattered over like 75-100 pages of the old WHIYGT thread it's a nice reminder for everyone that had been following along. The title is also a hint at another change. I'm going to start writing each update like it was an entry in Aurora's diary. I may still write something here and there in a more traditional style with dialogue though. I'm also getting ready to start the reboot of my other story and by writing this one like a diary it's a lot easier to do both and still keep this interesting. So let me introduce you to everyone. Aurora Westbrook-Carter Aurora came back to her country roots. Her parents left Chestnut Ridge just as she entered her teens. She still came back to see her grandparents during the summers. She loved those visits and getting away from the city. After graduating high school she went to art school where she honed her painting and photography skills. But she never lost her love for the quiet country life in Chestnut Ridge. Now she's back where she feels most at home. Tre Carter Aurora's husband Tre came from an entirely different background. He grew up on the streets of Del Sol Valley just like his father. His mother came from Ciudad Enamorada. Yet Tre has always fascinated by the country life. He has an abiding love for horses too. Even if his first real life encounters weren't exactly smooth. Piccolo Aurora's loyal sidekick. Peanut (l), Nashville(back), and Spirit Peanut is Aurora's champion American Saddlebred. Nashville is Tre's horse and Spirit is the newest addition to the family. **Table Of Contents** Recap Part One Recap Part Two Recap Part Three Recap Finale Chapter One Chapter Two Chapter Three Chapter Four Chapter Six Chapter Seven Chapter Eight Chapter Nine Chapter Ten Chapter Eleven Chapter Twelve1.7KViews22likes122CommentsBuild-n-Share #194 **Summer Designer Showdown** Due July 31, 2025
Welcome to BNS 194: Summer Designer Showdown! “Flavors of the World” – A Multicultural Festival This month, we’re celebrating the rich tapestry of cultures that make up our Sims’ world! Your challenge is to design a multicultural summer festival—a vibrant outdoor space where Sims from all walks of life can gather, eat, dance, and connect. The Brief: Budget: None this time Lot size: 20x20 or larger. Minimum of 4 food and drink kiosks or stalls (Use any combination of in-game or cc stalls, food carts, or vendor tables. Group them by region, theme them by color, or scatter them organically—your choice!) Outdoor eating area Must include seating for at least 8 Sims and some form of shade (umbrellas, pergolas, tents, etc.) Public restrooms These can be standalone or part of a larger structure, but they must be accessible from the festival grounds. Use any world or season. Add stages, splash pads, murals, or anything else that brings your festival to life. No indoor residential spaces (this is a public venue!) Don't leave the lot mostly empty. Optional: Share the in-universe story behind your festival. Who organized the festival? Is it a long-standing community tradition or a brand-new initiative? Are there any simmering rivalries between food vendors? Did someone forget to book the mariachi band? Optional Features (for extra flair): A performance space (stage, dance floor, or busking area) Cultural decor or themed zones (e.g., lanterns, papel picado, flags, murals) A kids’ activity area (playground, splash pad, or crafts) Custom signage or banners to name your festival. The Sim Challenge: None this time. The Room Challenge: None this time. Remember to include the hashtag #bns194 with your build so it can be found. Entries are due by Thursday, July 31st, 23:5:59 New York Time/EDT Patch Day Notice – July 1 Please note that a game patch is scheduled for today. If it causes significant mod or build issues, we’ll allow extra time for entries as needed. Build at your own pace—we’ll be here all month!
