Enough is Enough. Stop Spending Money.

I agree with a lot of what you said, but I can sum up the Disney response.  Bob Iger does not understand the video game industry which is why he dismantled Lucas Arts and sold the IP to EA for ten years.  He wanted nothing to do with video games.  He still does not want anything to do with video games.  He is on record, publicly, saying as much.  As such, Disney does not care, they get their royalties until CG is shuttered and boarded and the servers are taken offline.  As long as Disney gets it's tribute, they will not intervene. 

Scrybe, and I'm not speaking for him, just paraphrasing so watch his video for yourself,  has now stated he's spoken with reps at CG and they plan on pressing forward with how the game is now until the end of the era in Feb 2026.  Any changes to the game will come then.  They are invested in pushing this on us no matter what we say or do.  If the game ends because no one buys anything, I'm sure they will just drop LSB to make up the revenue.  Which is why we have not seen any new LSB this month for the "BIG ANNVY" month celebration which it went with a whimper.

I'm livid with how bad this lay-away program for toons is rolling out and the sad state of the game for those of us remaining to play it.  I'm even more angry that I bought the episode pass and it appears there is no way to get to 50 without buying pass plus or buying StRomtrooper Luke to get to the LST at the end of the chain.  With no Galactic Challenge mode, they've monetized all aspects of the game.  It's just a matter of time before Conquest rewards will cost money or we'll be asked to pay money to spend energy or access our accounts.  Greed knows no bounds and CG has definitely surpassed EA's expectations of loot box mechanics.  I am actually starting to wonder if it's possible to show the court EA lost in for loot boxes how this game is capitalizing on the system which the court said was unlawful.  Belgium had the right idea, gambling = outlawed activity. 

Iove all the micro patches, initially there was no episode currency on the new GC, now there is. I just looked I noticed that there were still unaccomplished feats even after I finished the missions (up to stage 4) before they added the extra Era currency reward.

What do they expect even the average player who can only conduct tier 1 and get a small pittance of a reward. 40 currency won't even buy anything in the store. That's only if you can get a level 20 STL as a F2P.

This is super funny seeing hom much Bob Iger doesn't care about video games because George Lucas was so insightful that he founded Lucasarts in the 80s because he knew this market will skyrocket in years to come.

This only tells a lot about the state of things in Disney.

I simply decided to quit. After playing for god knows how many years, spending decent amounts per month, going through bad change after bad change and competing high up the ladder it was time to call it quits. Currently doing the bare minimum whilst my guild works to replace my account (along with a few others) and then I’m so excited to uninstall. EA have always been a piece of crap company with absolute contempt for its players no matter what game. They won’t care about the feedback unless spending really drops off and I’ll do my part by making sure I never play again.

It honestly is a shame, I recently was addicted to playing.  However due to this abusive Relic delta update and terrible behavior from Capital games.  I bought a gaming laptop,  I advice all remaining players to not waste your time or money.   As the days pass it gets easier to ignore this game, first step leave your guild.  From their it’s easy honestly, try it and be free.  You are not missing out and the truth is the state the game is, everyone who is playing is unhappy.  Even from Kyber players we are also stepping away.

They have said nothing about several of the new features, level caps if you don't pay, the real impact of era challenges and many more. But they made that point quite clear: era content, including characters, will be isolated from the rest of the game until the era ends.

You may not like it, but they told us. Actually, it's one of the few things they told us clearly.

I only spent some on the LV lightspeed bundle, and to get the dcts up and running, and I already regret it since this game might hit EOS soon if things keep going the way they've been going

Same here. Light spender. I think most free to play doesnt really care so much. This new system is created to screw over light spenders. I will keep playing, but my 11m account is totaly free to play now. Even deleted my card details in google play. Will see how long whales can keep this game going. It will keep going, because its sw. But shame its like this now

The solution is simple. Just roll back to the old game before the 10th anniversary update.

Worst update in the history of this game and will most likely kill the game.
