SWGOH Farm Tracker v2 (custom tracking!)
Hey friends. I made a farm tracker a while back and people seemed to like having a web-based tracker for their SWGOH goals! thedonproject.com/swgoh As my summer project, I added a few things to it! Custom farms! You can now make your own custom list of characters to farm (up to 5 lists with 40 characters/ships each) and it will save locally in your browser. Icons! Look at those cool little guys. You can hid them if you want in the... Settings pane! When you click the settings button you get a whole slew of options instead of just the two in version 1, including which farms you want to show (custom of preset) and if you want colors or not. Fun! You need a swgoh.gg profile to use this tracker. If you're set up there, just type in your ally code and see how you're progressing. If you check it out or have used it in the past, I welcome feedback and ideas. Just keep in mind, I'm an amateur coder, at best. I also make essentially zero dollars per hour on this and it is just for the purpose of staving off cognitive decline, really. Years ago when crystal income was moved to GAC from arena, the reasoning was said to be because of shard chats/mafias blocking others out and ruling the payouts. The same is true for fleet, so why hasn't that been moved over? I've tried for years to get into the fleet chat and can't get in. I'm lucky to get into the top 50 without getting sniped out. And yes, I do have all meta ships maxed, I just can't afford to do multiple refreshes for a 50 crystal payout.931Views3likes33CommentsGrand Arena Captial Ship Death
If you DESTROY an opponents Capitol ship and lose the battle, when attempting the next battle the Capitol ship will spawn again. This should be fixed to where, like all other characters and ships, they stay defeated. After trying to maximize your defense, you don't have many options left for offense and destroying an opponents Capitol ship is a big accomplishment. My opponent went Max D with Prof, Executor, Levi. I destroyed Leviathan. When I went in with clean up crew, I got smashed. Executrix was on Defense which made it frustrating. Leave a comment on what you think should happen. Reply... Hi guys! I really hope this reaches the right people because there is a major issue that me, and I'm sure plenty of other players are experiencing as well. I made my account in 2016. As far as i know: Servers and sharding group up X amount of people and keep them in a static server. That server won't ever change. As I made this account EIGHT years ago, this was before the journey guide came out with a determinative way to end game content, arena was the only source of free crystals other than daily activities obviously. NOW: I have 0 relic characters, 0 7-star ships, I'm 1.3m gp still working on the tier 2 journey characters. NOW: People on my shard have dominated the Squad, and Ship arena. RELIC 9 characters, and a leaderboard full of 7 star leviathans, which also require relic 9 characters. I will say this the kindest way possible as I'm very frustrated: Even though I understand this game takes a lot of time/money/dedication; what kind of design is this and why is this allowed? I should be put in a shard with people AROUND my GP/Time/Characters. My farm to the Arena modes will not only take 8 years worth of me being gone to be where they're at, but I'm getting punished already as my rewards will never be the same as what they are getting! and they are at the top, and probably reaped all of the benefits of having that currency anyway. I don't see a world where in a business process of any kind, that this makes sense. You are essentially forcing people that are behind, to never get to a reasonable position in the game versus their peers. I am no game designer (just a big gamer), but I am a business student in my full time occupation, and here are a few solutions I can think of, being ignorant to how much time/effort that they will take: Rejuggle every accounts server and make them similar in GP, or a small disparity in gp and reclumping everything. A complete re-design of the entire idea of the server system, and how people are clumped together. Remove Crystals from being in the top 5 fleet arena. Redistributing them to other areas of the game such as: Daily Activities, Guild Participation, Either of the galactic modes. This I think has to be the most realistic solution. This removes emphasis on having a crazy ship fleet that requires a decade to build. every player involved still gets those crystals, and this still allows returning players to have anAVENUE to be able to be on the same level as those on their shard, if a server re-design is not possible. There are SO many benefits as a student that I think would be mutually beneficial from an EA, and player standpoint. First and foremost: Returning players from X amount of time ago are not being punished These players, if they have an avenue to victory would most likely be more open to paying more money, if they knew the avenue was actually achievable. I know for one, if I had an avenue to being on the same level of people on my shard, I'd throw a ton of money at EA. Simple consumer behavior. No one wants to pay for and items that don't put them on the same competitive field. Retention of players would skyrocket. I would put filthy bets that all of these servers are 1/2 of people or maybe even 3/4ths dead. and 500-250 people are really on a given shard. All of the players that had given up, were to come back, you're currently not giving them a warm welcome. Just enticements to not come back. I really hope this reaches the right set of people/person(s). I believe this to be a serious issue that should be resolved to ultimately increase the experience from EA, and a player perspective. I've took the time to carefully explain a very common issue that I think is required to be addressed for the betterment of both parties. Inspiration:Pulling a really obscure ship flown by a well-known Jedi, this ship will bolster the Endurance fleet. Name:Aayla Secura's Eta-2 Starfighter Crew:Aayla Secura Affiliation:Light Side, Support Tags:Galactic Republic, Jedi Attacks and Abilities Basic: Intercept the Enemy Deal Physical damage to target enemy and inflict Offense Down for 2 turns. Target Lock:Also inflict Critical Chance Down for 2 turns. Special: Joint Assault(Cooldown: 2) Deal Physical damage to target enemy, inflict Target Lock for 2 turns, and call target other ally to assist. If target other ally is Galactic Republic, both they and Aayla Secura’s Eta-2 Interceptor recover 30% Health. Crew: Gaining Intelligence When a Galactic Republic ally receives damage, if they have no protection and Aayla Secura’s Eta-2 Interceptor is active, they gain Protection Up (30%) and Valor for 2 turns. If the allied Capital Ship is Galactic Republic, Aayla Secura’s Eta-2 Interceptor is called to assist when another Galactic Republic ally uses a Special ability, assist again if the Capital Ship is Endurance. Reinforcement: Protecting the Fleet Enter Battle:Aayla Secura’s Eta-2 Interceptor gains +30% Potency and +30% Tenacity until the end of battle. So far I have two ship ideas both are based off of the Hondo Ohnaka pirate gang. I don't have a second character for the ship yet though, but I'll make it soon. First ship Corona-class armed frigate (The big giant disk one) Neutral, Tank, Smuggler, Scoundrel, Cargo Ship Crew: Hondo Ohnaka and (another character I haven't made yet) Unlocks at 85 shards Abilities Medium turbo laser cannons (Basic): Deal physical damage to target enemy and inflict defense down for 2 turns. If target locked call an allied Flarestar-class attack shuttle to assist. If breached inflict expose on target enemy for 2 turns. Ion Barrage (Cooldown 3 turns): Deal special damage to enemy, call another allied bounty hunter and an allied Flarestar-class attack shuttle to assist. If target enemy was target locked remove 10% turn meter from all enemies and Corona-class armed frigate gains turn meter equal to amount of turn meter removed. If target enemy was breached Corona-class armed frigate gains taunt and max health up for 2 turns. Name TBD (Cooldown 4 turns): Summon a Flarestar-class attack shuttle and it gains 20% bonus protection for 2 turns. If there is an allied Flarestar-class attack shuttle already present Corona-class armed frigate and Flarestar-class attack shuttle recover 40% health and protection. Passive abilities Name TBD: When allied scoundrel falls below 40% health dispel all debuffs on that ally and recover 5% protection for each debuff dispelled, then Corona-class armed frigate gains taunt and potency up for 2 turns. Name TBD: When a scoundrel ally defeats an enemy that ally gains 12 speed stacking (Max 36) and their cooldowns are decreased by 1. Second ship Flarestar-class attack shuttle (Summon) Neutral, Support, Scoundrel, Smuggler Crewless Abilities Light Lasers (Basic): Deal physical damage to target enemy and if an allied Corona-class armed frigate has taunt grant the allied Corona-class armed frigate protection up 15% for 2 turns, if not Flarestar-class attack shuttle gains stealth for 1 turn. Name TBD (Cooldown 3 turns): Grant all scoundrel allies speed up, critical chance up, and 30% turn meter. Passive Name TBD: When a scoundrel ally scores a critical hit Flarestar-class attack shuttle gains 5% turn meter. The Old Republic Tag is being severely underused and I think many of you would agree. Ever since Malgus and Sith assassin/marauder were added I've been wondering when the light side SWTOR characters would come into the game such as Satele Shan, Jace Malcolm, Republic Commando/Vanguard, etc. These are the front runners of most of the SWTOR cinematic trailers and some of the most played classes in the game and it would even lead perfectly into a Jedi consular/guardian re-work, 2 of the oldest characters in SWGOH and the least used sadly. Not only would adding these characters revitalize the tag, it would open up the possibility for an Old Republic fleet. Currently the Ebon Hawk is the only ship with that tag, but the ships from SWTOR's starfighter battles could easily make the cut like they did for the Marauder's ship, the extinction class bomber. I'm going to list off some characters and ships just to show examples of what could be added (for many different tags, not just old republic). For GK's Negotiator ability, Y-Wing Assualt shows 4 Y-wing bombers but only leaves 3 Concussion Mines. I suggest adding a 4th mine since there are 4 bombers or removing one of the bombers. Did one of the bombers miss their target or something? lol50Views1like0Comments
