EA/Origin SUCKS
I have had an origin account for a little over 15 years, I started with The Sims 2 and just recent bought The Sims 4 High School years. I have not had access to my account for over a year. I have not gotten any real help with the issue. I am seriously thinking about seeking legal action I have spent over $500 dollars and years of gameplay and none of my issues have been resolved. This new platform is awful They have had so many bugs and issues, and the system has gotten worse instead of better.
EA app crashes within 2-3 seconds after opening
I urgently need help. For months now, I've been having a problem where the EA app closes itself within 2-3 seconds of starting, and I can't start or do anything. Since I have “repaired” and uninstalled the app several times at the request of support, I am now stuck in the login menu when I try to start the EA app and cannot do anything because the app closes on its own after 2-3 seconds as usual. I have tried everything conventional and even performed a clean boot. For this reason, I gave up working on this problem months ago. Now EA FC 26 is coming out and I would like to play the game, but I need the EA Launcher to do so. I now need your help to find a solution or further steps to finally be able to access the app again. I've been able to play Apex Legends on Steam the whole time, but that's not good enough for EA FC, ESPECIALLY IF YOU DON'T HAVE ACCESS TO THE EA APP! Problem in a nutshell: The app opens with a black screen (now after reinstalling in the login menu) freeze and closes on its own after 2-3 seconds, over and over again. Sometimes I get a crash report requesting a restart. This does not happen. Only by manually reopening the app does it open and crash again.Cannot Open EA app, Background services crashed on Windows download
hello, i was trying to redownload the EA app on my computer to play the sims as i have not touched this computer since the end of 2023. i used to use the origin app to play the sims but as the new update began where the sims must be on the ea app i began to use my roommate’s pc as its much nicer and smoother to run on. now i’ve deleted my old origin app and all the old files and mods and tried downloading the ea app but everytime it keeps popping up as ‘background services crashed’. i double checked and made sure all old files have been deleted on this computer but i am still having trouble. i have tried the repair button and tried manually updating but each time it crashes again. i just wanna play the new sims battle pass before it expires :/
ea app causes system to freeze completely
i can say that i have reinstalled the system at least 20 times for 2-3 weeks and almost destroyed my 2 weeks old device by hand. finally i discovered the problem and it seems to be caused by the amd driver somehow crashing because of anticheat. what can i do about it? Problem: when I start a game in the app (battlefield series 1 and 5) or when shutting down the system after playing mostly high graphics games for a long time, the screen hangs at the last moment and the system hangs without reacting to anything (only after pressing the power key for 10 sec)
