SIMCITY COMPLETE EDITION (MAC) ON ORIGIN NOT WORKING! UPDATE TO 64 BIT, WHEN?
When will you upgrade SimCity Complete Edition from 32 Bit to 64 Bit for Mac, through Origin? Catalina will not all 32 Bit App or Games to open. There should be a solution to this issue by now as ASPYR has already updates its version of SimCity Complete Edition recently to 64 Bit, though the Mac App Store. If you are not going to update the game, through Origin, to 64 Bit, will you do the right thing and refund customers their money (I haven't even had the game for long)?14KViews19likes25CommentsSimCity (2013): "Incorrect login information. Please check your credentials."
Started getting this for the first time this morning. I accepted an update, had to login to an "activation" screen, and was able to play once. Now, I get this "Incorrect login information. Please check your credentials." error. I've tried fully uninstalling, repairing, deleting the SimCity folders across %AppData% and my Documents folder. I tried changing my EA account password and refreshing those credentials in the EA app. I tried App Recovery on the EA app, even reinstalled the EA App. My other EA Games, such as The Sims 4, Star Wars Squadrons, etc. work just fine. OS is Windows 11 24H2.Solved1.1KViews15likes42CommentsSim City 2013 Multiplayer: friend's city is completely empty
Hi everyone, My friend and I are trying to play SimCity 2013 multiplayer, but we've hit a game-breaking bug and are looking for help. TL;DR: Our cities don't sync and always appear as empty plots (ghost cities) to each other. This happens on every server we try (EU, NA). We also found a major time desync between our games. The Problem When we play in a region together, the following happens: I can see her city name on the correct plot, but the city itself is just an empty field. She sees the same thing for my city: an empty plot with the correct name. Visiting each other's city just loads an empty map. System Details We are playing on PC, launching through the EA App. I am playing via PC Game Pass (which includes EA Play). My friend owns the game directly on the EA App. What We've Already Tried Waiting for over an hour for the game to sync. Restarting the game and the EA App multiple times. Sending money to force a sync (my game said "Success," but the money never arrived). Creating brand new regions on different servers (EU East, NA East). The bug happens every single time. Key Clues We Found Partial Sync: Basic info like city names syncs correctly, but the actual city data (roads, buildings, etc.) does not. Time Desync: We discovered our games are running on different timelines inside the same region. For example, my city was in "August, Year 1" while my friend's was in "January, Year 1." Has anyone run into a bug like this before, especially the time desync issue? Are there any known fixes we haven't tried? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. EDIT/UPDATE: The Final Nail in the Coffin For anyone following this, I just performed one final test. I tried to use the in-game feature to "Transfer Multiplayer Region to Single Player" to see if I could at least save my own city. The result was exactly what you might expect: the process got stuck on an infinite loading screen. Specifically, it hung while trying to download my friend's city data. This confirms the data for her city is not just invisible, but so fundamentally corrupted or incomplete on the server that it cannot even be packaged for a download. The "ghost town" is, for all intents and purposes, a ghost file on EA's servers. From all regions.293Views10likes8CommentsMissing DLC, EA says i need to purchase it again.
I wanted to play Simcity today. The Cities of Tomorrow add-on was missing from my library. After 70 minutes on support, the guy told me he couldn't do anything and I had to buy the add-on again. I have my old key, activation date, the last time I played this add-on was in 2022 and everything worked. I really don't know where to turn because I don't intend to tolerate this theft that EA is doing. I paid for the add-on, I didn't delete it from the app, they deny any fault and since it's an old game they can't help me and I have to buy it again.216Views4likes4CommentsStrong Suggestions to Improve SimCity BuildIt Club Communication and Management
Message: Dear SimCity BuildIt Team I’m reaching out as a long-time player and current Vice President of the Mayor’s Club “Championz_LandLordz.” The club system is one of the best parts of SimCity BuildIt — it brings players from all over the world together to collaborate, compete, and build amazing cities. However, several improvements could make the club experience even more effective, organized, and enjoyable for everyone. Here are our strongest recommendations and the reasons they would benefit the community: —Member Tagging System:— Allow players to tag or mention members by name (for example, using “@username”). This would help get members’ attention quickly during wars, trades, or important announcements — improving coordination and communication. —Club Polls and Voting Tools:— Add a simple poll or voting feature that lets presidents or deputies create polls for club decisions, such as war participation, leadership votes, or event planning. This would make clubs more democratic and engaging. —Simpler Club Invitation and Recruitment System:— Introduce a section that shows players who are not currently in any club so that presidents and deputies can invite them directly. Currently, we must search through the global trade list, which is time-consuming and inefficient. —Advanced Club Management Tools:— Allow presidents and deputies to post pinned announcements at the top of the club chat. Add a member activity tracker (such as last login or war participation) to help clubs stay active. Include options for leaders to customize club settings (e.g., language preference, city-level requirements, or war focus). —Improved Communication Features:— Add multi-line chat messages for clearer communication. Allow reactions or emojis in club chat to make it more interactive and friendly. Enable short club-wide notifications or reminders (for war start, donation requests, etc.). You should be able to talk to members privately, so you don't have to put them on the spot in front of others —Club Events and Recognition:— Create new club milestone achievements or rewards for teamwork and longevity. Introduce a Hall of Fame or expanded club leaderboard that recognizes clubs beyond just war rankings — for example, based on donations, event participation, or community engagement. These ideas would greatly strengthen player engagement, teamwork, and the overall club experience — helping clubs stay active and connected while motivating more players to stay involved long-term. Thank you for your continued dedication and creativity in developing SimCity BuildIt. Many of us have been loyal players for years because of your hard work, and we hope our feedback can help shape the future of the game positively. Sincerely, Smokie McPot Vice President, Championz_LandLordz Club of Rufftown’s clubHelp with SimCity (2013)
Everytime I try to launch the game, it simply doesn't launchs! It stays on this same screen! When I try to launch from the desktop shortcut, simply nothing happens! I really wanted to play the game again, but this really disappointed me. I spent money on this, and I want to have access to the game I paid for!Make new Game on Mobile and Desktop with much more fun
The game is limited compared to PC version from 2013 because of lacking a lot of features like adjusting bridge hight build tunnels and much more like upgradable Buildings and have options for Farming fishing Military Bases and have zones for defense from attacks from other players and have a huge look at map where we see players nearby and exchange Electricity power water and more and all from real work country specializations and Old SimCity PC games so please make a new game available on Mobile and if possible also on PC with Cross play with all those possibilities and more from in depth gameplay for each aspect of buildings and highly detailed visuals and enhanced graphics and animations as well as vibrant colors and options to adjust graphics based to prefer Graphics or PerformanceA new SimCity is needed
Considering how good SimCity 2013 was in so many aspects, we really do need either a brand new game that is truly single player focused OR some kind of remake of CS4 which gives it modern visuals or SC2013 with the city size limitations. A lot of gamers are unhappy with Cities Skylines 2 so there’s never been a better time than to revive it. CS1 sold over 12 million copies so there is interest there. Despite the title, this video (with a little research) shows there was work being done on a post SimCity 2013 game which looked amazing. EA despite their flaws, got the mayor aspect down so well and had a very unique art style and small details that made the games feel more alive.79Views1like0Comments
