Suspicious Player Performance and Hit‑Registration Issues in Recent Match
Please look at the attachments. It was not even two or three minutes into the match, and the other team was racking up kills effortlessly. On top of that, every time I got close to securing a kill, several of my shots failed to register (see video). This happened in every single engagement during this match. In the match right before this one, I had no issues at all. What’s going on here? Are those players cheating, or are the matchmaking mechanics still broken?Possible False "Gameplay Enhancement" Ban From FPS Launch Commands?
Recently, my Apex Legends account with around 3,000 hours was permanently banned for "Gameplay Enhancement". I want to be clear: I have never cheated, used scripts, macros, recoil tools, wallhacks, aimbot, or any third-party gameplay software. I reached Predator in Season 27, stopped playing for a while, and came back at the start of Season 29. After playing ranked for about two days, I was banned mid-game while warming up in Wildcard. The only unusual thing I had was a set of FPS/performance launch commands I copied from a popular YouTube video: +fps_max 139 -forcenovsync -dev -high -novid -fullscreen -preload -no_render_on_input_thread +r_drawparticles 0 +mat_compressedtextures 1 +cl_ragdoll_collide 0 +mat_disable_fancy_blending 1 +lobby_max_fps 0 After reading other EA forum posts, I noticed multiple players banned for "Gameplay Enhancement" mentioning similar FPS/config commands. I am not asking for special treatment. I am asking EA/Respawn to please review whether these performance configs could be causing false flags, and to clarify what launch commands are or are not allowed. If anyone else was banned for "Gameplay Enhancement" after using FPS commands or configs, please reply so EA can see whether this is affecting more players.32Views0likes0CommentsSwitch 2 constant disconnect

(I rewrote it with new information and submitted it again) Hello Apex Legends Community, Over the past month or more, in Wildcard matches, I have frequently encountered teammates who: -Earlier in August, usernames were mostly one- or two-digit numbers; over time, combinations of two English words or English words with four-digit numbers became more common. Usernames do not include underscores or other symbols. -Use default starting skins or are characters Bangalore, Bloodhound, or Lifeline. Occasionally, there were also Wraith and Pathfinder. -Are all confirmed to be PC accounts. -Do not move at all after landing. They may perform automatic messages, take damage, get knocked down, or be respawned, but remain stationary at the landing location. Appearance Situation: -This happens very often on the Japan server, and has occurred a few times on the Singapore server. -Previously more common in early morning hours, now even around 0–1 am when player numbers are high. Just a few hours ago, just after 20:00 Japan time, I saw them appear not only on my team, but also on the enemy team. -Worst case: both other members of my trio were completely inactive (occurred three times in one night). -I play on PS4 with cross-play enabled. I report each inactive teammate individually using the in-game reporting system, but the frequency and scale suggest that these accounts may be systemically placed. While it would at least be meaningful if BOT players performed minimal activity similar to Bot Royale, having two completely inactive teammates in a trio match makes the game entirely unplayable and unenjoyable. Has anyone else noticed this ? I hope sharing this here can raise awareness and encourage Respawn to take action to improve this issue. I recorded a small portion of the many "immobile BOT players" I encountered from late August through last night and uploaded it to YouTube at the link below. I hope you will give it a try and watch. I recently bought a code from GameStop and Walmart for the Apex Legends Champions Edition and was able to claim them both, but I’m having a problem where whenever I log into the game, I am missing the contents that came with it. I’ve talked to 2 EA support team members and they’ve both told me to submit an EA forum. Is there a reason why i’m not getting anything from the codes?34Views0likes0Commentscontroller players use gyroscope to control the view is cheat?
AntiCheatWard EA_Mako Hello, APEX Anti-Cheat Team! I would like to inquire whether the controller gyroscope function is considered a violation.😧 The Chinese controller industry has developed rapidly, and many controllers have even been used in the ALGS competition due to their excellent performance and diverse functions, such as the GameSir G7 Pro and ZD Legend Ultra controllers. However, a new input method has become popular among Chinese players: mapping joystick inputs using the controller's built-in gyroscope. The purpose of this is to retain aim assist while avoiding the physical delay caused by switching directions when aiming with the joystick. (When the joystick is pushed left and then needs to move in the opposite direction, it must return from the left to the center before being pushed to the right. This process creates delay due to the physical structure of the joystick. The original intention of aim assist is to reduce such delays, allowing controller players to compete relatively fairly against mouse players.) Players who use gyroscopes believe that, unlike converters that gain advantages across different devices, their gyroscope signals are still output from the controller, so this is fair. I know that gyro are banned under ALGS tournament rules. So I would like to ask: is this practice fair for regular players? Or does it count as cheating similar to XIM converters (which map mouse inputs to joysticks to gain aim assist)? Can we use gyroscopes safely? Looking forward to your reply, thank you and have a good day!51Views0likes0Comments
