How to get help with Apex Legends account bans and suspensions
Hey Legends, Is a locked, suspended, or banned EA Account keeping you from accessing Apex Legends? If your thread has been merged here, the information below covers the next steps, including how to check your account status and request a review if you believe the action was applied incorrectly. Please keep in mind that we cannot review, change, or remove account actions here on the forums. Not sure where to start? Sign in to the correct EA Account. If you play on multiple platforms or have more than one EA Account, make sure you're checking the account linked to the platform you use for Apex Legends. Check your EA Account email address for details on the action. We may email you from [email protected] regarding any account action, so be sure it's not being filtered to any spam or junk folders. Check the penalty history tool to see whether your account has an active suspension or ban, along with any available details about the action. Review our Rules of Conduct and Positive Play Charter to better understand the reason an account action may have been issued. If your account is locked rather than suspended or banned, check the account recovery steps first before attempting to submit an appeal. Ready to request a review? If you believe the account action was applied incorrectly, visit the Penalty History page and select the action you'd like to appeal, then follow the on-screen instructions to submit the request. If you don't see the action you want to appeal and have confirmed you're signed into the correct EA Account, check out this EA Help article to review additional details and submit an appeal. What happens next? After creating an appeal you can expect a response from [email protected], or keep an eye on your Case History page for a response once the team has completed their investigation. Each appeal is reviewed by a member of EA's Terms of Service team before a decision is made. While the response you receive may use standard wording, every appeal receives a manual review. If you're no longer able to submit another appeal through the Penalty History page, you've reached the maximum number of reviews available for that action. At that point, the decision is considered final. If your situation isn't covered above, you'll find additional information and answers to common questions in the EA Help article below. Hello, I need help with Apex Legends on PC. After the latest update, the game starts, shows the intro, and then crashes immediately with no error message. I play through Steam. I already verified files, reinstalled the game, restarted my PC, and tried repairing Easy Anti-Cheat, but nothing helped. Easy Anti-Cheat shows an error with incorrect game ID. The game worked before the update. My GPU is RTX 3070. Please help me fix this issue.Solved1.2KViews5likes99CommentsSwitch2 so Horrible

Here's the same text without bullet points: Before posting here, I went through pretty much every troubleshooting step I could find, but nothing has fixed the issue. I've restarted my PS5 multiple times, completely closed and restarted Apex Legends, power cycled my router/modem, and confirmed my internet connection is stable. I've also reinstalled Apex Legends, switched between multiple different data centers (Frankfurt, Amsterdam, London, etc.), and tried matchmaking in every available playlist, including Battle Royale, Ranked, Mixtape, and Firing Range. I've tried queueing solo, verified that my EA account is correctly linked to my PlayStation account, and waited 5–7 days after my account was unbanned in case the changes needed time to propagate. Despite all of these troubleshooting steps, the issue is exactly the same. I can log into the game normally, access the lobby, customize my legends, and play the Training mode without any problems. However, every other mode gets stuck in matchmaking indefinitely. Battle Royale, Ranked, Mixtape, and even Firing Range never load into a game. In normal playlists, the player count doesn't appear at all, and in Firing Range it only briefly shows 1–3 players before never loading. At this point, I'm fairly confident this isn't a console, network, or installation issue. Since the problem only started after my account was unbanned, it seems more likely that my account still has some backend matchmaking restriction or wasn't fully restored after the ban was lifted. Has anyone else experienced this after being unbanned, or does anyone know if there's another account-side check that EA Support can perform?12Views0likes0Commentscontroller players use gyroscope to control the view is cheat?
AntiCheatWard EA_Mako Hello, APEX Anti-Cheat Team! I would like to inquire whether the controller gyroscope function is considered a violation.😧 The Chinese controller industry has developed rapidly, and many controllers have even been used in the ALGS competition due to their excellent performance and diverse functions, such as the GameSir G7 Pro and ZD Legend Ultra controllers. However, a new input method has become popular among Chinese players: mapping joystick inputs using the controller's built-in gyroscope. The purpose of this is to retain aim assist while avoiding the physical delay caused by switching directions when aiming with the joystick. (When the joystick is pushed left and then needs to move in the opposite direction, it must return from the left to the center before being pushed to the right. This process creates delay due to the physical structure of the joystick. The original intention of aim assist is to reduce such delays, allowing controller players to compete relatively fairly against mouse players.) Players who use gyroscopes believe that, unlike converters that gain advantages across different devices, their gyroscope signals are still output from the controller, so this is fair. I know that gyro are banned under ALGS tournament rules. So I would like to ask: is this practice fair for regular players? Or does it count as cheating similar to XIM converters (which map mouse inputs to joysticks to gain aim assist)? Can we use gyroscopes safely? Looking forward to your reply, thank you and have a good day!135Views1like1CommentApex Legends on Nintendo Switch 2 - Voice Chat Not Working
Hello EA Support Team, I am experiencing a persistent voice chat issue while playing Apex Legends on my Nintendo Switch 2. The Issue My microphone is detected by the game, but my voice is never transmitted to my teammates. Symptoms The Nintendo Switch 2 system microphone test works normally. In Apex Legends, the Microphone Threshold indicator moves when I speak, confirming the game detects my microphone input. The speaker icon next to my username stays visible, but it never shows the speaking animation/waveform when I talk. Random teammates cannot hear me. Voice chat was working perfectly before. This issue started after updating both Apex Legends and the Nintendo Switch 2 system software following a one-month break. Troubleshooting Already Attempted Restarted the game and the console. Verified that Voice Chat is enabled in the in-game settings. Tried different networks, including with and without network acceleration. Deleted the local Apex Legends save data to start with a completely new local save. Reconfigured voice settings after deleting the save data. None of the above steps resolved the issue. Additional Observations Changes to the Microphone Threshold setting did not always persist after restarting the game (before deleting the save data). Despite the microphone input being detected, the voice is not transmitted, and the speaking indicator next to my name never activates. Account & System Details Nintendo Switch 2 System Version: 22.5.0 Apex Legends Version: 1.0.27 Country/Region: Japan Microphone Type: Built-in microphone Could you please help investigate whether this is a known issue with the latest Nintendo Switch 2 version, or if there is an issue specific to my EA account? Thank you for your assistance.27Views0likes0CommentsWhat to do if your Apex Legends account got banned or suspended
