Is it possible to obtain Dragon Age: Origins and 2 DLCs on EA app
I know that Dragon Age: Origins and DA2 DLCs were made free after removing BioWare points in 2022. Everywhere I searched I found that to get them I would have to purchase them in Origin Launcher in Extra Content tab. Unfortunatly Origin Servers were shut down a month ago. Can I somehow obtain them for free on EA app? I have standard editions of both games on EA app. I know that it is possible to download some of them from this page "https://help.ea.com/en/help/faq/dlc-for-classic-games/#dragonage", but as far as I know there should be more, for example the HD texture pack for DA2 and Awakening for DA:O. Is buying whole games again from EA app store really the only way to get those DLCs to show in the launcher?135Views0likes1CommentMy DAV Feedback: I don't actually hate the game.
Overall, Dragon Age: Veilguard is shaping up to be a solid RPG in its own right, but as part of the Dragon Age franchise, it feels somewhat disconnected from the series’ established lore and tone. Here are some specific areas where I think the game could improve or benefit from more attention: Lore and Setting Consistency While Veilguard works well as a standalone fantasy RPG or even a spin-off, it struggles to feel like a true Dragon Age title. The series has long been known for its dark, medieval fantasy world with mature political and moral themes. The shift in tone and presentation in Veilguard risks losing the depth and atmosphere that made the earlier games so beloved. Staying closer to the established lore and moral complexity would help it resonate more with long-time fans. Character Depth and Representation It’s great to see Veilguard continue the series’ tradition of inclusivity, including LGBT+ characters like the non-binary companion. However, representation works best when it’s woven naturally into complex, multifaceted characters. In previous games like Inquisition, characters’ identities were an important part of who they were, but not their only defining trait. In Veilguard, some companions feel reduced to a single characteristic or label, which limits their emotional depth and the player’s ability to connect with them. Developing these characters beyond their identities would make them feel more authentic and relatable. Player Agency and Dialogue Options One of the strengths of earlier Dragon Age games was the freedom to shape your character’s personality, morals, and playstyle through meaningful dialogue choices. In Veilguard, the dialogue options often feel limited or like variations of the same response, which restricts player agency. It would benefit the game to offer a broader range of meaningful choices, allowing players to truly roleplay and express their unique approach to situations. Bringing in more feedback from fans and the community, and investing in a strong story writing team, could help ensure that the game lives up to the series’ legacy.Dragon Age 2 DLC not installing.
Hi everyone, I own the Dragon Age 2 Ultimate Edition on steam. I come across to EA to play it, as they make you do, and I can install the base game and play however not the DLC. I go to "Manage Add-ons" then press download. It gets to 96% and says "installation failure. I've tried every single solution I can google but please tell me your fix because at this point I'm just a girl, standing in front of her computer, begging it to download properly. Thank you.Family Settings Import Help!
Hello! I have imported from DragonAge Keep, but when creating a new game it has the "importing world state from dragon age keep cannot be used due to family settings". I am playing on Xbox series S and I have allowed all access in privacy and family settings! I have also gone through the games options and unchecked all 3 boxes relating to the keep, restarted and synced and checked them again but nothing has worked! I feel like it's probably something simple but I can't seem to figure it out, any help would be amazing! Thankyou ☺️
