Partnered Sims turn into siblings
A few minutes into playing after updating, my sim gets a call from her cousin to say that the cousin is now in a relationship with her own brother. I went into the other family to check and sure enough they have a romance bar, and are tagged siblings, sweethearts, and partners. This is NOT okay. Sim 4 Infiniate blue loading screen. No end in sight. Please send help.
This has been happening since at least 12/13/25 according to my last save. That date is now ingrained in my head. Problem: when loading up my sims i press resume and it leads to blue screen. If i pick load save and then play, it loads to blue screen. Sometimes i will hear the sound queue that the game has loaded but it infect has not and im stuck on the same screen. Factors: No CC or mods anymore. removed it during the 50/50 method before i tried with no mods and issue persisted. Was in the middle of a vacation with sims during my last save. Attempted and failed fixes: -Removing CC and mods. -Clearing localthumbcache.package. -Clearing EA app cache. -Moving the Household. -Repairing the game. -Change Driver x thingy to 9. I am losing my mind and about to find a dupe for this game. Help me before i go completely insane. I beg you. I have over 6000 hours and a generation challenge that i'm in gen 3 for. I have so much time and money into a game I cant even play.
Stuck on loading screen
Hi! Does anyone know how to fix the stupid bug where you try to load into your household- and you just get stuck on a loading screen? Everything runs fine until I try to load into my household. I took out the **bleep** mods, UI Cheats, CAS Background, Menu Overrides, MC Command Center- nothing is helping. I even repaired the game, got rid of the localthumbcache...HELP please and thank you :c !
Game Won't Connect To Gallery While Using DX11
Happy Holidays everyone. While this isn't an urgent, game breaking bug, it's seriously annoying me and I've been having the issue for a month straight. I have to alternate between DX9 and 11 just to be able to access the gallery in game. I also get the Sims Delivery error. It has no connectivity issues on DX9, and DX11 also connects just fine running on my laptop, but my desktop hates it, for some reason. Below are a list of the things I've tried: *DNS Flush/Network Reset *Connecting to the Ethernet *Uninstall and Re-install *Allowed the app through Firewall *DEP isn't an option on my desktop setup *Booted the game offline, minimized, went online through EA App, re-opened game. *Ran everything as administrator even tho I am the administrator. *Completely removed the EA folder and allowed the game to generate a new one with no mods or CC *Updated computer and drivers *Cleared App Cache My PC Specs: *AMD Ryzen Cezanne 8-Core Desktop Processor *Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060 Ti 16GB Dedicated *64GB RAM *2 TB SSD/ 1TB HDD I'm at my wits end and have no idea why it won't connect to the gallery in game.
Sims 4 Endless Loading Screen
Hey, so ever since the last update, my game is literally unplayable. I get these weird white screens and extreme lag. I also cannot load into the main menu without it taking forever. Once I get to the main menu selection to choose a household, I am still met with an endless loading screen.. my game has been like this for about a month.. I do NOT use any mods or cc. could someone please help me? i reallly would like to play my game again.Sims game crashing/unplayable
Okay sims team, what the heck is up? Ever since the latest update my game is virtually unplayable. I have done anything and everything I've read about to fix my game, (restart my computer, repair the game, start a new world, etc) but now I can't place roofs, I can't really add sims to my game without it crashing, I started a new save after uninstalling some packs, which then let me add the first household, but now it refuses to let me save or build anything, or play at all. It started with not letting me place roofs, add sims, or save my game, and now it is completely unplayable. I don't use CC or Mods. So what is going on here?My worlds completely reset
Hi! So I purchased the Adventure Awaits and the Enchanted Nature packs a few days ago. When I went on to resume my game, all of the worlds reset, townies included. All of my builds, Renos, etc. are just gone and back to when you start a new game. The last household I was playing was still there, in the house I built for that, but everything else completely reset. All of my mods/ cc show up normally if that's in question. Anyone else encounter this issue and or know if I can fix it?Back to having issues on PS5, honestly can someone help
My game is constantly crashing on ps5 since new update whenever I try to save game or travel to other worlds etc. I have tried the all the tips, cleared cache rebuilt data base, did a hard reset on the ps5 and nothing works to fix the game. I posted this 10 months ago after another update at that point I ended up saving my household and starting a brand new save file. This worked for a while then started with the same issues about 6 months ago and then again about 2 months ago I had to do the same again even though I am only on the 3rd generation of a family this time. This means that every time I have to do something like this every world ive built I have to rebuild and I cant have legacy families because of it, I am constantly rebuilding the same houses and schools etc only for a few months down the line having to start over again. I am an avid simmer ive over 9300 hours into the game I have all the packs but I dont use mods and only on a rare occasion use the build move objects cheat but then once ive finished building a house turn the cheat off. Please please can someone help me as this really is becoming a joke
[PS/XB] Cursor is missing
Can’t save my game. When I switch to needs etc game sends me to load screen. Cursor disappears so I can’t even scroll or play when the save option works which is like 10% of the time. I have already updated the game to the latest version, but it is still showing version 1.115.216.1030. I updated the game via Steam. I own all packs except for the Adventure Awaits Expansion Pack. I use mods, but removing all mods did not change anything. I also deleted the GameVersion file located in: Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 Then I restarted the game, but the version number still did not update. Is it possible to update the game manually?
